A typical day
A typical day with a pet in my care is designed to keep them engaged, relaxed, and feeling secure in a calm, home-like environment. For cats, this usually includes interactive play sessions with wand toys, lasers, or balls to let them exercise and express natural hunting instincts, followed by plenty of quiet cuddle or nap time in cozy, stress-free spots around the home. I also incorporate routine activities like feeding, brushing, and light grooming, and can add bathing or nail clipping for cats that tolerate it well, so they stay comfortable and well cared for. Throughout the day, I rotate between play, rest, and gentle attention based on each pet’s personality, making sure they feel safe, loved, and never left unattended in the dedicated pet-friendly space.
