My schedule is flexible and opened throughout the week here in Santa Cruz and I’m able to consistently fit in pet care. I have open availability on weekdays, weekends, and for overnights. I have enough flexibility to provide walks, drop-ins, and overnight care assuring all dogs I take care of get all the care they require and more.

I have a safe, pet-friendly home with a large front yard and grassy patio that is fully fenced in. All dogs have plenty of safe space to relax and play. My home is a non-smoking environment, and I keep it clean and safe for all pets. I also have a dog of my own, so I’m used to daily care, structure, and making sure pets are comfortable and supervised at all times. I do pet care partly because I miss my own dog when I’m away, and I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and giving them attention. It feels natural to me, and I treat every dog I watch with the same care and attention I would want for my own.

I’m a student athlete at UC Santa Cruz majoring in Legal Studies with a 3.8 GPA, originally from San Diego, with several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and energy levels and have experience through Unleashed by Petco, along with caring for dogs for friends, family, and my own. My experience includes walking and running dogs, overnight house sitting and drop-in care, bathing, and basic training, while maintaining their regular feeding schedules and routines. I have a dog of my own, so I understand the level of care and attention owners expect. I would love to meet your dog and make sure they are safe and well taken care of!

Jai is th man!! My pugs love him. I can recommend him highly!
I wish we could give a better score, but unfortunately Jai didn’t follow instructions on feeding and fed her twice the amount she is supposed to have. Additionally, she got a limp and was hardly walking when we picked her up and Jai didn’t tell us about this. I had a big vet bill due to needing to take X-rays. I wouldn’t book again with Jai.
