About: I've had dogs for over 10 years and have taken care of dogs and cats with all sorts of needs/medical care such as diabetic, arthritic and eye-sight impaired animals. I trained both of my dogs in agility and behavior classes so I have experience with training and extended behaviors. I volunteer at the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter and have taken multiple classes on dog behavior and dog walking safety. I am currently a UC Santa Cruz student but my schedule is fairly flexible since I commute/live off campus. Currently I only have one class per day, Monday through Friday so I can be present to provide majority of the care with minimal outings. I always ask clients about their yard and preferences for their animals safety in the yard especially at night. Depending on their circumstances, I will scan the yard for any unusual activity and safety concerns. As well as always being in close proximity when the dog wants to go in the front/backyard.

We started searching local pet hospitals, dog walkers, boarding facilities and the only place that could take her was all the way back in Santa Clara. About: I have been taking care of my Labradoodle Mokka for the last 7 years! We have grown up together and she’s taught me so much. I helped train her when she was a puppy, and still help her daily now after she’s grown up. Along with that I have spent time around many different dog breeds amd sizes, and I have yet to find a dog that I can’t get along with. I love to walk , cuddle, and play with these pups any chance I get! Although I currently am in high school, I have time almost everyday after school. I am very flexible, so most times after around 3 works perfect for me! If a problem comes up, I will push to find a solution that is best for the client and myself. Overnight dog sitting or house sitting will not be possible except on weekends, because of school. I’m a very diligent person, and I follow directions carefully. I will give each client 100 % effort, both the owners and their loving pets. I want the pets to feel safe and comfortable, because that is my top priority. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for about 8 years, whether it be neighbors, friends, or clients. I’ve done week long petsitting and simple day long care as well. I currently have 20 hours of dog walking logged at Santa Cruz animal shelter, working with dogs of all kinds. I am a full time student at UC Santa Cruz, but have a pretty flexible schedule! I mostly attend university in the morning and early afternoon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I’m located in a safe neighborhood great for walks. My yard is unfenced, so I would supervise any pets that were to go outside, all depending on the owners comfort with this condition. My home is large, so there’s plenty of room to roam around.

About: I walked my rough collie for the 7 years we had him, and I've taken my friends' dogs on many walks. I took care of my dog as he got older and have immense patience with senior dogs. “This was our second time having Sera take care of our two cats, Lyra and Plum, and she did an outstanding job! We had for her 2 1-hour visits per day, and those longer visits really helped solidify our cats’ growing bond with Sera. Like many cats, ours can take a little time to warm up to people they don’t know well. While our babies were still a little shy at first, they warmed up to her quickly, and it was clear Sera made a concerted effort to facilitate that. She was attuned to their body language and knew when they wanted pets, play time, or just a little quiet company. Sera warmly offered them affection while still making space for them to accept her offers of pets and scritches on their own terms. She played with their favorite toys and gave them special Churu treats to help build that positive association to her, which went a long way in helping our cats feel comfortable with her. Within a couple of visits, we were seeing adorable photos of our cats greeting Sera at the door, rubbing up against her, and flopping over to show her their bellies! A clear sign of trust, lovingly cultivated through Sera’s patient and attuned care! She also takes the BEST pictures. Sera was also attentive with the food, water, litter boxes, and our home in general. When we got home, the litter boxes had been freshly scooped, the areas around the litter boxes were swept and tidy, and their water fountains were full with water from a bottle of filtered water we asked her to use. She even took out our kitchen trash, which we had accidentally forgotten to do before leaving, and replaced the bag! By the time we got home, we noticed our cats were shedding much less than they normally do when we come home from a trip— a subtle but telling sign that Sera was giving them lots of pets and love! We highly recommend Sera and would be happy to hire her again in the future!”

