About: I’ve grown up with animals, which translated well to me petsitting for several of my professors throughout college. Some of my childhood pets had specific health needs, so I am well versed in how to medicate a finicky cat or a large dog. I have my own cat, named Mushy, who I found as a feral and worked with her patiently for months until she was completely domesticated. This cat, who used to be completely untrusting of humans, now has to sleep ON my face every night, which I think speaks volumes about the care I can provide.

About: I would love to pet sit any type of pet you have. My experience level is dogs, cats, and recently bunnies; however I'd love to learn about all pets. So if you have anything besides the usual animals I'm ready to learn. I've been around dogs my whole life. I've had a dog in my life ever since I was 5 years old. I have had mostly medium to small size dogs, such as Springer Spaniels, a Cockapoo, a Cocker spaniel, and now a Chorkie( Chihuahua /Yorkie mix). I currently have a 10 yr old cat, a 4 yr old Chorkie, and our first bunny (1 yr old Holland Lop Eared, for which I'm absolutely in LOVE with). I have taken care of family members' dogs when they need me, but i'm new to the rover.com community. I have two daughters ages 15, and 13 in the home. I'm currently not working. I was working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for the past 20 years, and have recently been given the unexpected opportunity to re-evaluate my life's purpose. At this time I am available most days, as I am a single mom taking my kids to and from school, and to their after school activities. I would like to earn money in order to go to an online vet tech program, and see where that can take me/us(my kids and myself). I live in a very nice modular home park, and currently do not have a fence. At this time I can pet sit in your home during days or evenings only (No overnights). I'd also enjoy pet sitting most other animals (as long as they are friendly).

Chickee's daily routine involves some eye meds. Grace followed the instructions perfectly to keep the meds. on schedule. Grace also kept a watchful eye on Chickee when other dogs were near (due to her small size). Grace was also flexible with my schedule by allowing a 1/2 hr. window for drop off and pick-up. About: I have personal experience helping to train and walking reactive smaller dogs who need a confident and kind leader. I will be attending a PhD program in Clinical Psychology starting this fall and know the importance of catering to each soul individually whether it is a person or pet. I also have experience with older dogs who struggle with neurological issues know how important it is to ensure that the owner as well as the pet have piece of mind in their pet care. I am currently unemployed while I prepare for graduate school, therefore I am available each day of the week and can make any schedule work for me! I am always happy to meet your pet at their crate or at the door, whatever is most comfortable for them! I love to play enrichment games with my pets that engage their mind and body in order to help their cognition. A simple one I play with my sisters miniature schnauzer is putting his food under paper plates on top of a towel and he has to figure out how to access his food and he loves it! I always think a simple game after a walk is such a great way to tire them out on multiple levels!

I have helped with both short and long term stays with 1 or 2 dogs of various breeds and sizes, as well as cats, chickens, birds, reptiles, fish, etc. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs—and everything in between! A bit more about my experience: I cared for 4 families’ dogs while nannying by walking, feeding, petting, and playing with them each day in addition to caring for their child(ren). I also have stopped in and checked on/fed dogs, cats, and reptiles many times. While I have not owned a dog full time by myself, I have had pet rats and used to borrow my mom’s dog frequently for adventures, as well as helping roommates with pets that I have lived with. I attended horse back riding camps and shows in my youth and have cared for horses off and on my whole life, as my sister is a horse owner. I am the first to point out (and probably talk to) any wildlife on a hike! :) I work remotely during regular business hours Monday-Friday, so I am available as long as you have reliable wifi! Please feel free to reach out at any time—I look forward to hearing from you (and meeting your pets!). I am happy to check in on your pets diligently. I provide lots of photos and info about each visit. For your pets’ peace of mind, I would likely rather stay at your home with them to keep them most comfortable and in a familiar environment while you are away. I am a very respectful houseguest. I clean up after myself as much as possible—I don’t want to require any extra work from you after returning home!

“This was my first time using Rover and I brought our dog Roxie to Natasha because she had so many good reviews already and photos so I could see where Roxie would be rating and playing. She was amazing to talk to right away and answered all my questions quickly. She is very easy going and when I brought Roxie for the first time for an overnight she let her get acclimated to the house and the other dogs which I thought was great. She has a perfect set up and it was very easy to see how Roxie would feel right at home. Natasha sent me pictures along the visit so I could see how Roxie was adjusting and she took her to run and play at the park which is fantastic for my active Lab. I highly recommend Natasha and when Roxie came home she was so relaxed and happy. I could tell she had a good visit and lots of fun with the pack.”

As this was our first time working with Anlin, I was a bit nervous about such an extended stay, but he put me completely at ease the moment we met. We had our two fully-grown Labrador Retrievers stay with her for more than two weeks when we went on vacation, and I think our babies really miss her, her dog Cannoli, her house and the other dogs she was dog-sitting at the time.
