“Despite me making an appointment with very short notice, Mamoo was super responsive and suggested doing a meet & greet the same night I made the booking, to be ready for the walk the next morning. When they met, my dog, Hanoi, was pretty nervous, barking defensively for some reason, but Mamoo handled it to perfection, allowing Hanoi to control the interaction, without Mamoo losing the role of authority. “Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There's always been a cat curled up somewhere or a dog waiting by the door, and taking care of them has never felt like a chore to me. It's just what I do. I work from home, so I'm around a lot during the day and can usually work around your schedule, even for midday visits or last-minute plans. If I'm looking after your pet, you'll hear from me. I like sending updates and photos so you actually get to see how your dog or cat is doing, not just a generic "all good" message. I'm new to Rover, but pets have never been new to me. I'll take care of yours the way I'd want someone to take care of my own. I work remotely, which means I'm home most days and have some flexibility built into my schedule. I can usually fit in midday drop-ins, walks between meetings, or last-minute visits that a lot of sitters with traditional 9-to-5 jobs can't accommodate. Afternoons and evenings tend to be my most open windows, but I'm generally easy to reach and can adjust as needed. I treat your space and your pet's routine with respect. I follow the feeding, medication, and care instructions you provide exactly as given, and I keep your home secure the whole time I'm there. I pay close attention to your pet's body language and comfort level, especially with cats or nervous dogs who need a little more patience before they warm up to someone new. If anything seems off with your pet or your home while I'm there, I'll let you know right away.

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own! About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 13 and have experience taking care of up to 4 dogs or 3 cats at one time. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and energy levels, from older dogs needing medication and extra attention to younger, hyper dogs who need long walks, playtime, and exercise. About: Ever since I was born I’ve been taking care of animals. From fostering baby kittens to taking care of my grandparents old dogs. I’m well experienced in grooming and cleaning up messes as well as taking energetically dogs for very long walks. I’ve dealt with it all and I can say I have loved every single animal I’ve cared for. I’m currently working from home, so I’m available all hours of the day. I’m very comfortable with getting up early to take care of early birds. About: Hi !! I started house-sitting for my family members pets since high school. Since then, I have been recommended by many close friends of my family and I'm excited to branch out further into the Bay Area ! I have cared for pets of all ages, including several senior animals that I still regularly work with. Along with dogs and cats, I also have some experience with reptile care ! A lot of the clients I've worked with know me for my calm disposition when it comes to animals, so even the most anxious pets will feel safe in my care !! I am currently working at home working as a self-employed artist, so I should be available to care for your pets most days of the week! For walks and drop-ins I am available from 9am-4pm during the weekdays, and full time during weekends! Pets are a part of the family just as much as everyone else, so I like to treat them with the same courtesy! Since I mostly work on my laptop, I usually stick to staying home when I petsit, so your pets will have my company as much as possible! If your pet is more on the active side I will do my absolute best to fulfill their needs--I may not the most active person but I am no stranger to long walks and park playdates :) !

My family and I founded a sanctuary for animals in Washington State that the SPCA recognized. We rescued, rehabilitated, trained, and provided education classes for the care and proper nutrition of all creatures, great and small. We have worked tirelessly with the SPCA for the welfare and prevention of animal cruelty and care. So whether you are traveling for work, relocating or pleasure we are here to help care for your fur baby. I am a single grandmother raising my only granddaughter, I wanted her to experience the unconditional love God's creatures can bring to her daily life. I am blessed to have my granddaughter work alongside me in this business venture. Rover has allowed me to grow my passion and experience into a loving home business in the Bay area area I am a home-based professional dog care specialist so I can be a hands-on grandmother while raising my granddaughter. About: What can I say, I am an absolute animal lover! and I am sure your dog would have a great time with me! I have had animals my whole life and love to shower them with care and affection! I am local teacher with a lot of extra time on my hands for the summer. I love to go on long hikes and adventures or just hangout in my grassy fenced in backyard. Whatever your pet desires, I can make it happen! I live alone but do share my yard with two cats. Not only do I have years of owning my own pets, I also have years of experience volunteering at animal shelters. Working there I have learned some behavioral training techniques, though I am not fully a professional trainer. I am a full time teacher with summers off. I am single with no kids. I have availability in the mornings & afternoons and full availability in the summer. I have a fenced in yard and a pet friendly environment inside my house with no other pets.
