“My husband and I are new to Rover, we were skeptical of trying it out. Katie eased our fears and we are so happy that we found Katie, she’s amazing. It feels so good knowing that our fur babies and turtle are looked after with such care.”

“Sejla is amazing! She took excellent care of my kitty and sent comprehensive updates each visit. My cat is a big people kitty, so I always worry about her when I leave. It was a relief to know she was in such good hands with Sejla.”

About: Growing up around all kinds of feather and furry friends, caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, poultry, goats, rabbits, pigs, and even reptiles. Whether it's a gentle morning feeding, a peaceful walk, or some down-to-earth cuddle time, I make sure your animals feel safe, understood, and right at home. I pride myself on being patient, calm, and observant, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm, as my family has daily ranch duties. In clients' homes, I maintain your pet's routine with consistency and care. I provide scheduled feedings, exercise, enrichment, medication if needed, and a clean environment. I respect your space, follow all instructions, and communicate throughout visits with photos and updates.
“Highly recommend! She was incredibly detailed and responsible throughout the entire process. She even came over ahead of time for a meet-and-greet to familiarize herself with the entry process, which gave me great peace of mind. During the visits, she strictly followed all instructions to check on my two cats and provided very thorough, detailed updates and photos. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my babies!”

“We had a great experience with Jessica. She was reliable, caring, and very communicative. She kept us updated with photos, and our pets were happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!”

“I was nervous about finding a new person to watch out pets during travel, but I’m so glad I found Octavia! We came home to happy, relaxed pets and a clean place - I will definitely ask Octavia to take care is the fur fam again.”
“Charlene was very professional, patient, and responsible. We needed to be away for a few days, and we hired her to take care of our cat and dog. Before our trip, she confirmed all the care details with us and even asked for information about our regular emergency vet. During the time she was looking after them, she not only completed all the essential tasks, but also spent time interacting with our pets.”

“Ariana took great care of my senior dog Chester, who has some special health issues. She is very caring, thoughtful, and a good communicator. I would not hesitate to have Ariana care for Chester again!”

About: Throughout my childhood I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds - dogs in particular. My family has always had at least one dog in our household and I’ve spent a combined three years volunteering, shadowing, and working at animal hospitals / clinics - learning how to meet the needs of every dog or cat I encounter. The passion I had as a child led me to pursue zoology. I recently graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt and while there I worked at the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center. It was here that I learned to confidently and humanely rehabilitate numerous critters. I’ve worked with everything from raccoons to seabirds! The experience I’ve collected throughout my life has left me confident in my ability to provide structured and comforting care to any cat, dog, or other critters you may have. Please feel free to reach out with more questions or inquiries! :) Taking care of pets is my passion and priority. I'm available any time of the day, on both weekends and weekdays, to give good care to your animals. The most important things I focus on are giving love to all pets and ensuring they feel safe. Additionally, I have or create a schedule for taking care of the pet's needs, from meals to potty breaks to medication.

Whether it’s feeding, cleaning, or simply keeping them company, I make sure every pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved. I am available for pet care visits on weekday evenings and nights, and I have full availability on weekends. I also have a flexible WFH schedule, which allows me to accommodate additional visits when needed. I also take time to interact with the pets so they don’t feel lonely while their owners are away. I treat every home with respect and make sure everything is left clean and tidy after each visit.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fruitdale
Sophia always does a wonderful job taking care of our kitties. I’m so thankful for her expert kind care, attention to detail, and reliability. We’ve been booking with her for many years and hope to continue for many more. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our cats are in such capable and caring hands whenever we’re away. We highly recommend Sophia to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter!

Kexin really cared about my cat and took the time to get to know her personality and quirks to provide a calming and enjoyable experience. I would absolutely book again just for the kindness and compassion not to mention the care she took to keep everything clean and orderly.

This was our first time using Sara when our usual sitter was unavailable and she was great! She was very attentive during the initial meeting and it's very assuring to have a vet tech as our sitter as our cat gets older. She took fantastic care of our cat, going above and beyond! She sent lots of photos as well.

Ivan is very kind, detail oriented, and trust worthy as a pet sitter. We have three cats and two of them are high maintenance. Ivan was careful to give our cats their medications and daily walks outside. He played with them and frequently sent us pictures. He seemed to understand just how important our cats are to us.

Maya and I are both so happy with Suzanne’s care while I was out of town for a long weekend. She made sure all of Maya’s needs were taken care of (food, water, medication, etc), but she also spent time giving her company, attention, and love while I was away. Since Maya is a senior kitty, it was especially reassuring to know she was in such caring hands. Suzanne gave me real peace of mind, and I never had to worry about how Maya was doing while I was gone. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable cat sitter.

Jeanne was on time the two mornings to feed our feral cats which are three to four of them, though these cats she will not see since they hide until she leaves our front yard. Yet, we invited her into our front room when she came to our front door and Jeanne has a wonderful spirit who can talk about just about anything plus no shyness is there about her. Jeanne smiles, laughs and keeps eye contact while we all talked also. Lovely personality she has... I'm glad she lives close by us too. Thank you. Sincerely, Mrs. Bonnie Kellerby

I’ve had Sora take care of my senior cat multiple times already while Im away and feel confident that I’m leaving my cat in good hands. My cat needs to be given several medications and Sora is able to handle that with no issues. She also updates me regularly. Will definitely rebook in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
