About: I’ve owned cats my entire life and dogs for the past 8 years! I love playing with animals and am quite comfortable taking care of cats and dogs of all sizes. I’m currently acting in a local community theater show in Santa Cruz that rehearses 3 times a week. Outside of these 5 hour rehearsal blocks, I am completely free to stop by and check in with pets whenever needed. I am very careful about keeping doors and windows shut to ensure no pets get out of the house. I’m happy to clean up after your animals and make sure they feel safe with me in their space.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. Being with animals is a passion of mine! I am currently working at Animal Hospital of Soquel as a kennel tech. I Wouldn’t mind caring for other kinds of pets! About: I’m a 21 year old college graduate looking to fulfill her hopes of pet setting once again! Being a full time student meant busy weeks, leaving no time for pet care. Something I actively did before transferring to UCSC. But with this newfound, post-graduate freedom, I’m eager to get back into the gig. Besides caring for my own kitties, I’ve worked with 7 clients over the past four years. All of which have been dog sitting gigs, with one job including an additional 3 cats (if that makes sense haha). And in my time as a sitter I’ve had four consistent clients. Additionally, I’m more than willing to sit for most dogs/ cats regardless of age, size, energy level, etc. It is my job (and such a privilege) to ensure their needs are met! Worth a mention - I’ve not had any experience in pet training, but I’m committed to being the best companion to the little loves! I can’t wait to connect with you and your fur-babies! I’m hoping to fill my week days (which are fairly open as of late) with pet care! Connecting with animals is truly such a rewarding job. Knowing I can make your life easier, and also that your pets are happy fills my heart with oodles of joy. My housing agreement unfortunately states that I can’t allow pets on to the premises. However, I’m extremely comfortable staying in/ visiting other spaces. Being respectful of your space is one of my top priorities.

About: I’ve taken care of, and loved, animals since I was a child. Including my own family dog who is now 17, cats, chickens, and snakes. I recently graduated and am missing my puppy more than ever. While I can’t have pets of my own right now I’d love to help care for yours! I’m available afternoons, and evenings on weekdays, and all day on weekends. My work schedule is flexible and can be easily adapted to suit the needs of you and your pet. I have a fenced in yard and spacious house located within a lovely neighborhood with it’s own little hiking trail for your pet to explore.

“While I was away for the weekend, my sister-in-law unexpectedly was no longer able to care for my dog. I reached out to Mamu, and thankfully, they were available to drop in on short notice. Later, another emergency came up where we missed our connecting flight and couldn’t make it home for an extra day. I contacted Mamu again, and once more, they came through and were able to stop by and care for my dog with very short notice. I’m incredibly grateful for their flexibility and reliability, especially under these stressful situations.”

About: What can I say? I freaking love animals so much 🥰 I’m a proud dog mom to two pups so I know how hard it can be to leave your babies behind. That’s actually why I started using Rover to find a sitter but also realized I wanted to be that person for someone else. I’ll get to know your baby, their personality, routines, weird little quirks, and whatever makes them happy. Whether they want to run around and play, need a little extra patience, or just want to hang out next to me, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I’ll send you lots of pictures and updates too❤️ It’s not just another booking to me. About: I'm an actor who brings passion to everything I do. I want to run or play fetch or scratch the bellies of any and all the beautiful pups out there! Dogs have been apart of my life since I was 7, when we took in a stray basset hound named Scarlett. She was a kindred old soul. Because I travel a lot for work, I'm unable to have my own, but this is the next best thing! I've watched Chihuahuas and Golden Retrievers, old dogs barely able to leave the house and little pups who never wanted to stay inside. I've found that Black Labs are great to run lines with and Huskies actually love the sun! Whatever the needs, whatever the occasion, I am ready and game! I am a working freelance actor and writer for stage, film, and TV so my schedule is quite varied depending on what project I am working on at any given time. This does allow for a lot of flexibility in my routine. I have a deep passion for animal care and I can ensure that your pets will be as loved as possible while you are away.

About: I’ve grown up with pets most of my life. Dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, and even horses! I love teaching my dogs new tricks and skills, and trust me, even an old dog can learn new tricks! My family’s Vizsla is now 14 so I am no stranger to special care for senior dogs. I have previous overnight experience with regular families in my hometown with various dogs and cats. Happy to go on long walks, runs, potty breaks, scheduled feedings, and even bathing. Im no stranger to getting my hands dirty. Having horses meant constant upkeep, cleaning, exercise, and training. I’m an animal lover through and through, here to provide the care they deserve! I’m currently a full time student at UC Santa Cruz, but love staying active in my free time! Many of my classes are online so my day to day availability is very open! Long walks, potty breaks, and overnight stays can all fit into my schedule. In a clients home I respect all set boundaries for the safety of myself and your pets. I always try to leave everything in better condition than I found it. No problem crating, tidying up, or washing bowls after the pets needs are fulfilled. Making sure doors are locked, fences are shut, and instructions are followed closely are my top priorities.
