About: Hi! I’m Angelika, and I absolutely love spending time with animals of all kinds. I’ve loved animals my whole life. Growing up, our family home was full of pets, from rodents like mice, guinea pigs, rats, and hamsters, to rabbits, cats, turtles, parrots, and a dog I adored who passed away three years ago. I’ve walked and cared for dogs and cats since childhood, including helping my grandmother and neighbors with their pets, walking them and spending time with them whenever needed. Right now I don’t have a pet of my own because I’m traveling a lot, but I’d love to help care for other people’s furry friends. I’m responsible, attentive, and I love spending time with animals. About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets.
