“Oliver did great with Jenna and her family. When I picked him up he was very happy, in good spirits, and loved hanging out with all of them. He got lots of play time and was all tuckered out when I picked him up. They were all very kind and I could tell they had fun with him. I would highly recommend Jenna and her family. :)”

“Sandy really loved her time with Denise and Quarky. She tried to run back into Denise's house as we were putting her in the car, so we'll definitely have to book again, the next time we're in Santa Cruz. Denise was easy to communicate with and drop-off/pick-up was a breeze.”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own and do my best to become emotionally in tune with each pet I work with to ensure they feel at ease around me as I adapt to their unique quirks, routines, and needs. I am happy to bathe any dogs and take care of any messes that may be made. More than anything, I am very communication oriented and promise to provide prompt updates/photos/check-ins so you always know what we’re up to! I am currently living with my 14lb. dog so if you’re okay with puppy play dates that would be great! Otherwise, I will be out of town from July 1-10, but am happy to take care of any pets during any other time. In my home, I provide a safe and loving environment where pets can feel at home. I will stick to their normal routines whether that be long walks and playtime, or lots of rest and cuddles, or any combination of them! I never leave pets unattended for long and make sure they have water, comfy spots to rest, and all of my love and attention. In clients’ homes, similar to mine, I stick to the pet’s routines while also respecting your space. Whether it is daily visits, or short drop-ins, I want to make sure your pet feels safe in their routine and environment. I am very detail-oriented and will take instructions very literally and will follow them carefully. Most importantly, I will provide as many updates, photos, or messages as you want to keep you up to date with what we’re up to and ensure everything is up to your standards.

“Nancy definitely receives a 6 star review! Loved Nancy and her pups at the meet and greet before I dropped my puppy. I received pictures of my puppy, Hali'a, throughout the day which gave me piece of mind that she was happy. When I picked her up after 12 hours, Hali'a was pretty tired . A pooped puppy is a good puppy. We will definitely be seeing Nancy again❣️”

“Abby had a fantastic day with Geoff and his pups, she didn't miss me a bit and came home happy and completely tuckered out from playing. Awesome experience, and we look forward to booking another visit :)”

“Be honest Guillermo is the first rover I will leave review for. He's very patient to the puppy. My dog is a young eskimo who is very hyper everyday. Guillermo brought my dog for several walks everyday and send me pictures. My dog came back home tired lol. He's very responsible as well! My dog learn several tricks from him. He's the best rover I've met. I go travel a lot. I will definitely come back if I travel.”

About: Hi I'm Mariah! I'm a lifelong dog lover and experienced caretaker based in the Santa Cruz mountains. I've raised and cared for small and large breeds (I have a black lab myself!) and understand the energy, love, and patience pets need. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your pet plenty of time, attention, and movement-whether it's long walks, hikes, beach visits, or calm companionship. I'm reliable, respectful of your home, and treat every pup like family. I am surrounded by nature trails and have a very friendly black lab at home to keep your fur baby company. I can also crate your pup if preferred. Whether you need check-ins, overnight care, or just someone to keep your dog happy and active while you're away, I'm here to help!

“So glad we found Shannon and Chris!! They are clearly dog people and made our pup feel right at home. He can have his quirks so we’re grateful that they were so understanding and easygoing. We’ll definitely book with them again!”

About: I’m not just a sitter—I’m your pup’s new beach buddy, morning walk pal, and snack-time sidekick! I adopted my dog Gino in 2018 after he came out of surgery and needed some extra love. Since then, we’ve cared for everything from playful puppies to wise old seniors, always starting the day with a good walk and lots of positive energy. I tune in to each dog’s vibe, whether they want to zoom, snuggle, or just sniff every blade of grass. Your pup’s comfort and joy come first with me! My schedule is currently very flexible, so caring for pets fits in naturally. Gino and I have a steady routine—morning walks before breakfast, midday strolls, and evenings at the beach. Daily movement, sunshine, and connection with pups have always been part of our rhythm, no matter how busy life gets. At my home, pets are treated like family—welcome on the couch or comfy in their own bed. We hang out in the fenced backyard, soak up sun, and follow their lead—fetch for the playful ones, chill time for the observers (Gino loves being the audience!). I adjust to each dog’s vibe to make them feel right at home.

“Karen has kept my newly adopted shelter terrier dog numerous times and I can’t say enough for her care for him. He was reticent at first without me, but after the very first visit, anytime we drive near her street he starts jumping all over the car to get out to see her. She gives him lots of exercise and love, and herself is a very warm and likeable person. I recommend her highly.”

“First time ever leaving Diego with someone and I was so surprised at how comfortable Helen and her mom made him. She did great keeping communication and sending pictures, 100/10 recommend”

“Lucia was awesome with Squid. So attentive to his needs and she brought him back to us incredibly tired. That’s hard to do!!”

“My pup very much enjoyed meeting and staying with Coral during doggy day care. Coral was very sweet and accommodating, I highly recommend contacting Coral for day care services! I would love to get to know your dog on a consistent basis as that forms the best connection and trust :) Unfortunately I cannot provide services in my own home, due to other animals in the house not getting along with dogs. Amber L.
“Hello! I'm Katrina and Amber was my housemate for both of our last years at University. Amber is a very reliable and trustworthy individual. When it came to taking care of my cats when I was away for a while on vacation/work or even just to feed my cats fresh food for when I had late night class, she was always willing to help out. Not only is she good with my cats but she is also able to take care of both her dog, Bugsy, and my two cats simultaneously. Even when I had last minute emergencies, she was very patient and happy to lend a hand. She was very flexible since she had a lot of at home classes during that time and communicated well if something ever came up with my cats when I was away. Amber had even caught when my cats had fleas and helped me with the process of properly taking care of their flea situation. My cats are also very loving toward Amber, and I'm sure they see her as another one of their guardians. I know they will miss her when we all move out. Other than taking care of my cats, Amber also kept a clean and tidy space when she was home when everyone was busy with work or school. Amber was a very good housemate and caregiver to my cats when I was busy. She has that compassion and genuine care for animals that is necessary in a good pet caregiver. I would highly recommend her as a pet caregiver.”
