About: I’ve been dog sitting, walking, and providing overnight care for several years, working with dogs of all sizes—from Chihuahuas to Great Dane mixes. I’m comfortable with energetic, playful dogs as well as shy or fearful pups who need patience and reassurance. For the past several months, I’ve taken shelter dogs on field trips through County of Santa Clara Animal Services, where I’ve gained experience handling dogs in new environments, on hikes, and in stimulating settings. This has strengthened my leash handling, situational awareness, and ability to read canine body language. I also have experience with both senior dogs and puppies. I understand that seniors may need a slower pace and gentle care, while puppies require consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, exercised, and loved while you’re away :) As a student, I have a structured but flexible schedule which allows me to consistently fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m typically available for morning, midday, and evening drop-in visits, and I plan my class schedule to allow time for reliable pet care commitments. Pet care fits naturally into my week—whether that means morning walks before class, midday drop-ins, or evening visits and overnights. I’m organized and intentional about managing my time, so I only accept bookings I can fully commit to. On weekends, I have even greater flexibility for longer visits, extended stays, or multiple drop-ins per day. I prioritize clear communication and reliability so you can feel confident your pet is in consistent, attentive care! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walk routes, house rules, and any specific behavioral needs. Safety is always my top priority. I double-check doors, gates, and harnesses, remain attentive on walks, and closely monitor pets during visits. I’m mindful of potential hazards and ensure your home is left exactly as I found it—clean, secure, and respected. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and home is a big responsibility, and I treat both with the highest level of care and respect.
“Coralee is wonderful! The dogs love her, she is communicative and respectful. The other day I was on an important meeting and Coralee came in the house. She knew about the meeting and was super quiet even when one of my dogs would not come to her. She really read the situation and handled it beautifully! Thank you, Coralee!”

“Kate was awesome with my Golden Retriever and I would definitely hire her again. Reliable, communicative, trustworthy, professional and friendly. My dog was excited to go on walks with her!”

About: Hi! I’m Nicolette, a biology student and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both cats and dogs. As a senior cat owner myself, I’m very comfortable with feline behavior and understand that every cat has their own unique personality, routine, and comfort level. I also have experience walking dogs of different sizes and energy levels and enjoy providing safe, engaging walks tailored to each dog’s needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion around, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I provide regular updates and photos throughout each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m home for the summer and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable care throughout the week and on weekends. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, I can easily accommodate their routine and make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’m experienced following detailed care instructions, administering medications when needed, and recognizing body language and behavioral cues. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a calm, positive, and stress-free experience.
About: I had a dog since I was around 8 years old. she recently passed away but I was the one who took her on walks, gave her baths and gave her so much love, hugs, kisses and snuggles :) I currently do not have a pet but would love to be able to share that love from my old dog to many others ❤️ I have a large backyard for fun roaming, running, and play time. I have a fun lively family who also adores animals. I am a fast learner so whatever you need I feel I have the ability to meet those expectations.

“Scott has been taking our dog on regular walks since October. He is always reliable, easy to communicate with, and sends lots of pics/info from the walks. I recommend him very highly. Look no further!”

“Karlin was very reliable and we felt safe leaving our dog in her care. Would be very happy if she will take care of Hazel again next time we need someone. She was thoughtful and a good communicator too. Thank you again, Karlin!”

