About: I raised my own working breed dog from when he was a puppy and have continuously worked on training and developing a relationship with him based on positive reinforcement, trust, and lots of love. I believe in caring for our fur babies like the intelligent, sweet, and sensitive gifts that they are to us, and tuning it each pet’s individual needs and personalities. I love to exercise and be outdoors and you can find me and my dog out hiking, trail running, playing fetch, and enjoying what nature has to offer. And after some exercise and fun outside, there’s nothing better than to come home and rest for snuggles and naps. As someone who has used pet sitting services for my own dog many times, I know how important and appreciated it is to receive clear communication and photos from the sitter, so I make sure to send updates so that you have peace of mind that all is taken care of. I work part-time and mostly remote so I am usually at home or out with my dog at the park, the beach, or on the trails. Your pup can come along for the walk/ride or stay safely kenneled until my immediate return. I can pick up Dogs in the Live Oak Neighborhood for Doggie Day Care between 8:30-11am. Weekend availability is more variable depending on what the family plans are. Your pup will enjoy a calm, structured, and caring environment within our family home on a quiet, low-traffic street in a popular walking neighborhood. With a secure courtyard and a spacious, private backyard for play, enrichment, and relaxation, your dog will have plenty of safe space to explore. Boarding pups are kenneled overnight from about 9 pm to 6 am, with a potty walk right before bed and again first thing in the morning while my coffee brews. Your pup can count on at least an hour of daily exercise—often more—and will be fed according to your established routine, with fresh water always available. When I’m home, pups are free to roam the house, enjoying companionship and comfort alongside our friendly indoor-outdoor cat.

About: I adopted my dog at 6 weeks old and he has not gotten out of the puppy phase until he was 4 years old. Throughout those years I've learned to redirect his attention onto something else using treats and words that he can understand. I handle more active/ hyper dogs well during walks and occasionally like to run with them too to burn some energy. Im currently a full- time student with the afternoons free everyday. I have no class on Tuesday and Thursday so I can my spend time with dogs full-time those days! As well as weekends. I like to prioritize enrichment/play and food when I care for a pet because feeding time varies based on each animal. Play time is also important because it's their enrichment time and it is what will tire the pet the best way possible at the end of the day. Play time also allows me to bond with the pet and enjoy my time doing so. I find it be the most rewarding part of taking care of pets.

About: We are current college students with lots of free time who love pets. We have owned several family dogs, a stray kitten, a drawn hamster, and a tortoise in the past. I am more of a dog person while Kiana is a cat person so we are able to sit a variety of pets with our experience. Kiana and I are full time students so we have plenty of free time. Our class schedules allow at least one of us to be at home at all times. My girlfriend and I are the only ones in our apartment with no pets. We have a large living space for your pets to free roam. We do not have a fenced backyard, however we do frequent potty breaks. My girlfriend and I love going on walks and have 10,000 steps daily!

About: I am a warm hearted, nature-loving person with a love for plants and animals. I've worked a number of seasons on organic farms, have studied and practiced permaculture, and have been a petsitter for many years (references available).
