I will always discuss your pet’s routine and needs with you before booking to make sure my schedule is a good fit. I care for every pet according to their established routine, personality, comfort level, and household rules. Before care begins, I make sure I understand feeding instructions, medications, walking routines, triggers, hiding places, emergency contacts, and any safety concerns. I strive to be consistent and dependable, communicate clearly, and keep you updated while you are away. In a client’s home, I treat both the pets and the space with care and respect. I monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, bathroom habits, or overall well-being and will contact you promptly if anything seems unusual. I can also board apartment-friendly dogs who are calm and safe around cats. Because I have a senior tripod cat, her safety and comfort are essential. Boarding requests will need to be a good match for a shared apartment environment, and I will carefully discuss your dog’s history with cats, behavior indoors, routine, and supervision needs before confirming.

About: I volunteered at a dog fostering agency called DPS for a year- which dealt with taking care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I love dogs and have one of my own from the very agency I worked with! My dog is always at home and needs a lot of attention as shes gotten older. The responsibility is divided as my parents are also home often to take care of her. But when I was volunteering I would be with dogs for 5 hours every other weekend! I can follow any dietary guidelines for dogs and can definitely take them for a walk or run if they need it. I love to play with dogs, but be assured that I will not move if your dog would much rather just curl up against someone.

I love getting the chance to connect with a furbaby and take them for fun walks, grooming them, playtime, or just keep them company and lounge if they are more low-key! I have also owned dogs my whole life (Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle mix, and currently a 3-year old Cattle Dog mix. I have great experience with an array of different pet types and personalities. One time I house sat and took care for a dog, cat, two goats, and ten chickens.