About: I'm very much a dog person. I've had dogs my entire life and truly enjoy being around them. I currently have an 8-month-old, very friendly puppy that is crate trained and potty trained. Because he is still young, I focus heavily on the reward system for training so he gets lots of positive reinforcement. I am also very experienced with senior dogs and dogs that require meds. I recently lost my two beloved senior dogs, my 11 yearold chihuahua Chip who had MVD and tracheal collapse, and a 13 year old German Shepherd, Hope, who had cancer. Because of them, I have a lot of experience providing medications, including liquid medicine in syringes. With that, I am also able to easily feed kibble, wet food, supplements, or handle any specific medical or dietary routine your dog needs. I also have a doggy cart from when walking became too much for my GSD. She would go on the cart and eventually want to walk a little, then get back on and she loved it! I have it available for any boarding or walking pup that likes to go outside but to whom walking the whole way is just too much. My Schedule: Monday and Tuesday: I work onsite and am typically out of the house from9:30-ish to 5:30ish. However, I can make my hours flexible enough to come home earlier for a potty break if needed within a certain time frame, just let me know and I can plan accordingly. Wednesday through Friday: I work completely remote from home, so I am around all day for constant companionship, playtime, and walks! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to message me. I understand that each dog is different and aim to provide a flexible set up as I can! Wednesday through Friday (Remote Days): Our days start early with a morning walk and breakfast before I log on for work. Because I am remote these days, your dog will have constant companionship. I take regular breaks throughout the day for playtime and potty stretches. After work, the evenings are completely dedicated to longer walks, park visits, or burning off energy with brain games and dinner. Monday and Tuesday (Onsite Days): I am out of the house from 9:30-5:30 (roughly) on these days. Before I leave, all dogs get a good morning walk and breakfast. My puppy stays comfortably in his crate while I'm gone. If your dog needs a midday potty break during these hours, I can easily adjust my schedule to swing home and let them out—just let me know in advance so I can plan my day around it! Ideally, I prefer boarding dogs to be crate-trained so they can stay safely tucked away while I'm out, but if your dog is super chill and trustworthy, I'm totally fine letting them stay out to roam. No matter the day, your dog's feeding, medication, and exercise schedules will always be followed. Safety is my absolute top priority. Having raised an energetic puppy and managed the delicate health needs of two senior dogs, I am highly attuned to creating a safe, low stress environment for any pup. Emergency Peace of Mind: I live within minutes to MedVet Campbell and SAGE upon any emergency. If your pet ever requires immediate medical attention, they are just a quick drive away from these 24/7 facilities. In My Home (Boarding): A Safe, PuppyProofed Space: Having dealt with a young puppy, my home is dog-proofed. There are no loose cords, toxic plants, or small items left out for curious mouths to chew on. Supervised Introductions: Because I have an active 8 month old puppy, all dog interactions are strictly supervised. I make sure play stays balanced and fun. If a guest dog prefers their own space or gets tired, I easily separate them using baby gates, crates or different rooms so everyone feels secure. Medical & Dietary Security: I strictly follow your feeding, supplement, and medication schedules. Because of my background with intensive medical care for my senior dogs, I am incredibly observant of a dog’s body language and behavior to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and healthy. Out on Walks: Strict Leash Safety: Dogs are always kept securely on leash and I always ensure that collars and harnesses are properly fitted before we ever step out the door. No Unpredictable Greetings: For safety and trust, I do not let guest dogs greet strange or unknown dogs while we are out on walks. We focus entirely on a fun, peaceful, and stimulating walk unless you allow for friendly greetings. Senior Mobility Support: If I am walking an older pup, we go at their pace. I also have a doggy cart when walking is too much so that they still get to enjoy the fresh air safely without overexerting themselves. I also have a dog carrier - similar to a baby carrier that I got for my chihuahua. Silly but it really worked! That is also available for small dogs if your dog is open to it.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for pets, both personally and professionally. As a veterinary technician, I’ve learned a lot about animal health, behavior, and safety—so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I’m very in tune with animals and can usually tell when something isn’t quite right, making sure they stay happy, safe, and comfortable. I’m also a pet owner myself, so I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I treat every animal like they’re my own—with lots of love, patience, and attention (and yes, probably a few extra cuddles if they’re into that 🐾). I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and other exotic animals. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, medications, or more specialized care, I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s routine and needs. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and totally at ease while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for like family. I do work during the day, but I always make time in the mornings and after work to give pets the attention and care they need. I’m also available on weekends, so your pet will have consistent care, playtime, and company throughout the week. I live near a dog park, which is great for safe walks and getting energy out. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority. I pay close attention to their behavior and make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for at all times. I also follow routines closely so your pet feels right at home.
About: I’ve been around dogs since I was very young and currently have my own labrador retriever! I’m well versed in caring for high energy dogs and know how to control a pack! I’m currently a student in college and dog walk when I’m home for the summer! I have flexible hours and can work around different schedules and needs. I can easily take care of your dog within your home and find a nice route to walk your puppy along! I can’t wait to spend time with your fur baby!!
“Valentina was fabulous! Scout is a very shy dog and Valentina worked so hard to successfully get scout’s trust. Scout had a great time with her and I definitely plan to use her again!!”

