7. Vanessa R.
“Vanessa cared for my two senior dogs and they were in such good hands. She was able to connect with my timid terrier mix and after a few days he adored her and she also befriended our aloof Chihuahua mix who also loved her. We felt so comforted that Vanessa was caring for them. Vanessa is also a very honest and friendly. We felt we had known her for a long time after just a few conversations with her. She was quick to catch on to our household and especially the schedules our dogs were used to. We were lucky that she pet sat for us. Cheryl D”

About: I got my first dog when I was four. Since then, I have worked for Rover before And also pet sat numerous animals. I will take care of your furry baby like he or she was my own and probably end up spoiling the little bugger, unless you have any strict training or anything going on. I will respect your parenting styles and rules to a T. I believe so many humans don’t truly understand how much animals mean and change about our world. I look forward to working with your beautiful dog or cat and making them feel like home while you’re unable to :) I am currently working on getting a book published so I have pretty much all the time in the world in my hands but also no time at all if you know what I mean. It’s really hard to get into the field I find that working with animals Helps keep me inspired And also helps make some money along the way. I have a teenager 10 year old that will most likely be here so they also enjoy the time as beautiful and wonderful cat giraffe passed away just this last year. It’s been a Tough transition Having other animals around, keep our spirits up while we go through this new life we are building in the Santa Cruz Mountains We treat our animals Like they are family. I do understand that some families have certain rules like begging at the table or if they need to go to a walk a certain amount of times a day, training etc, so I will accommodate and honor your requests to every detail. I respect pets and owners needs and wishes to a T.

12. Ariana C.

13. Shannon C.
“Shannon is very kind hearted person and a great pet caregiver. My dog loves her overnight stays with Shannon. I have a very active Aussie who requires lots of attention. Shannon ensures that my dog receives proper attention and playtime. I have left my pup under Shannon's care many times with confidence.”

14. Anais M.
About: Hello! I’m Anais, I am currently a college student at UCSC and look forward to taking care of your pups. I have grown up with all sorts of dogs. From chihuahuas to german shepherds, I love them all. I have always taken care of family dogs and make sure they are loved and cherished. Once my dog Kai was attacked I gave him all the care like wrapping and cleaning his wound so he would be able to heal properly and go back to running outside. I am a very active person whether it’s walking/running by the beach or around the block. Every pup has their own needs and I will be able to compromise around that. I want your pup to feel as comfortable as possible. My schedule is very open and I will always be clear about that. Your pups will be my #1 priority as I have a deep love for them. Because I am a college student and am living at a dorm, I will only be able to do dog walking and caregiving. I am in school at UCSC but my schedule is open everyday. I have classes 8-9am tuesdays and thursday and 1:25-3pm monday and wednesdays. I will only take jobs that I know I will be able to satisfy. I offer services at my clients home and I will ask for a note a location of things I will need to access during my time with your pup! I will keep the routine that you currently have with your pup to make sure that your pup is as comfortable as possible!

15. Bianca P.

“Bianca is great!”

16. Amanda A.
About: I have experience with training puppies and have experience with cats and dogs. I had a beloved cat, Tyrone, for 20 years and also a wonderful golden retriever, Sunshine, for almost 13 years. I recently fostered a puppy, and did so much research on training and got her crate trained plus several commands down pat in under 2 weeks! I also have experience with senior dogs and know all the tricks with using diapers to help with unwanted potty breaks. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule. I work CST hours so I am always available after 3pm. I can work really from anywhere so can walk at varied times of the day. I have open space right next to my house and am close to many trails and parks! I am happy to run or walk your pet or just play and keep them company for a little bit. I don’t have a animal of my own so will definitely give all the cuddles, as long as they are open to that!

17. Robin A.
“Robin has been the most love caregiver to my pet Alan. She has been continuously watchful, sweet, aware, and details around his needs, and send lots of photo updates while I’m gone and missing him. I appreciate her thoughtfulness, awareness and overall love for my cat, whenever she helps us with him. She is the best, and HIGHLY recommend her!!”

18. Marissa V.
“Rizzie is great with animals and is a very caring pet caretaker (especially with cats). I would recommend her to others looking for general pet services.”

19. Erica W.
“Erica was great was our pups! She loves animals and spoils them like her own. She went above and beyond by taking them to the park and on walks while they were at day care. We feel good knowing our dogs were in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Erica to care for your pet care needs!”

20. Deanna S.
“I have had Deanna take care of my dog Leia for afternoon visits while I was at work and for pet sitting while I was away on trips. Deanna is very connected to the animals she cares for and has done a lot of training with Leia to get her to focus on the human when walking and being distracted by bicycles or skateboards that make her nervous. She will always send me photos of Leia while visiting and working with her. I would definitely recommend Deanna for any pet sitting / dog walking needs you might have.”
