Nurtured Play
I have been in love with animals for as long as i can remember. From looking after a vegetarian dog who would go for long adventure walks with my cat to looking after an elderly Australian Shepard, playful as any puppy, even while suffering from cancer. Every one of these sweet beings stealing my heart. I have cared for pets that are both small and huge, lively and wild as well as sick and frail, from pit bulls to poodles, grey african parrots, monkeys, turtles, fish and cats. I am a self employed artist who works from home with continuous flexibility and I always prioritize family first as in the care I give to our furry or feathered family. I have a beautiful home that is safe and clean with many cozy places for pets to rest and play. It is bright and airy with a river walk, nature reserves as well as several beaches close by. There is also an enclosed dog run/yard right next to my home where your pet can meet other dogs and play or bask in the sun.

Marina was a pleasure to meet! On short notice she was able to watch our dog Sweet Pea for the afternoon while our family was out at the Boardwalk. She checked in with photos and stories of their walks in her neighborhood too. On top of that She was very graceful with us being a little outside our scheduled time for pickup. Thank you so much Marina, looking forward to having you hang out with Sweet Pea again next time we're down in Santa Cruz.

Marina was absolutely wonderful with my boy Joey, while in Santa Cruz I needed doggie day care while I spent the day with family at the boardwalk. I looked at several possible sitters but for Marina’s profile stood out from the rest, I could tell she loved animals and I also like the fact that she lives close to a dog park and dog walking area. Marina sent me several photos of Joey lounging in various area and she also allowed Joey to rest on her bed which he found on his own. Thanks Marina I was very at ease knowing my special boy was with, I liked that you listened to my concerns about Joey not having the Stamina that he once had something I really noticed the day before while at the beach with him and you let him have a leisurely walk off leash. Thank you so much 🐾🐾

A typical day
A typical day would consist of a long nature trail or beach walk in the morning and afternoon with several smaller outings throughout the day for pee breaks and play. I personally love walking along Rio Del Mar super early in the morning when the sun is just rising and everything is so fresh and magical.

Are they trained to come when called for and are safe off leash for example in a leash free environment. Do they love other dogs or are they perhaps a bit wary of bigger dogs.