About: Growing up my family both owned pups and boarded in our home, so I've had lots of experience caring for different kinds of dogs. As an adult I had a golden retriever whom I did an extensive amount of training with. She was my baby and I fully understand how important it is to know you are trusting your pup with someone who will take great care of them while you are away. I currently have a very flexible schedule during the week and am available for drop-in visits, walks, or sitting in your home. I also have availability most weekends at the moment. I don't have a pet at the moment and will treat yours like they are my own! I know the importance of building trust with pups to ensure safety for them, myself, and those around us.
About: Hi, I’m Nina! I am a true animal lover and grew up in a house full of dogs, cats, and a menagerie of pets over the course of my childhood (rats, hamsters, birds, fish, frogs, lizards, turtles, snakes). I have been pet sitting for over a decade, including over 35 stays total with at least 25 different satisfied families and repeat customers. Up until 2023 when I joined Rover, I have just been working off of personal referrals. I have helped with both short and long term stays with 1 or 2 dogs of various breeds and sizes, as well as cats, chickens, birds, reptiles, fish, etc. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs—and everything in between! Past clients would describe me as reliable, respectful, and a great communicator. References happily provided upon request! Rates are negotiable depending on your pet’s needs and schedule—please don’t hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to hearing from you! A bit more about my experience: I cared for 4 families’ dogs while nannying by walking, feeding, petting, and playing with them each day in addition to caring for their child(ren). I also have stopped in and checked on/fed dogs, cats, and reptiles many times. While I have not owned a dog full time by myself, I have had pet rats and used to borrow my mom’s dog frequently for adventures, as well as helping roommates with pets that I have lived with. I attended horse back riding camps and shows in my youth and have cared for horses off and on my whole life, as my sister is a horse owner. I am the first to point out (and probably talk to) any wildlife on a hike! :) I work remotely during regular business hours Monday-Friday, so I am available as long as you have reliable wifi! Please feel free to reach out at any time—I look forward to hearing from you (and meeting your pets!). I am happy to check in on your pets diligently. I provide lots of photos and info about each visit. For your pets’ peace of mind, I would likely rather stay at your home with them to keep them most comfortable and in a familiar environment while you are away. I am a very respectful houseguest. I clean up after myself as much as possible—I don’t want to require any extra work from you after returning home!

Ava is great with my senior girl. She allows Callie to go at her own pace and understands that new smells are Callie’s favorite. Ava was even willing to drive her to a nearby park to mix it up a bit so she wasn’t always walking in the same areas. Good communication and very considerate, I definitely recommend Ava!

David is a rare find — reliable, kind, and truly cares. There are no words to fully capture the level of care David has shown for our Oreo. He's understanding, listens with patience, and is meticulous about following directions — the kind of person you can genuinely count on. He handled our goofy husky like a pro, and even gave attention to our cats, which wasn't part of the job at all. He's also incredibly responsive and consistently goes above and beyond — taking Oreo on longer walks and spending extra time with him. David was an absolute godsend while we were out of town for an extended trip. We came home to a dog who was relaxed, happy, and honestly more fit and healthy than when we left, thanks to all the exercise he made sure Oreo got. Beyond being a wonderful dog walker, David is just a genuinely great human being — generous, humble, dependable, and someone we feel lucky to have found. Highly, highly recommend.

