About: I have had the privilege of caring for my German Shepherd, Rex, for three years, which deepened my passion for working with animals. Over the past 5 years, I have also gained extensive experience through Rover, specializing in dog training, behavioral corrections, and structured care. My expertise includes addressing common challenges such as excessive barking, leash pulling, aggressive tendencies, and uncontrolled anxiety. I work closely with pups and pet parents to ensure continuity in the care and training methods their pets are accustomed to or can develop. I also work with other sitters to learn more about certain situations and how I may better myself as care giver and teacher! I currently doing Rove full time, allowing me to dedicate my time to training sessions, structured walks, and behavior-focused activities. I am currently finishing up my schooling online and building my business on the side. The pets I care for are treated like family. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each dog and their Kahu, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Whether working on obedience training, leash manners, or socialization, I prioritize creating a structured yet nurturing setting. All the while keeping you the parent’s schedule in mind and routine so that your pup go about their day in the best way possible!

About: I have owned animals for as long as I can remember, ranging from goats, to rabbits, to dogs, and cats. I am equipped in senior care due to my own senior cat, as well as my childhood dog (not living with me)! I have been pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and family for years and love doing it! I absolutely adore all critters and want more than anything to offer them a safe, comfortable, and fun space when their people are away! I'm currently a full time student at UCSC, but I'm only on campus a couple days a week, so I will have plenty of time to take care of animals I'm watching! I'm available most days of the week, save the afternoons and evenings on Thursdays, as well as Friday mornings. That being said, I am still more than happy to host your babies while I'm at school for a few hours! I have a lush, fenced in backyard that is perfect for some supervised outdoor/play time! I live with three cats, two of which are very friendly and love keeping other critters company! The third cat is my senior baby who prefers to keep to herself most of the time, but occasionally enjoys the company of elderly dogs!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for all my life. I can handle any pet, regardless of size or age. I love all animals and am very flexible when it comes to providing the care necessary to keep your pets happy! I’m a current UC Santa Cruz Junior studying Business Management Economics and working part time. I typically work Friday mornings and Saturday nights, however, I am flexible with my schedule in order to accommodate your pets when given enough notice! When I take care of pets, whether at my place or yours, I treat them like family. They get plenty of playtime, regular meals, and lots of attention! I also like to make sure owners are always up to date with how they’re pets are doing.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple breeds of dogs including Chow Chows and Cane Corsos in my life. Including assisting the care of more than 10+ chow puppies. About: I personally have cared for our various pets (including chickens) for many years and have been fortunate enough to watch over my friend’s animals as well. I am an experienced runner and am more than happy to run with your pets. For those less active, I love finding ways to provide enrichment and be a caring companion. I’m currently on break from college and taking a class on the side, so I have a very flexible schedule. Generally, I am available all week from 11am-9pm. Before leaving, I have a mental checklist to ensure a pets safety. This includes: all doors and gates are secured, nothing harmful is within reach, and they have water. I also ensure they have access to their ideal snuggle spot and toys are close by.

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: I used to pet sit very frequently in my neighborhood as well as volunteered at the local animal shelter. My family adopted a 6 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Nova a few years back and I was on the front lines for damage control (making sure nothing was being destroyed), feeding schedule, walks multiple times a day, and lots of cuddles. I took Nova to puppy training where she eventually graduated! (Yay Nova) I am currently a college student in the area but have a very flexible schedule and weekends open! I am happy to take furry friends of all ages and levels on long hikes on trails or just a quick stroll around the block. Potty breaks, playtime, and treats (if permitted) can also easily be fit into my schedule. I am here to help you and your dog to however makes you comfortable. I am here to watch intently and make sure your dog has a fun, comfortable time with someone who isn’t their immediate parent. I always keep a leash, water bowl, and blanket/towel in my car just in case!
