About: Growing up around all kinds of feather and furry friends, caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, poultry, goats, rabbits, pigs, and even reptiles. Whether it's a gentle morning feeding, a peaceful walk, or some down-to-earth cuddle time, I make sure your animals feel safe, understood, and right at home. I pride myself on being patient, calm, and observant, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm, as my family has daily ranch duties. Mornings start with feedings and check-ins, afternoons are flexible for visits, and evenings wind down with quiet time, walks, and last rounds. Your pets become part of the natural flow of my week. In clients' homes, I maintain your pet's routine with consistency and care. I provide scheduled feedings, exercise, enrichment, medication if needed, and a clean environment. I respect your space, follow all instructions, and communicate throughout visits with photos and updates.

“Eos seemed to love her company! Got a ton of photos and updates for just coming by for a potty break. Does late evenings which works perfect for my shift work schedule.”

“We had a great experience with Hsuan-Chu. She took such good care of our cats and really spent time playing with them, which they loved. Clove is usually pretty shy and nervous around new people, but she actually felt comfortable with Hsuan-Chu and even warmed up to her, which meant a lot to us. Cumin also enjoyed spending time with her and clearly had a great time playing. Communication was easy, we always got thoughtful updates, and we could tell they were both happy and well cared for. We’d definitely book with her again.”

“Sejla once again took amazing care of my cats! This was the first time I left the new kitty alone with my other kitty, and Sejla did a great job wearing him out so he wouldn’t be a pest. I’d recommend Sejla to everyone!”

“Highly recommend! She was incredibly detailed and responsible throughout the entire process. She even came over ahead of time for a meet-and-greet to familiarize herself with the entry process, which gave me great peace of mind. During the visits, she strictly followed all instructions to check on my two cats and provided very thorough, detailed updates and photos. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my babies!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, and small pets like gerbils. I have a calm, patient, and friendly demeanor that helps me quickly build trust with animals of all personalities. As a dedicated animal lover, I treat every pet like family. I understand how important peace of mind is when you’re away, so I make it a priority to provide regular updates and photos to keep you reassured. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and pets who require medication, and I’m attentive to their individual needs and routines I am available most days out of the week, and on weekends. I currently work from home, so I can assure you that your pet will get all the attention and love they deserve! When boarding pets in my home, they are provided with a private, comfortable space in a dedicated spare bedroom to help them feel safe and relaxed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am respectful of all household rules, maintain cleanliness, and provide regular updates and photos to ensure peace of mind while you’re away.
“Lucy was sooo amazing with my 2 cats the week we were out of town. She remembered all of their favorite toys and foods, and even showed them a new favorite way to eat their treats! They tend to get too excited with food and it comes back up, and Lucy flagged it to us and monitored them, and adjusted her treat-giving strategy accordingly which was really kind of her. My cats get very lonely and stressed out when we leave, and despite their hesitation around strangers they looked forward to her visits and waited for her by the door. I also worry about them when I travel, but she was very responsive with comms and shared super detailed daily reports and hundreds of adorable pics that put my heart at ease! I will definitely be asking her to come hang out with my cats again in the future & would highly recommend her to my friends & other cat families out there!”

“Ariana did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Max. She was responsible, caring, spent lots of time playing with him, and made sure he was always well looked after. I’m very grateful for her help. If you’re looking for someone reliable and who truly loves dogs, she’s the one to pick.”

“We have been calling on Kathleen for 3 years now. She is hands down the best for us and our Dempsey...he loves her and so do we! She absolutely knows everything about our dog and is 100% reliable and secure. She has followed all COVID-19 protocols and I trust her totally and completely.”

“Elena was wonderful as always - she stays a while to play with the cats and is always follows instructions to a T. And when things go awry (like your A/C overflowing with water because you forgot to turn it off), she’s right there to help without any prompting. So glad to have worked with her again, and will be coming back!”

