Hi! I’m Gemma, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs through Rover, house sitting, and growing up with dogs of my own. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m very active, so whether your dog loves long walks, hikes, playing fetch, or just relaxing with someone nearby, I’m happy to match their energy. I also have experience with reactive dogs, senior dogs, puppies, and dogs with different routines, so I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I know how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean, and send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Gemma means well, I’m sure, but she did not communicate well about what was happening during her 3 night stay with my pet and the result was a severe wound on my pets back hind that was bleeding when I arrived home and ultimately a $674 vet bill. When I asked to talk on the phone with Gemma to understand what happened, she declined a call to discuss it so I could learn more.
We recently had Gemma stay with our 5 yo lab for a couple of days. Not only did she take great care of Macie, but she also left our home clean and neat! Would not hesitate to have her care for Macie again in the future!
I highly recommend Gemma to anyone looking for a dog sitter. She took great care of our dog and home and gave us updates throughout the stay. Thank you for helping us out!

Gemma really took good care of our senior dog. She went above and beyond and took good care of our apartment as well. I enjoyed the banana bread she made for us. I would definitely recommend Gemma and appreciate everything she did for us.

Pet care is something I intentionally schedule my week around. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide consistent care and stick closely to your pet’s routine. Whether it’s walks, meals, playtime, medications, or overnight stays, I make sure your pet receives the attention and care they deserve.

I treat every pet as if they were my own and every home with the utmost respect. I carefully follow your pet’s routine, keep doors and gates secure, and pay close attention on walks and around other animals. I always leave your home clean and tidy, provide regular photo updates, and communicate promptly so you can feel confident your pet is in safe, caring hands.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor my care to their personality and energy level. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing fetch, enrichment games, relaxing at home, or plenty of cuddle time, I’m happy to follow their routine. My goal is to keep your pet active, comfortable, and happy while maintaining the schedule they’re used to.
