Before Rover: In 2018, I started house/dogsitting a Labrador over the holidays, house sat with a cat for a duration of 4 months when her owner was out of the country. Between 2020 to 2022, via in-network, I've looked after an additional 5 dogs and 1 cat for various households. Now with Rover, I've met many more pets and learned more of their quirks. I'm not a trainer and do not have any special certification, but have provided care services for pets ranging from super active (walks, runs, routine play-time), special diet, administered oral medication and injection, and attended to various special needs.

*I have been vaccinated with the flu and COVID shots. I required a meet n greet with all new bookings to make sure a) acquaint myself with you and the pets, b) walk through quirks of the environment that I will provide my care services. I'd appreciate details regarding safety procedures and owners’ expectations. I follow owners’ instructions when it comes to pet care. The goal is to maintain the pets' normal routine as much as possible when you're not home with them. In the case of an emergency, I can take the pet to their veterinarian. I keep owners updated, even if it’s just cute pictures, but let me know if you prefer not to be bombarded!

Mai Err was fantastic! We needed someone to stay home with our cat since he just had surgery. She was able to do his Physical Therapy and keep him company. We really appreciated her regular updates :) and would not hesitate to rebook!
Mai has been taking care of my 2 dogs for awhile and is always great with them! Her communication is appreciated. The doggos love her!
Mai Err is hands down the best sitter we've had! She really took her time to understand our dogs' feeding routines, and they both loved her. Not only did she take amazing care of our babies, but she left the house nice and clean. I highly recommend Mai Err and would be thrilled to book her again next time we're out of town. Mai was great with our dogs. I am glad I found Mai so we could have a peace of mind when we travel. She communicated well and was realiable. She also left our house neat and clean. We will definitely get her services again.
Mai Err did a fabulous job of taking care of Dolly and our home while we were away. Mai Err was very responsive, took excellent care of Dolly, including multiple walks every day, giving pills and injections and lots of love. I could tell by the pictures Mai Err sent us, that Dolly was relaxed and very content. Mai Err also watered our plants inside and out, which is a piece of work, and left our house clean and neat. I would highly recommend Mai Err - you will not be disappointed.
We are so grateful to have found Mai! She takes such great care of our dogs and home every time we’re away. Our dogs absolutely love her, and it gives us peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. Mai follows all our instructions carefully, asks for clarification when needed, and keeps us updated throughout her stay. Plus, she always leaves the house spotless! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, responsible, and caring dog sitter.

Zeitplan
I am employed full-time (and remote), so please understand I am providing pet care on Rover as a side gig. Preferred to drop-in/out before 9am, during lunch, or after 5pm for most bookings. Preferred one-off bookings (if you're going on vacation) over consistent bookings due to unexpected out-of-town trips. Recently moved to San Jose from Sacramento. I will require Sacramento clients to book at least 3 days. For San Jose clients, I won't be able to be booked more than 1.5 months ahead, in the case of required travelling to Sacramento or out of town (for my full time job).