About: Hi! I’m a De Anza College nursing student and a lifelong dog and animal lover. I’m reliable, routine-focused, and confident caring for a wide range of dogs, including high-energy pups and dogs who need calmer, structured walks. I gained hands-on experience caring for a sweet but reactive Golden Retriever while working as an au pair in Germany, so I’m very attentive to leash safety, triggers, and keeping walks smooth and safe. I’m also raising my own Golden Retriever puppy, Sunny, so I’m comfortable managing energetic dogs and staying consistent with routines. I’m detail-oriented, happy to follow your instructions closely, and I can give oral medications if needed. I’m also gentle with senior dogs who need a slower pace. You can expect thoughtful updates, photos, and calm, consistent care. Pet care fits into my weekly routine. I plan my class/study schedule around my Rover bookings so I can be consistent and on time. On weekdays, I’m typically available for morning, midday, and evening visits/walks (my calendar reflects my exact availability). I prioritize routine, so once we agree on times, I stick to them. I also build in flexibility for longer walks, extra potty breaks, and unexpected needs, and I communicate early if anything changes. Trust and safety are my top priorities, and I treat every pet like my own. In a client’s home: • I will make sure to follow your routine (feeding, potty breaks, walk style, and house rules). • I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes/harnesses before leaving. • Walks are calm and controlled: I avoid risky situations, keep safe distance from triggers, and don’t allow off-leash time unless you’ve explicitly approved a secure area. (I never take pets to dog parks unless the owner requests it and we’ve discussed it in advance.) • I keep your home tidy and secure (lights/locks, wiping paws if needed, quick cleanup after meals). In my home (if boarding/daycare): • Pets are supervised and kept in a calm, clean environment. • I separate pets during meals/treats to prevent resource guarding. • I use positive reinforcement and respect each pet’s comfort level. • I can accommodate crate routines if your pet is crate-trained. Communication: • You’ll get photo/video updates and a short note each visit. • If anything unusual happens (vomiting, injury, appetite changes, behavior shifts), I contact you right away and follow your instructions. • I’m comfortable giving oral medications and caring for seniors who need a gentler pace. I would also prefer a Meet & Greet so I can learn your pet’s routine and make sure we’re a great match.

“Katie is amazing, and we are so glad we found her! She has been doing drop-in visits with our dog Summer twice a week for a couple of months. Katie seems to genuinely care for Summer, and she recognizes how sweet and gentle Summer is (despite being dog reactive outside!). We love seeing the pics Katie shares from her visits, and we also appreciate how communicative and flexible she is with schedule changes. We are so thankful we have someone we can trust to take great care of our pup!”

Claire did an amazing job taking care of both my home and my cat, Bubbles, while I was away. She was reliable, communicative, and gave me peace of mind the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and photos, and it was clear that Bubbles was comfortable and well cared for. She also helped with my package deliveries, ant traps and checking on my smoke detector, which I truly appreciated. I would absolutely book Claire again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable Rover sitter!

Mary was an excellent caretaker of our kitties while we were out for an extended weekend. She was very communicative, thorough, and followed the care instructions that we laid out. We appreciated the photos she sent us during her visit and will be booking with her again in the future. We would recommend Mary to other pet owners!

Anke is a real cat whisperer. Our cats are very selective about whom they let pet them, but at the same time they’re very social, so I’ve been worried about leaving them home for too long. But Anke showered them with love and playtime, and they fell in love with her right away. She’s also a great photographer and provides amazing updates and reports, with her, you always know what’s going on at home with your cats when you’re away. I’m sure they miss her now!
Cassidy did a great job. She was very conscientious and attentive to our six 4-legged creatures, some of whom have fur, some of whom have scales, and some of whom have that rubbery skin-like substance that amphibian and gecko legs are made of. Thank you, Cassidy!

Wow, I can't say enough great things about Jessica! She was a prompt and thorough communicator during the whole process. She provided detailed updates and numerous photos from her daily visits. We've never left our shy, scared cat home alone for more than a day or two. We worried about how she would do with a stranger for over a week. Jessica was able to bond with her quickly and bring her out of her shell. Jessica is truly a cat whisperer! We couldn't have asked for a better cat-sitting experience.

Amanda did such an incredible job with the animals. We could not be happier with having found her to care for them. She did a great job of communicating with us on what they need - she able to corral our tiny barker and take her out without any trouble, which can be no mean feat when she doesn’t want to be caught. She was so sweet with both the cat and the dog and she paid equal attention to them both. Her behavior was very professional. She showed up exactly on time, did all the tasks we asked for, left the animals and the house on tip top shape, and paid attention to the details when she was taking care of them like water, food, and not letting the puppy eat anything on her walk. Thank you Amanda! We recommend her to everyone for both cats and dogs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
