About: I have had the privilege of caring for my German Shepherd, Rex, for three years, which deepened my passion for working with animals. Over the past 5 years, I have also gained extensive experience through Rover, specializing in dog training, behavioral corrections, and structured care. My expertise includes addressing common challenges such as excessive barking, leash pulling, aggressive tendencies, and uncontrolled anxiety. I work closely with pups and pet parents to ensure continuity in the care and training methods their pets are accustomed to or can develop. I also work with other sitters to learn more about certain situations and how I may better myself as care giver and teacher! I currently doing Rove full time, allowing me to dedicate my time to training sessions, structured walks, and behavior-focused activities. About: I have owned animals for as long as I can remember, ranging from goats, to rabbits, to dogs, and cats. I am equipped in senior care due to my own senior cat, as well as my childhood dog (not living with me)! I have been pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and family for years and love doing it! I absolutely adore all critters and want more than anything to offer them a safe, comfortable, and fun space when their people are away! I'm currently a full time student at UCSC, but I'm only on campus a couple days a week, so I will have plenty of time to take care of animals I'm watching! I'm available most days of the week, save the afternoons and evenings on Thursdays, as well as Friday mornings. That being said, I am still more than happy to host your babies while I'm at school for a few hours! I have a lush, fenced in backyard that is perfect for some supervised outdoor/play time! The third cat is my senior baby who prefers to keep to herself most of the time, but occasionally enjoys the company of elderly dogs!

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: I have owned big dogs my whole life. Two labs, a retriever and a Catahoula mix. I have never know my life without a dog in it. Since I was little I would help take care of the dogs. From them being puppies to elderly dogs. I have watched my own dogs as well as others. I have also an accompanied a mobile dog groomer during her work. I helped wash the dogs as well as keep them calm and happy while she worked. I definitely learned A LOT about cleaning up after puppies while working with her. I am currently home for the summer from college and I do not have any other jobs so I have a lot of free time. I available all week except for when I will be out of town. I understand that every dog has different needs. I am fully flexible and willing to work with your dog in whatever way they need. For example, I have helped my dog through her fear of fireworks by wrapping her in a blanket and holding her (a little peanut butter helped too). Or if your dog needs a lot of exercise to stay calm and happy I will run around for hours. I am adaptable to the dog and I can help in whatever way is needed!

About: Stemming from a childhood with German shepherds, I’ve loved being constantly surrounded by animals for most of my life. I have experience with dog walking, playing with other dogs, watching overnight, and can accommodate as needed! I have open availability with a preference toward mornings and afternoons. About: I grew up with a house that always had at least one dog in it. I have always loved and been very comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve dog walked and dog sat for neighbors since I was a young kid. I’m currently a college student at UCSC on summer vacation. Now that I’m home my schedule is very open and I’m hoping to use my free time to take care of dogs! I have two dogs and three cats living at my house currently. Both dogs are friendly and the cats keep to themselves. I love hiking so I can take your dog on some awesome dog-friendly trails, or I can just walk them around your neighborhood.

About: I grew up having a German Shepherd, but since it was a family pet I did not consider those as years in pet care. However, 3 years ago I got my own dog. I am certain I can take care of a puppy and older. I know the amount attention and care a dog needs on top of staying on track with my schedule. I recently graduated UCSC and currently focusing building my resume and finding a job in the area.
