“Christa takes good care of my kitties. I can relax knowing she is hanging out with them. The pictures show me how comfortable they are with her. They are less anxious when she cares for them.”

“Lara is great! She's reliable and has good instincts. She gradually was able to have my cat be approached, petted, and played with. I felt relieved knowing she was there, taking good care of my kitty. I will definitely hire her again.”

About: I have lived in Boulder Creek with my wife for 11 years with our dogs, so I am familiar with living in the mountains with pets. I adopted our dog Huck from the SFSPCA. I fell in love with him at first sight! I took him to puppy school at Living with Dogs and he became such a sweet friendly dog. About a year later I adopted Mojo from the SFSPCA so Huck would have a little brother to play with. I brought Mojo home and he and Huck immediately became the best of friends. 🐾 I walk my dogs every morning for about 30 minutes in my neighborhood and for a special treat I often take the dogs to a trail. I love making sure they are active and happy. I also have experience walking my friends two high energy heelers. 🐾 Besides my two fur babies I have a Leopard Gecko named Django and he is 17 years old! I also love cats which have always been part of my family. Through the years I have owned and cared for many pets and animals. 🐾 I am a reliable and genuine dog person looking to help others by offering dog walking and drop in visits to care for their dog, cats, or any other pets and animals that need attention and care. 🐾 New to Rover? “Jenni was a great sitter. She took excellent care of my two cats while I was away and sent lots of communication each day with photos. I’d be happy to have Jenni take care of my pets in the future!”

“Aiyana did a great job and I'd happily book again. She was quick with responses during booking, sent me update pics while I was away, and the animals were happy and well when I got home.”

About: Love taking long walks or just playing in the yard. Have had a Jack Russell puppy who needed lots of attention and training. With outside help and the willingness to learn it was a good relationship. I work full time but can walk a dog in the morning and after work, if close enough lunchtime. Weekends I am available so my schedule is more opened. Cat Care would be the same. Could give the attention they crave. In the clients home, I would listen and be guided by what the pet needs are. With cats I would make sure to give them playtime while on my visit besides making sure they are properly feed.
“Kendra was able to help us out with a pretty last minute request and take care of our high energy pup and outdoor kitties. They all loved her! She is reliable and flexible and we'd be happy to have her back again...as would they! 🩷”

“Carmen has made several check ins with our two kitties and one dog. They love her, even our very shy kitty! Both of our kitties require meds and Carmen was able to give them their meds with no issues. I would highly recommend Carmen her love of animals is very evident.”

About: Hi, I'm Jenn! Having six years of experience as a vet tech, six years of experience caring for pets professionally, and caring for my personal furry companions animals for over 6o years, I bring an exceptional blend of experience, care, and responsibility to my pet care. I have a huge heart for cats and dogs and love to see them happy in their environment. My sensitive nature allows me to be highly attuned to animals and their needs. Others have often commented on my ability to anticipate the needs of people and animals before they are aware of them. I believe in the health and wellbeing of all living things. When your animal is under my care, you can be assured they are receiving the nurturing and care they deserve. I am available for walking, visits, boarding, and more. Please inquire for your particular needs and desires for your pet in your absence. I would be happy to keep your pet loved and safe while you are away. Injections, special needs, training/rehabilitation I am in a very open and expansive time currently in life. I am widely available round the clock for your pets needs. I am available daytime, evenings, and weekends. I do not have a fenced yard on the property I live on in the country, so when boarding with me, dogs will be on leash when outdoors. They will enjoy the many walks they will have around here. When at your home, I take care of your fur baby and belongs with the utmost respect and safety.
“Erica was immediately responsive to what care I needed for my new puppy. She does a great job in communicating with me and discerning the needs of my puppy when she comes to care for her. “Sara was amazing with our three cats when we went out of town. She spent time playing with all of them even our grumpy hard to find kitty. She kept us updated on the weather so we could make sure they kept cool during a surprise heatwave and made sure we knew all the changes in the house while we were gone. I highly recommend her to care for your pets, she truly treats them as her own.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Brackney
It's so nice to be able to totally trust Luna with my two Maine Coon cats. Her level of care along with her professionalism is exceptional. While I'm on vacation I get her photo/video updates. My cats always seem relaxed with her. When I get home from vacation I can see it around my house. The clean floor around their food dishes. The well kept litter box area. Well fed and happy cats. She's always sure to contact me with any updates. I would heartily recommend her to any potential clients. I'm happy to have her in my cat's lives.

Once again, Serenity and her partner were outstanding. Serenity is so attentive and keeps me updated throughout each and every visit. You can tell that they are animal lovers through and through! I've used Serenity and her partner three times now and will definitely be using them again in the future. I always leave feeling confident that my boys are in good hands.

Carmen has made several check ins with our two kitties and one dog. They love her, even our very shy kitty! Both of our kitties require meds and Carmen was able to give them their meds with no issues. I would highly recommend Carmen her love of animals is very evident.

Bianca took wonderful care of our two cats and kept us updated the whole time, which gave us real peace of mind. Everything was clean and calm when we returned, and it was clear our cats were comfortable and well cared for. We’d happily book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive sitter.
Kayla was so knowledgeable and helpful! She really put my anxious mind at ease while travelling away from my cat, Bella. She provided me with tips for caring for my pet, communicated exceptionally throughout the entire process, and went above and beyond by trimming Bella's nails and playing with her. She also has a great attitude! I would highly recommend her if you are a first time user on Rover or for any of your animal's needs.

Sera is the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had! She was absolutely wonderful with our 2 cats right from the meet-and-greet. She was extremely personable, professional, detail oriented, and a true cat lover. She took such sweet photos of our cats during her visits, which made it easier to be away from them. Thank you, Sera, for being the best in the biz!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brackney. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
