I have dog- & cat-sat and walked dogs for friends and family, off and on for decades. I respect and strive to maintain your training and behavioral standards. In my experience, dogs live to please us and get it right -- and get a reward. :-) I relish seeing sociable pooches' delight when I take them to the dog park to chase balls and play with new friends. I enjoy each and every walk through the neighborhood just to see who's out and wanting to say "hi!" (read: "woof!"). I know how important a routine can be, so I do my utmost to adhere to yours, so that pooch who misses you will have the least possible other disruptions to their sensibility. ;-)

When out and about, I routinely ask other dog-walkers for permission or an invitation before letting your pups introduce themselves. I am highly conscious of door and fence/gate hygiene, either at your home or at the dog park. And while at that dog park or on those walks, I strive to never mix leashed dogs with unleashed dogs, so as to minimize any power imbalances. At mealtime, I monitor a chubby pooch with a slow metabolism to make sure he doesn't partake of his slim & trim buddy's leftovers. I appreciate and adhere to the routines you've established for your pet. I like to build trust and reinforce cooperation & good behavior by asking dogs for a "shake" or "sit" or "down" before rewarding them with a treat.

Elizabeth was great to work with! She was very communicative and proactive and seemed to do great with our kitties! The house was left super clean and neat and we’re looking forward to working with her again in the future 🥰
Elizabeth was fantastic with our pup! Elizabeth took the time to make sure she understood our dogs needs and routines to make the whole experience the best she could. Elizabeth was super responsive and made sure we were kept informed on how our dog was doing. We will 100% use Elizabeth anytime we need to leave our dog.
Elizabeth was absolutely lovely! We had a wonderful meet and greet, Carly took to her immediately and she doesn't do that with everyone. Elizabeth checked in and sent photos. When I got home it was clear that she had taken wonderful care of my pup. I will absolutely have her again.
We had Elizabeth watch the pom pack again, this time for 7 nights. As always, Elizabeth did a great job, keeping them on a routine, walking them regularly and giving me updates throughout the week. I highly recommend Elizabeth for peace of mind while you are on vacation.

Elizabeth is the ultimate professional - she took wonderful care of my house and pup while I was gone. She also sent really fun and lovely photos and updates of Bertie’s activities. Bertie was super happy and relaxed when we got home as well. Elizabeth will be my go to for all pet and house sitting in the future.
