About: My entire family love animals so I have had a variety of pets throughout my life. I have had fish, a dog, a cat, and a turtle! I love pets and I would love to help others with theirs!!! I dog sit for my family members when they need me to. As a student I have a lot of flexibility in my day to day schedule to take care of pets! My longest classes are an hour and half. I make sure there’s spaces in my schedule to have time to check in on the pets I’m caring for. I care for pets in a very caring way, I am very patient and calm. I try to feel the pets vibe so I match their energy and not overwhelm them. I would say I am also a very playful person if the pet is open to play.
About: I took care of my pet cat for 15 years and have helped look after cats in my neighborhood since I was a little kid. I hope to one day have a kitty of my own again but in the meantime I promise to give your pets the quality care they deserve! I currently work part-time and go to college locally, so I have four days a week when I'm free to spend as much time with your pets as they need! I can definitely be flexible with scheduling, just send me the details :) I can put out food and water and clean litter boxes as well as basic grooming such as gentle brushing etc. If your cat has any specific dietary needs I can make sure those are accommodated as I take that seriously due to personal experience.

About: Ever since I was a child I was always an animal lover, and the animals had a sense that I was friendly. I have been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old, varying from dogs, cats, birds,lizards, to bunnies. This meaning I am experienced with walking, bathing, playing, and feeding your pets. I am a full time school, however am available most days during the early afternoon and nighttime. Typically around 11-3 and anything past 4 o'clock. Depends on the client. However, I do have a vehicle for transportation to use in times of emergency or new fun paths to explore with your dogs!

About: Love taking long walks or just playing in the yard. Have had a Jack Russell puppy who needed lots of attention and training. With outside help and the willingness to learn it was a good relationship. I work full time but can walk a dog in the morning and after work, if close enough lunchtime. Weekends I am available so my schedule is more opened. Cat Care would be the same. Could give the attention they crave. In the clients home, I would listen and be guided by what the pet needs are. With cats I would make sure to give them playtime while on my visit besides making sure they are properly feed.

Sera is the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had! She was absolutely wonderful with our 2 cats right from the meet-and-greet. She was extremely personable, professional, detail oriented, and a true cat lover. She took such sweet photos of our cats during her visits, which made it easier to be away from them. This was our second time having Sera take care of our two cats, Lyra and Plum, and she did an outstanding job! We had for her 2 1-hour visits per day, and those longer visits really helped solidify our cats’ growing bond with Sera. Like many cats, ours can take a little time to warm up to people they don’t know well. While our babies were still a little shy at first, they warmed up to her quickly, and it was clear Sera made a concerted effort to facilitate that. She was attuned to their body language and knew when they wanted pets, play time, or just a little quiet company. Sera warmly offered them affection while still making space for them to accept her offers of pets and scritches on their own terms. She played with their favorite toys and gave them special Churu treats to help build that positive association to her, which went a long way in helping our cats feel comfortable with her. Within a couple of visits, we were seeing adorable photos of our cats greeting Sera at the door, rubbing up against her, and flopping over to show her their bellies! A clear sign of trust, lovingly cultivated through Sera’s patient and attuned care! She also takes the BEST pictures. Sera was also attentive with the food, water, litter boxes, and our home in general. When we got home, the litter boxes had been freshly scooped, the areas around the litter boxes were swept and tidy, and their water fountains were full with water from a bottle of filtered water we asked her to use. She even took out our kitchen trash, which we had accidentally forgotten to do before leaving, and replaced the bag! By the time we got home, we noticed our cats were shedding much less than they normally do when we come home from a trip— a subtle but telling sign that Sera was giving them lots of pets and love! We highly recommend Sera and would be happy to hire her again in the future!
