About: I grew up in the country with many different animals, mostly rescues. I am very familiar and comfortable with caring for and training many different animals. I currently do independent work dictated by my own schedule. I am usually pretty flexible and able to take last minute requests for walks, pet care and training. I don't offer pet care in my home but I try to accommodate the unique needs of every animal with sensitivity and compassion. I'm very used to a wide range of animals, mostly rescues and some formerly abused animals.

We began with the plan to do just a couple of walks but it has worked out so well that Megan is now on a regularly recurring weekly schedule. About: Hi everyone! I’m just starting out on Rover but I’ve been a dog lover since day one. I have experience with dogs both big and small, in urban landscapes and suburban. I am attuned to their varying levels of energy, motivations, and comforts, all of which lets me form a quick bond with them! I’m a full time student at the UC, and work a part time job. Unfortunately, our hours at work were cut so until September, my schedule is relatively light! College dorms and apartments dont exactly have an abundance of dogs so I’ve been lacking in animal love. I hope to get my fill on Rover! My dogs have always been a part of the family, so that’s how I treat them! On my dog walks, I like to let them sniff all they want (but no eating!), I have no problem jogging if they’ve got some zoomies, and above all, I just want them to feel satisfied and ready to rest when they return home. I respect dogs as much as I respect people!

“Celeste is wonderful. We had met and already agreed to a three night pet sit later in the month, and some weekend walks with Duchess so they could get better acquainted before the overnights. Then I sprained my ankle and my wife's lower back went out. Celeste on very short notice stepped up by taking Duchess for unscheduled neighborhood walks so we could rest and recover. Two walks in now and Celeste and Duchess have clearly bonded. Duchess is a totally happy love bucket who thinks every person is her friend, but she responds best to people who are naturally relaxed and comfortable around pups while being the loving person in charge. Celeste checks all those boxes. We are very happy that we have more walks and a pet sit scheduled with Celeste.”

I love all animals. I have had a life time of experience with beautiful critters, having grown up caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and more. I have taken care of countless pups and cats over many decades; safety and love have always been paramount when animals are in my care. I am currently offering the following services: boarding in your home, dog walking and home visits 😊 I have experience with a wide variety of pups (and kitties) from 5lb chihuahuas to a large Italian mastiff! I am comfortable with medication administration, exercise, senior dog/kitty care and any special needs or requests. In addition, I, of course, will take immaculate care of your home while pet sitting. 
I am all about learning the routine of your pup(s) and/or kitty(ies) so you can travel or be work stress free. I will take daily pictures/videos of your pets with detailed updates. Some examples of pet care jobs I have done are: for a cat named Kona. A kind and curious fellow on the island of St John, USVI. As well as caring for Kona, I managed the owners home, property, and vehicles. Kona and I loved cuddling on the porch in the cool island breeze together! Another, Annabelle, a large Italian Mastiff. She loved going on long walks by the river near her home in Connecticut. She also loved chewing on special bones I was permitted by her owner to give her. She required a weekly bath/shower which was messy but fun! A third example are Gracie and Monti, both medium sized rescues. Gracie had a lot of energy and walking was a must sometimes several times a day. She and I would go on long walks on trails and she enjoyed wading in water to cool off after a long walk. Monti on the other hand was a dignified little fellow. He was one to stop and smell the roses and everything along the way :) Monti had back surgery so needed to be lifted in and out of car and needed to be monitored so as to not jump up and re-injure his spine. Lastly, Jet Jet was a frisky rescue cat. He loved to play and cuddle and roll in fresh cat nip! I have cared for many more pets and their owners homes. About: I’ve had dogs in my family my whole life, so I know that in addition to having the basic necessities met like food and using the bathroom, what they need most is love! I have lots of experience caring for dogs and have many regulars that I walk weekly. Some of the activities I do are going to the park, walking on the beach, and playing with them. I genuinely love dogs and promise to provide your fur babies with the best care! I’m currently working full-time, but I get off the earlier side so I am available Friday-Tuesday after 1:00pm and have full availability Wednesdays and Thursdays! In your home, I will always make sure the doors are closed so your fur babies don’t escape. I will watch your pet carefully and will leave your home just as you left it!

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats growing up. Being with animals is a passion of mine! Ive worked at a dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and training facility for about 4 years (Currently not working there anymore). The facility I worked at had cats, but mostly dogs. Wouldn’t mind caring for other kinds of pets! About: I currently work as a vet assistant at an animal hospital. My dream is to work as a veterinarian in exotic animal medicine! I am applying to vet school and want to make a career out of caring for animals. I have a lot of knowledge and compassion, and obviously a love for animals! I have taken care of dogs since I was little, whether it be experience with dog walking, taking care of small and big dogs as well as cat sitting. At home I have a well behaved sweet kitty who loves everyone! In addition I have had a small high-maintenance yorkie since I was young. About: Hello! My name is Scottie T., i’m a recent college graduate with a bfa in theatre, perusing an MA at Santa Cruz. I have two dogs i miss back in Brentwood - so i’m more than excited to care for and play with another buddy. I have experience with a wide range of dogs: from raising chihuahua, dachshunds, golden retrievers, and french bulldogs. I have a special affinity for senior animals and their specialized care, as well as reinforcing good behavior and training. A new friend is a new friend. I work full time and my schedule rotates often, generally Mon-Saturday, but I work an alternative work week (4 days a week), and most evenings are available and I will try to accommodate whatever I can. We live in an apartment, with a fenced in backyard. I recently adopted a senior cat- he remains indoor only for his safety. Overnight stays will likely be unavailable for me to host.

About: I've grown up alongside my dog Teddy since I was 8 years old. As a child I played with him, but now that he’s an old doggie, I've gotten to know and love his lifestyle and needs as a senior dog. This means lots of downtime, and shorter and more patient walks. I possess the imbedded instincts of a dog owner-- keeping an eye on pets, not leaving doors or gates open, and keeping them hydrated on longer walks.
