Many years ago I worked as a vet tech. I have been involved withwildlife and pet rescue literally all my life. I have successfully raised a few well-mannered, helpful and obedient dogs. My pups always have chores (ie: retrieving the newspaper, carrying in groceries, helping with yard work). I do my best to keep everything consistent for your fur babies. I try to keep to your normal routine and use your terminology and commands. Everyone so far has been pretty consistent ("sit, stay, off, leave it, release, etc) so I haven't needed to change up my vocabulary much. If you have multiple pets please ask me about adjusting the rates for each additional pet over 3. I can usually make adjustments.

Denise took good care of our two dogs and our home while we were out of town. She kept us informed regularly with pupdates so we knew all was well. We look forward to having her watch them again!

Thank you for watching Calla and Jasper! They are too strong dogs each with some unique needs, and you made sure they were happy and kept company while we were gone.
Denise was great! The meet and greet was smooth, communication was quick, and we were able to confirm with her that she was still coming a few days before her stay at our house (we have had other sitters bail at the last minute in the past). While here, she stayed in contact with us and sent a few pictures. We appreciated that we weren’t bombarded with tons of photos, but enough to feel reassured that the pets were safe and in good hands. She left the house tidy and the pets happy! Will book Denise again when we need her.
Denise was very sweet with my dog and cat. Super communicative and flexible to make arrangements with.

Schedule
I am retired, therefore, able to devote all of my time to the pets and home that I am caring for. I love to garden so pulling weeds makes me happy. Lately, I have been making terreriums so you could come home to a needless yard and a jar full of plants. If you have a junk drawer or closer you'd like organized, leave me a list. Much more fun to organize your junk drawer than mine!

I do my best to keep anxiety to a minimum and fun to the max. I want your pets to associate your suitcase with a fun time with me vs missing you. No matter how much fun I give them, they will still be overjoyed when you return. As it should be!
A typical day
I try to keep pets entertained with play and training. If there are specific behaviors you are working on, I will do my best to continue with your training. Otherwise, it's just having fun and staying engaged. New cat toys are usually a hit. Cats will be cats as you know. Walks and re-enforcing any training you are working on keep me and the dogs out of trouble.
