I have had animals since I was a child. I am most recently a "dog person" for the last 14 years. In that time I have had 4 dogs: Zelda (a large greyhound) and Fiona (Chihuahua mix), both of whom have crossed the rainbow bridge. Currently, I have two dogs, Monty another Chihuahua mix, and Curie a (mostly) greyhound. I have experience giving dogs medicine, as the greyhound needed daily thyroid pills.

Safety, trust & environment
I am a careful and cautious dog walker. I prefer to use a harness or martingale collar, and I do not use retractable leashes, as they do not offer enough control. And I always clean up after my dog.

Rachel was fantastic with our enthusiastic hound dog during our last getaway, so we booked her again for dog walks while we were out of town over the long weekend. Unfortunately, our pup developed an unexpected stomach issue the day we left. Rachel was extremely communicative and kindly worked with us as we assessed our dog's health and recovery. She was patient, flexible, and incredibly helpful—we were ultimately able to continue our vacation plans knowing that our dog was in great hands. We look forward to requesting Rachel’s help again during our next trip, and our dog does too!

I really appreciate the great communication - looking ahead to dates that may be impacted by holidays and extended weekends. Rachel has continually reached out to ask what my plans are. We all have families and I want to be respectful of her own get-away plans as well. So I appreciate her thinking ahead - especially when I haven't. And our boy "Ryder" never misses his outing!
Rachel did a great job taking care of our 2 cats! We had a last-minute trip come up, and she was quick to agree to watch them. One of our cats needs insulin shots twice a day, and she was comfortable giving them to him. We felt completely comfortable leaving the cats in her care and would definitely have her watch them again!
Rachel was fantastic with our two boys! I sent her a last-minute request after some trouble organizing care for our dogs - she was quick to respond, worked with me to set up a meet-and-greet efficiently, and visited our dogs twice daily while we were way for walks and meals. She sent us photos every day, she was very responsive, and kept us informed with how the pups were doing. I would absolutely book with her again!

Schedule
Both my kids are school age, which leaves me free from about 8:30 to 1:30 during the week. I am available to walk or come play with your pets and let them out.
