I have nearly 10 years of experience as an Adoption Coordinator and volunteer foster with a nonprofit dog rescue in San Diego. During that time, I cared for dogs of all breeds, ages, personalities, and behavioral needs, including many challenging cases that required patience, consistency, careful observation, and individualized care. I worked closely with professional trainers and helped dogs build confidence, improve their manners, and prepare for successful adoptions. About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends, relatives and clients for years. Our house is their pets’ second home when they travel or need us. I can do the same for you, too. During the weekend I am mostly home. Weekdays, I partially work from office and home. There is plenty of time to spend time with your pet or walk them frequently. My husband works from home full time, so there is always one or two adults at home. We live in a single house with a fenced backyard, and there is a big greenbelt right outside our backyard ( see images). Therefore it’s very convenient for frequent walks or play time for your pet. They can also meet other dogs as well. As a family, we are comfortable with being around furry friends. We volunteer with my daughters at a local farm cleaning, caring, patting…. Love it! Our own cat-Zeytin is very calm and friendly. We love to play, walk, cuddle, spend some quiet time with our pet and guest pets and will do the same with yours, too. About: I have two small dogs (maltipoo’s) of my own and have cared for my relatives/family friends furbabies often. I’m most experienced with smaller dogs however I’m willing to learn to care for any type of pet/species. I’m currently home full time and so my schedule is very flexible at the moment! I understand everyone has different concerns so I’m more than happy to accommodate as best I can. I live in a townhome so there’s a small backyard area. The area is safe with lots of families and dog owners in the neighborhood. I’m open to long walks, short walks, sniffari’s, drop ins, etc. Inside of my home, the garbage is enclosed within a pull out trash bin so dogs aren’t likely to get through. Cleaning and vacuuming happens regularly so there are minimal hairballs or choking hazards. The doggie gate is located along the stairs in case we need to keep them in a dedicated area but usually it’s left open for the doggies to roam free (as they are potty trained). Feeding is done in different areas so no resource guarding takes place. We have a large crate that the dogs treat at their personal home, they go in and out as they please. I like to keep their potty breaks on a schedule as well as feeding time and the air purifier runs constant.
