About: My name is Jana and I am a big time animal lover! I grew up with alaskan malamutes, hermit crabs, freshwater fish, and currently have 2 cats (Mactavish and Charley). I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, with specifics in senior and large dogs. I currently am on summer break and not working, so my availability is open and super flexible! I am free from 7am-8pm Sunday-Friday! Because I have cats that live at my home, I cannot offer boarding. However, I am happy to do drop-ins at your home. I am always very respectful of the places I visit and can offer whatever care your pet needs.

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life I’ve been responsible for bathing, walking and feeding them. I was a veterinary technician for 14 years and while I've had to say goodbye to that career I still love caring for animals. Your pet will be in great hands! Please note-I do work full time during the day-see "availability" section for my schedule. Thank you! I am currently working full time - Tuesdays 1pm-5pm and Wednesday through Saturday 8:30am-5:15pm. I can only offer visits or walks before or after work on those days. If I'm doing an over night stay for you I will not be able to provide potty breaks during these hours but I will be there in the mornings and evenings to give them plenty of love and care. I have more flexibility Sunday and Monday. Thank you for your understanding! I had extensive time taking care of my elderly childhood cat, who lived to the age of 21. For dog walking, I make sure each dog gets safe, attentive exercise tailored to their energy level, including proper leash handling, hydration, and cleanup. I also check for any behavioral changes and communicate updates to the owner after each walk. For cat sitting, I follow the cat’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, and providing playtime or companionship based on their desires. I have had 3 dogs myself, the last one being a bully breed who taught me a great deal of how to work with dogs who require high management. I also provide a stuffed kong and other chewy toys unless you prefer they don't have ☺️ I am a proponent for dog parents to have a fi or gos collar for their pups. I think it's helpful for you as the owner to know where your pup is and the exercise they are getting as well, in an unfortunate/ unlikely event of getting out we can track them. I work from home so am available at most all times. I also have a half acre fenced yard If possible I'd like to do a meet and greet before sitting. I understand the trust it takes to allow someone to take care of you own pup but also to allow into ones home when you are away.