About: I have had experience with feeding my friends and neighbors cats when they were away on vacation, but nothing professional. I do not have any training skills, but have dealt with temperamental cats who do not like sharing their space. I have had dogs and cats in my family since I was a child. We had small dogs as well as medium/large dogs and cats. I currently have 2 cats at home! I work full time Monday - Friday so this would be causal meetings and walks. I can feed them dinner or hang with them on week nights. That could be playing with them at their home, taking them to a dog park, or taking them for a walk. My weekends are wide open and I can hang out with your little dude whenever you need :). Unless otherwise specified in my schedule! I live in a one bedroom apartment that is quite spacious with a patio. There are cat toys and scratch posts everywhere. The patio is a catio, which is equipped with cat towers and cat grass. I play fetch with my tempermental boy because it gets his energy out very quickly and he LOVES it. My girly girl is very easy and plays with almost anything. I am more than happy to play with your kitty however they would like. For dogs, I will hang out and play with them at their house or take them to a dog park to get fresh air and more room to run. Fetch is a favorite as well as tug of war! I can take them on long walks around the neighborhood or the beach if the owner is ok with that!

About: I’ve always loved animals and can’t imagine life without them. While I’m not in a position to have a pet of my own right now, caring for other people’s pets is a great way for me to spend time with the animals I love. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family for years, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes. I’m very comfortable around strong breeds and understand the patience, consistency, and attention they need. I also have experience with puppies and basic training. I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their people are away. I’m attentive to their individual routines and happy to follow whatever instructions you leave for me. I have many years of house sitting experience around the world, so I understand how important it is to take good care of both your home and your pets. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals. Whether your pet needs a little exercise, companionship, playtime, or simply someone to give them some extra love while you’re away, I’d be happy to be that person. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I work remotely Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so I’m home and have a flexible schedule for most of the day. I’m also generally home on weekends. This makes me available for house sitting and daytime check-ins, with plenty of flexibility to work around your pet’s routine. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my longer in-person workdays, when I’m typically away from home from about 8 AM–5 PM. I’m unable to host pets in my home because pets aren’t permitted at my residence. I’m happy to provide loving care, walks, and drop-in visits at your home.

About: I've had dogs for over 10 years and have taken care of dogs and cats with all sorts of needs/medical care such as diabetic, arthritic and eye-sight impaired animals. I trained both of my dogs in agility and behavior classes so I have experience with training and extended behaviors. I volunteer at the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter and have taken multiple classes on dog behavior and dog walking safety. I am currently a UC Santa Cruz student but my schedule is fairly flexible since I commute/live off campus. Currently I only have one class per day, Monday through Friday so I can be present to provide majority of the care with minimal outings. I always ask clients about their yard and preferences for their animals safety in the yard especially at night. Depending on their circumstances, I will scan the yard for any unusual activity and safety concerns. As well as always being in close proximity when the dog wants to go in the front/backyard.

About: I have been taking care of my Labradoodle Mokka for the last 7 years! We have grown up together and she’s taught me so much. I helped train her when she was a puppy, and still help her daily now after she’s grown up. Along with that I have spent time around many different dog breeds amd sizes, and I have yet to find a dog that I can’t get along with. I love to walk , cuddle, and play with these pups any chance I get! Although I currently am in high school, I have time almost everyday after school. I am very flexible, so most times after around 3 works perfect for me! If a problem comes up, I will push to find a solution that is best for the client and myself. Overnight dog sitting or house sitting will not be possible except on weekends, because of school. I’m a very diligent person, and I follow directions carefully. I will give each client 100 % effort, both the owners and their loving pets. I want the pets to feel safe and comfortable, because that is my top priority. Although I will be responsible and careful with all my clients, I will make sure the animals are happy and recirving tons of love as well!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for about 8 years, whether it be neighbors, friends, or clients. I’ve done week long petsitting and simple day long care as well. I currently have 20 hours of dog walking logged at Santa Cruz animal shelter, working with dogs of all kinds. I am a full time student at UC Santa Cruz, but have a pretty flexible schedule! I mostly attend university in the morning and early afternoon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I’m located in a safe neighborhood great for walks. My yard is unfenced, so I would supervise any pets that were to go outside, all depending on the owners comfort with this condition. My home is large, so there’s plenty of room to roam around.