I needed a last-minute dog walker for the week and Javante was so kind to help out! We weren’t able to meet beforehand, but he was very communicative and reached out with questions. Birdie seemed to love him as well! I appreciate his help and care for her so much.

Adrienne was absolutely wonderful with our sweet Rocky! He took to her right away, and it was clear from the start that he was comfortable and happy in her care. She was reliable, conscientious, and attentive, giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking Adrienne again. Highly recommend!

Zhi W. has been an incredible dog walker for our rescue dog, Pinky. From the very beginning, she took the time to get to know Pinky and met her exactly where she was, never rushing the process. As a large rescue dog, Pinky needed a lot of patience, love, and understanding, and Zhi gave her all of that and more. Zhi has always been consistent, dependable, and an excellent communicator. She kept us updated during every walk, shared how Pinky was doing, and made us feel confident that she was in the best hands. It’s clear that she truly loves dogs and understands that every dog has unique needs. Thanks to her calm, compassionate approach, Pinky grew more comfortable and confident over time. We always felt completely at ease knowing Pinky was safe, happy, and well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Zhi again and absolutely plan to schedule walks with her in the future. We highly recommend Zhi to anyone looking for a trustworthy, patient, reliable, and caring dog walker!
Anke is the best of the best. We used Rover for the first time to help out our 2 dogs while we were on vacation. One of our dog needs special help as he is diabetic. Anke gave us full confidence and she discovered skin allergies on our other dog which we had missed. She took utmost care of both of them and we felt very relieved and safe. She would stay in touch with us daily and took charge of all our pet's needs. I would highly recommend Anke -- we are super thankful to have found her.
Jamie was wonderful to work with! She took the time to calmly listen as I shared all the details about my dog’s daily routine, arthritis, likes, and needs. I really appreciated how patient, attentive, and caring she was. She also showed me her home and backyard, which made me feel very comfortable and confident that my dog would be in a safe, loving environment. We had a great 30-minute walk together, and Jamie was so gentle and kind with my dog. It was clear that she genuinely cares about animals and takes the time to get to know each pet. I would definitely recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a compassionate pet caregiver. In fact, after our meet-and-greet walk, I felt so comfortable that I’ve already booked her to dog sit for my dog for 10 days in July. Thank you, Jamie!

Am adding the 5 stars to my prior review... Jamie is a mature, caring and capable pet person. We have a very anxious dog and Jamie was very understanding - taking the time to get to know him. It is very challenging to find someone who you can trust with your pets, and we are lucky to have found Jamie!
Stephania has been doing check ins for my Dachshund puppy twice a day 3x a week for a few weeks now, and it is no easy task! At our first initial meeting, Stephania asked very detailed questions about her care, training, schedule, behavior, vet information, and also my expectations on what a day to day visit would look like. Her diligence reassured me that she is detailed oriented and really cares about providing the best care possible. She is very easy to contact, responds quickly, and openly communicates. My work schedule is very random, but Stephania goes above and beyond to work around it. Stephania is also very respectful of my home, and leaves it exactly as I left it, which I really appreciate. I also have cats in my home that she is not responsible for caring for, but will still show them love and attention anyways. Poppy and I appreciate everything she does, and I am confident in rebooking her again!

Sasha and Claire have been amazing with Wini! They’ve been super reliable, communicative, and you can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Wini was being taken care of while I was at work. Highly recommend them and would absolutely book again!

Skye took care of my Shiba for the past week. She was reserved during the meet & greet, but she had incredible attention to detail and care. Not only did she take regular (and amazing) photos every day, she made sure to brush him regularly and feed him cold water from the fridge. It really felt like she was treating him as her own. Given Shiba commonly act like cats, if you have a dog or a cat, i have no doubt that she’ll take great care of them!
