“Lindsay stayed with us for a few days, and we have a 75 lb American Staffordshire Terrier and a 15 lb Chihuahua/Lab mix ( as well as three cats and two exotic pets). Our dogs love guests, and are well behaved, but like all dogs, very friendly and excitable. She was incredibly calm and relaxed from the very moment she stepped into our home, and it was obvious by the way the dogs responded to her. She gave off relaxed energy, and they relaxed too. She explained how she'd worked with shelter dogs before, taking them on hikes and visiting dog parks. The most impressive part of her easy relationship with our dogs was how easily she adapted to our personal dog rules. We're very lenient with our dogs at dinner time, and our Chihuahua is allowed up on a lap at the table. Lindsay didn't give the dogs any food, and wouldn't have allowed our Chihuahua up if we hadn't told her it was OK, she didn't treat them differently than we would. If we told her about a boundary we had, like making the dogs perform for a treat, she followed it, but if we told her what we allowed our dogs to do, like jumping on furniture, she was perfectly at ease with it. She's like a mom away from mom; perfectly adept at mimicking rules and behaviors of pet parents. Give her some guidelines, and she'll follow them with ease while keeping your dogs comfortable and relaxed!”

“I think Yajaira, would be an excellent responsible and loving pet caregiver. She loves animals, always stopping people to pet their fur babies, always asking questions about them. She also takes care of our dog when I have to be away from our house she does an excellent job, when it comes to our dogs schedule. Yajaira is a sweet, caring, joyful soul and can be shy sometimes but when she over comes it and you get to meet her more she’s the sweetest person ever. Mostly when it comes to animals, I am positive your pets would be in good hands with Yajaira.”

She has clearly taken the time to spend with her pooch, Pixie to not only give her all the love and attention she needs, but also the training to be a very obedient dog. Katie is also great with my dogs as well! I have 2 not as well-behaved dogs and Katie is clearly well versed in dog language and has given me tips when working with my pups. I would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a pet sitter, walker, etc.”

About: I have cared for dogs most of my life, including showing boxers. Dogs get walks, love, gentle training as requested. I can easily medicate and provide medical support. I work 4 days per week, with an hour lunch so I can fit in walks or drop ins on those days. The other 3 days I am open for care. I offer feeding, walks, attention, gentle training, and affection. I have a cat who is good with other pets, to provide company to your pet.

Karimeh has watched our cat for several days at a time, which involved giving daily insulin shots, managing oral medication, and of course the usual feeding/water/play schedule. Karimeh is a wonderful communicator, messaging us with updates every day that we were gone. She isn't afraid to ask questions but she is thoughtful and resourceful so she hasn't had many questions. About: I have walked many sizes and breeds over the years with calm, positive and gentle energy. It is my privilege to care for your dog. I work fours days/week and am able to walk Saturday-Monday, after 11-11:30, as weekend mornings are my running/yoga time. Wednesdays after 3:30 is also possible. I have chosen to walk dogs only, no overnight play dates. Of course, when I do pick up your pooch for a walk , it will with respect for your home, privacy and attention to your instructions
