About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, which sparked a deep passion for caring for them. Throughout college, I became the go-to pet sitter for several of my professors, caring for their pets for extended periods of time—sometimes up to 2½ weeks. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I’m attentive, responsible, and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime, extra cuddles, or simply a calm and reliable companion while you’re away, I’m happy to give them the care and attention they deserve. I’m currently working part time, averaging about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to taking care of your fur babies! Since I have several years of experience in housesitting/petsitting, I am extremely respectful of another persons space. I have gotten high regards in how clean I leave a home. When it comes to the pets, I treat them as if they are my own, which means I tend to them on hand and foot. Since raising and building a relationship with my feral cat, I have developed patience and understanding for animals that don’t yet trust me.
“Ashley took excellent care of my cat Jack! She was responsive, loving, played with him, sent great photos, and even helped with the packages. I would definitely book her again!”

“Very great experience with Mary! She was very good with my golden retriever spiky! Since it was hot she made sure to adjust the walk so he wouldn’t get too hot and she was very flexible when I had a change in schedule too! Definitely recommend”

“Kate was incredible. She was super communicative and did a great job taking care of our fur baby ❤️ it’s great to be able to enjoy leaving town knowing our doggo will be well taken care of!”

“Sejla is amazing! She took excellent care of my kitty and sent comprehensive updates each visit. My cat is a big people kitty, so I always worry about her when I leave. It was a relief to know she was in such good hands with Sejla.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have hands-on experience caring for dogs through my own Golden Retriever, Vesper. I’m comfortable with everything from daily walks and playtime to feeding, keeping pets company, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their routine. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I’m happy to follow your instructions and keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and care I’d want someone to give mine. My schedule is currently very flexible, which means I can be pretty accommodating to your pet’s routine and needs. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits, and I’m happy to work around your preferred timing whenever possible. I’m especially happy to spend some extra time with pets who need companionship during the day. I’ll always do my best to keep their normal routine consistent so they feel comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I know it can feel stressful leaving your pets with someone new, especially when that person will be coming into your home, so I take that responsibility seriously. I’m respectful of your home, attentive to your pet’s needs, and will follow your instructions and routines closely. I’ll make sure doors and gates are secure, keep an eye out for anything unusual, and communicate with you if I have any questions or concerns. I’m also happy to send regular photo and text updates so you know how your pets are doing while you’re away.
“Appreciate Flora for taking our last minute request and drop in for our cat Reggae over weekend. Communication with her was prompt and easy, and she did a great job taking care of Reggae. She also took some of the best looking cat pics. Thank you Flora!”

“Zola is great! My cat is skittish and my partner’s cat is more outgoing, and she was able to give each the right amount of attention. By the end of our trip, they were right at home with Zola Her updates and fun photos were much appreciated as well; would rebook again!”

“Ching-Chi did a great job setting my cat! Highly recommended!!! Besides keeping my cat’s water food and litter well supplied and clean, she played with my cat every time and helped with the trash bin while we are absent. I will definitely book her services again for my next trip!”

“Sabrina has been the best find on Rover! She is kind, dependable, and very responsive. You can immediately sense her love for dogs. She treats my pup like one of her own and he is always very excited to see her. I highly recommend Sabrina’s services!”

“Katie is amazing! She helped me out last minute by doing some drop in visits with my two dogs Bear and Riley. Her communication is the best; I got reports and pics of my dogs. She clearly has a gift for not only photography but also connecting with animals. If my dogs could talk I know they would ask for Katie to come back!”

“Donna was a blessing to our dog and our family. She is an excellent communicator and took wonderful care of our dog for one day. We had peace of mind knowing our prescious dog was in such caring hands while we were away.”

About: Nice to meet you, my name is Ghelina and I have always loved animals. I currently have the time available to be able to share, attend to them and, above all, give them a lot of appreciation. I live in San José in an apartment, so I have the space available to be able to share with your pet🐶🐱. Anke always takes great care of Sammy and Tilly. Even on this trip where I didn’t have cell service and had to rely on satellite communication, she kept me informed, including reporting not just on their bodily functions but also their demeanors. We had a bit of a misunderstanding surrounding food storage but she was very apologetic.

It’s a continued relief and pleasure to have Yukie tend to our cats. Our cats seriously adore her and seem to have such a blast with her (we’re convinced they have more fun playing with her than they do us). Yukie is so good with our cats unique needs (I have one super shy girl who comes out and plays super hard only when Yukie is watching her, another who’s picky about food who seems to really enjoy when Yukie makes his dinner but I know he’d turn is nose if I made the same meal for him). Yukie is so polite and kind, very communicative and reliable. Whenever we’re planning a trip our first “to-do” / thought is to check Yukie’s availability. I get very worried and anxious about my pets but feel like I never have to worry when I know Yukie is taking care of them. Thank you Yukie we so appreciate you!!

I’ve booked Carissa 8 times now and will continue to do so. She is very reliable and communicative. I always look forward to reading her very detailed and colorful reports along with funny pictures of my cats. She is also very attentive and vacuumed up litter that had tracked around the house without us asking her to. There was an instance where she figured out how to turn on the water valve (which I forgot I shut off) to refill the water fountain. She also brings in packages without us asking her to. I trust that my cats are in good hands when she comes over.

Gabriel was a wonderful cat sitter for my cat, Moushi. He was always on time and paid great attention to every detail, making sure nothing was overlooked. What I especially appreciated was the time and effort he put into earning Moushi’s trust in the beginning. He was patient and genuinely cared about making her feel comfortable. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that Moushi was in such caring and reliable hands. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable cat sitter!

Sophia is a fantastic cat sitter! She was reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of my cat Zima. The daily updates and photos kept me completely at ease while I was gone. Everything was tidy, and I can tell my cat Zima enjoyed her time with Sophia. I couldn't have asked for a better experience—highly recommended!

In the 13th hour, after having a sitter cancel on day 1 of my trip, Meara was incredibly flexible and was able to make room in her schedule to help care for Chicken and Pookie. While the kitties were under her care, she invested time to get to know them. She went above and beyond to not only communicate their needs but their emotional states. If you're looking for a sitter that cares and love your pets, Meara is the person for you!

We always know our cat is in good hands with Cassidy, and we're so grateful for how well she follows any instructions we leave. It's such peace of mind not having to worry about our cat when we're out of town, and Cassidy always sends wonderful updates and pictures. I highly recommend her!

Best sitter ever!! Very attentive to my cat’s needs, she does what it takes to make them comfortable around her, and ensure they are doing good in my absence. Followed all of my instructions to a tee (and my cat takes multiple medications). I will Definitely be using her again!! Highly recommend!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
