1. Andy T.
“Andy has been a wonderful companion to Louie. I have a four-year-old bull terrier, which is a very fussy breed with a lot of quirks. She showed up early for a meet and greet and has embraced my dog's silliness with a great attitude and tons of compassion. Louie comes home from his walks tired and happy.”
2. Rita W.
“Rita has a love for animals that shines through when she is around them. She is very loving towards them and takes their care very seriously. She dog sat for us in Santa Cruz, and I would highly recommend her if you are in need of a sitter. She has been a pet owner her whole life so she understands the care and attention that go into keeping pets happy and healthy. 10/10 stars!!”
3. Erika B.

5. Finn V.
“Having known Finn for over a decade now, I can say that they have all the traits you want in a dog walker/pet sitter. They are kind, responsible, communicative, and compassionate toward every animal they meet. Finn has watched my dogs while I’ve been out of town for multiple days at a time, and they absolutely love staying with Finn! Finn also has experience with birds, chinchillas, rabbits, and other beloved pets. Finn is an excellent caretaker who will treat your pets with love and make sure they’re safe and comfortable.”
6. Yajaira C.
“Yajaira has always had a loving care for pets. She would always take good care of my first dog named Winter. Winter had a medical condition and Yajaira was able to mange taking great care of her. Yajaira is a great and caring person towards everyone.”
7. Sami S.
“Sami is a great pet sitter that you can trust! She has done dog and cat sitting for my family and I always know my pets are in good hands with Sami! Sami is great with communication and very reliable!”
8. Lisa E.
“Lisa's gentle confidence was a terrific match for my nervous rescue pup. He hopped right into her lap upon their first meeting. Lisa took great care to build Stan's trust while also reading and responding to his comfort levels on their walks. We will continue to call on Lisa!”
9. Lindsay D.
“Lindsay stayed with us for a few days, and we have a 75 lb American Staffordshire Terrier and a 15 lb Chihuahua/Lab mix ( as well as three cats and two exotic pets). Our dogs love guests, and are well behaved, but like all dogs, very friendly and excitable. She was incredibly calm and relaxed from the very moment she stepped into our home, and it was obvious by the way the dogs responded to her. She gave off relaxed energy, and they relaxed too. She explained how she'd worked with shelter dogs before, taking them on hikes and visiting dog parks. The most impressive part of her easy relationship with our dogs was how easily she adapted to our personal dog rules. We're very lenient with our dogs at dinner time, and our Chihuahua is allowed up on a lap at the table. Lindsay didn't give the dogs any food, and wouldn't have allowed our Chihuahua up if we hadn't told her it was OK, she didn't treat them differently than we would. If we told her about a boundary we had, like making the dogs perform for a treat, she followed it, but if we told her what we allowed our dogs to do, like jumping on furniture, she was perfectly at ease with it. She's like a mom away from mom; perfectly adept at mimicking rules and behaviors of pet parents. Give her some guidelines, and she'll follow them with ease while keeping your dogs comfortable and relaxed!”
10. Selah H.
“Selah has been my go-to pet sitter since I got my puppy three years ago. Her love for pets is evident in the care she gives and I know that my doggo is in good hands each time she takes care of him. It is clear how responsible and on-top-of-it she is when it comes to taking care of others’ pets.”
11. Megan Alice M.
“I have known Megan's dog experiences for the last 10 years. She began by volunteering for the adoption program for a few years and helped Santa Cruz by getting many dogs into loving homes. She found herself a dog in the process. He was an abused dog that completely transformed under her care. In the last 2 years, she has taken care of my puppy many times. I trust her loving caretaking. Megan is patient and has strong authority. She has taken care of many of my friend's dogs as well and she has a lot of experience.”
12. Dylan G.
“Dylan was available to walk Mika on very short notice and was super responsive & friendly. He sent photos and left a great summary of their walk together. I’m sure Mika had lots of fun and definitely trust using his services again!”
13. joanne l.
“I've known Joanne for many years and for most of that time she has had pets. She is a reliable, patient and loving pet owner/care giver always regarding her pets as dear as her children. She has personally looked after my pet during my absences and she is the only person I'd trust.”

“Ryan is great with animals and pets specifically. I myself am a dog sitter on this platform. When my schedule was overbooked, i would always refer clients to Ryan who was dog sotting outside of rover. I strongly recommend Ryan to take care of your pets. Playtime, lot of walks and care will be delivered.”
18. Susan C.
About: I have cared for dogs most of my life, including showing boxers. Dogs get walks, love, gentle training as requested. I can easily medicate and provide medical support. I work 4 days per week, with an hour lunch so I can fit in walks or drop ins on those days. The other 3 days I am open for care. I offer feeding, walks, attention, gentle training, and affection. I have a cat who is good with other pets, to provide company to your pet.
19. Yasmin H.
“Yasmin was very communicative and professional! I recommend her highly to care for your pet!”
20. Mielle G.
About: I've cared for dogs of neighbors and family friends for many years. I love the critters and am so happy to offer comfort, support and enrichment while their humans are away. I am currently a part-time student, so I have lots of time and flexibility to hang with your non-human family members! I am able to do odd hours and later night visits. I have experience with anxious pups and suspicious cats. I'm great at meeting your pets where they're at; whether they want to play fetch for hours, go for a longer hike or just enjoy each other's company.
