I have had dogs my whole life and devastatingly our last two pups passed through the rainbow bridge in 2024. My family still has room in our heart and our house for for your dog(s), so boarding and dog sitting is now our passion. This was our second time having Sera take care of our two cats, Lyra and Plum, and she did an outstanding job! We had for her 2 1-hour visits per day, and those longer visits really helped solidify our cats’ growing bond with Sera. Like many cats, ours can take a little time to warm up to people they don’t know well. While our babies were still a little shy at first, they warmed up to her quickly, and it was clear Sera made a concerted effort to facilitate that. She was attuned to their body language and knew when they wanted pets, play time, or just a little quiet company. Sera warmly offered them affection while still making space for them to accept her offers of pets and scritches on their own terms. She played with their favorite toys and gave them special Churu treats to help build that positive association to her, which went a long way in helping our cats feel comfortable with her. Within a couple of visits, we were seeing adorable photos of our cats greeting Sera at the door, rubbing up against her, and flopping over to show her their bellies! A clear sign of trust, lovingly cultivated through Sera’s patient and attuned care! She also takes the BEST pictures. Sera was also attentive with the food, water, litter boxes, and our home in general. When we got home, the litter boxes had been freshly scooped, the areas around the litter boxes were swept and tidy, and their water fountains were full with water from a bottle of filtered water we asked her to use. She even took out our kitchen trash, which we had accidentally forgotten to do before leaving, and replaced the bag! By the time we got home, we noticed our cats were shedding much less than they normally do when we come home from a trip— a subtle but telling sign that Sera was giving them lots of pets and love! We highly recommend Sera and would be happy to hire her again in the future!
It's so nice to be able to totally trust Luna with my two Maine Coon cats. Her level of care along with her professionalism is exceptional. While I'm on vacation I get her photo/video updates. My cats always seem relaxed with her. When I get home from vacation I can see it around my house. The clean floor around their food dishes. The well kept litter box area. Well fed and happy cats. She's always sure to contact me with any updates. I would heartily recommend her to any potential clients. I'm happy to have her in my cat's lives.
Once again, Serenity and her partner were outstanding. Serenity is so attentive and keeps me updated throughout each and every visit. You can tell that they are animal lovers through and through! I've used Serenity and her partner three times now and will definitely be using them again in the future. I always leave feeling confident that my boys are in good hands.
