Your Pet’s New Best Friend
Hi, I’m Alison! I’ve grown up around both dogs and cats and have 15+ years of hands-on pet care experience. Throughout undergrad and grad school, I regularly dog sat for families, and I’ve continued caring for both dogs and cats for housemates and friends. I’m comfortable with a range of temperaments and routines, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and providing companionship. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter for years, which helped me build experience and attentiveness with animals of different personalities. I always prioritize your dog’s safety and wellbeing, and I am flexible in aligning with your pet’s specific care instructions. I offer new clients 1 complimentary meet-n-greet, either in person or via phone/video call. During our meet-n-greet we'd go over your pets' care instructions, a tour of your home, and make sure that we're both a good fit. I also ask my clients to type up care instructions and emergency contacts so that I can give your pets the optimal care. Expect lots of photos of your pet while you’re away!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure in their environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any specific preferences your pet has. I’m very mindful of home safety as well—making sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, and that your pet is always supervised appropriately. I keep spaces clean and respect your home as if it were my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Alison was great to work with. You can tell she’s thorough by the questions she asks and updates she shares. My dog Penny was able to warm up with her which is not an easy feat.
Allison is a wonderful pet sitter. She visited our home twice daily to feed and play with our two dogs. She was reliable, attentive, and the dogs clearly enjoyed her company. Highly recommended! We will definitely hire her again!

Alison was a tremendous help when I had to go out of town, and my usual sitter wasn't available. She was reliable, sent me daily updates, and made sure Minerva, my cat, was getting the best care. Minerva can sometimes be shy, but took to Alison immediately. If you need a kind and attentive pet-sitter, look no further!

Schedule
I’m currently available on weekday evenings and weekends, with some flexibility for midday visits, depending on location. I’m happy to work with your schedule, and will do my best to accommodate your pets needs.
