About: I grew up with a dog for 18 years, watching him go from playful pup to wise old boy. I've experienced every stage of a dog's life firsthand — young, middle-aged, and senior — so I'm comfortable and caring no matter your dog's age I am able to walk dogs and do drop-in visits. I have a flexible schedule at the moment, so I can adjust to you and your pet's needs! I Since I offer dog walking, most of my care happens out in the neighborhood. I always keep dogs secure on leash, stay attentive, and make sure every walk is safe and enjoyable.

About: Hi! My name is Megan, and I'm a college student home for the summer with a flexible schedule thanks to my online classes. I'm a huge animal lover—especially cats—which is why you'll notice a lot of my photos are with cats! I've been caring for my mom's boss's cats for the past 1–2 years, and I've also helped care for and walk my friends' dogs. On top of that, I've owned guinea pigs for over 5 years, so I'm comfortable caring for pets of all kinds. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I may be younger than some sitters, but I'm dependable, patient, and genuinely excited to gain more experience doing something I love. Pet sitting is also helping me fund my college education, so I truly appreciate every pet parent, their booking, and the trust that comes with it. When your pet is with me, I'll treat them like they're my own. I'll follow your instructions carefully, keep their routine consistent, and send plenty of photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. About: I am a responsible, nurturing and kind individual who loves all animals. I have owned small dogs, large dogs, a cat, aquatic pets, and taken care of many of my friends', family members' pets and been referred to many to care for their dogs and cats. In my last relationship I took full responsibility for three large dogs, one which was a rescue adopted as a puppy, (feeding, administering medications, training, exercise, bathing, grooming, vet visits) for about 5 years. I am currently working part-time and taking a break from school while I prepare to apply to a health profession program. This gives me a very open and flexible schedule, allowing me to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and overnight care. Because of my flexible availability, I can devote plenty of time and attention to your pet, ensuring they stay on their normal routine with regular walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and lots of love and companionship. I provide loving, reliable pet care in your home using your pet's own supplies to help keep their routine as normal as possible. I use the food, treats, toys, bedding, leashes, litter, medications, and any other pet essentials you provide, so I don't bring my own pet supplies. This helps your pet stay comfortable in their familiar environment while you're away. I live in a quiet, small neighborhood with about 0.75 acres of yard space and keep a clean, tidy home with plenty of room for pets to roam and relax. If boarding or daycare is arranged at my home, I will use any pet supplies you provide to maintain your pet's routine and comfort. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine, I'll follow your instructions closely and treat your pet like family, giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and affection.

“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own! I can care for your pets in your home- the least stressful for them! Or take them to a park, hikes, or a leisurely walk. About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There's always been a cat curled up somewhere or a dog waiting by the door, and taking care of them has never felt like a chore to me. It's just what I do. I work from home, so I'm around a lot during the day and can usually work around your schedule, even for midday visits or last-minute plans. If I'm looking after your pet, you'll hear from me. I like sending updates and photos so you actually get to see how your dog or cat is doing, not just a generic "all good" message. I'm new to Rover, but pets have never been new to me. I'll take care of yours the way I'd want someone to take care of my own. I work remotely, which means I'm home most days and have some flexibility built into my schedule. I can usually fit in midday drop-ins, walks between meetings, or last-minute visits that a lot of sitters with traditional 9-to-5 jobs can't accommodate. Afternoons and evenings tend to be my most open windows, but I'm generally easy to reach and can adjust as needed. I treat your space and your pet's routine with respect. I follow the feeding, medication, and care instructions you provide exactly as given, and I keep your home secure the whole time I'm there. I pay close attention to your pet's body language and comfort level, especially with cats or nervous dogs who need a little more patience before they warm up to someone new. If anything seems off with your pet or your home while I'm there, I'll let you know right away.

Before the first walk, Pam came over to do a meet and greet and understand my dog’s behavior. She found an effective way to avoid the creativeness during their walks. About: I’m an adventure seeker who loves dogs, especially my maltipoo. I’m a Los Gatos native who grew up with dogs, and know how much attention and love they need. My husband and I have been on Rover for 4 years and have taken care of many dogs. A meet and greet is usually best if we are boarding, since we do have our own dog. We like to take our pup kayaking, biking and hiking. We love the outdoors and enjoy hanging out with pooches!🐶 I’m currently working part time from home and have lots of time on my hands for walks. I can go on multiple walks a day and my husband works from home 2 days a week. I have a single family home with a fenced back yard in the hills of Los Gatos. I have a 5lb 5yr old maltipoo. Dogs are allowed on the couch but not bed. I am responsible and clean if you need me to stay at your home. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and on flea medication. Meet and greet is preferred before boarding.

About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! If there are behaviours you’d like to work on or would like me to be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss them further. I am available for full time pet care, I am also available for part time + available to board if needed. There has not been an hour where I have not been in the company of 1 or more dogs since 2015. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to go potty and run uninhibited. I have a small scale toy and treat business which means the dogs will have plenty to keep them occupied and if he/she would like to go home with their favourites, we can arrange for that too. I am capable of pickup and drop off as well as supervised visits to the park, creeks, the beach, trails, etc.

About: What can I say, I am an absolute animal lover! and I am sure your dog would have a great time with me! I have had animals my whole life and love to shower them with care and affection! I am local teacher with a lot of extra time on my hands for the summer. I love to go on long hikes and adventures or just hangout in my grassy fenced in backyard. Whatever your pet desires, I can make it happen! I live alone but do share my yard with two cats. Not only do I have years of owning my own pets, I also have years of experience volunteering at animal shelters. Working there I have learned some behavioral training techniques, though I am not fully a professional trainer. I am a full time teacher with summers off. I am single with no kids. I have availability in the mornings & afternoons and full availability in the summer. I have a fenced in yard and a pet friendly environment inside my house with no other pets. When at other houses I treat them with care and respect.
