About: My name is Jana and I am a big time animal lover! I grew up with alaskan malamutes, hermit crabs, freshwater fish, and currently have 2 cats (Mactavish and Charley). I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, with specifics in senior and large dogs. I currently am on summer break and not working, so my availability is open and super flexible! I am free from 7am-8pm Sunday-Friday! Because I have cats that live at my home, I cannot offer boarding. However, I am happy to do drop-ins at your home. I am always very respectful of the places I visit and can offer whatever care your pet needs.

About: I love dogs and I love taking them out and about on walks! I have taken care of many dogs from the age of 2 to 16. My most recent experience includes taking care of senior dogs. I am currently a teacher on summer break so I have lots of time on my hands to dog sit and take dogs on walks! I take care of pets in clients homes by ensuring the dog has all of its needs met. I always make sure to spend extra quality time with the dog if I noticed that it is feeling sad that its owners are away.

About: I've taken care of my own dog since she was 4 months and have gone through obedience and behavior training with her! I've taken care of family pets including cats. I have experience working in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant and in kennels and worked with many cats and dogs. I work part-time and generally have flexibility throughout the week 🙂 I do walks, drop in visits, and house sitting. Please reach out and we can chat about the details! About: I have been around and caring for dogs since I was a little girl and have always held a special place in my heart for them. Throughout my life I have owned dogs as well as been trusted by friends and family to care for their animals when they are unable to do so. I live in an urban but quiet environment where I am able to take dogs for all kinds of walks- whether it be filled with hills or a flat sidewalk; and my apartment will be a comforting "home away from home" for your dog. I think dogs deserve the utmost amount of love, yet I still know how to be authoritative and care for them correctly. Overall, I simply enjoy being around dogs and all types of animals and feel caring for them is something that comes very natural to me. I work from home on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays and can tend to animals at any point during the day, as well as weekend care. I live in an upstairs apartment with a fenced balcony. I will provide love and attention based on preference of the animal given to my by the owner.

About: Throughout my younger years at home beginning in middle school, I have been the neighborhoods pet sitter. Whether it was dog walking, cat sitting, and even duck sitting, I was always happy to help. Growing up I always had a special place in my heart for animals. I had everything ranging from a tortoise to a pet rabbit and of course a dog. Growing up in Santa Cruz, I have always enjoyed having an active lifestyle and love getting outside with both high-energy dogs and senior pets who need a slower pace. As someone who played multiple sports all throughout High School, I have become especially good at my time management skill's especially when others are relying on me. As a second-year Agriculture Business student at Cal Poly, I am a dependable, organized, and committed person who takes jobs seriously. You can expect clear communication, updates with both texts and photos, and someone who will give your pet not just the exercise, but also all the love and attention they need to keep them happy and safe. With a shorter Summer this year, I have a ton of free time and am open to dog walking, house sitting, or if needed just drop-in visits. I am available on pretty much all weekdays as well as all day on weekends. Anytime you need a helping hand you can count on me to be there. During walks your pets safety and comfort is my top priority. I always stay aware of my surroundings especially if your dog is more sensitive to others I will make sure to cross the street or do what’s needed to keep your dog in the best hands possible. I also adjust my pacing based on your dogs energy and comfort levels. I am also comfortable handling big or strong dogs keeping them securely leashed unless instructed otherwise. For drop-in visits or house sitting I always follow instructions carefully making sure to go over anything with you I am not 100% sure about before I begin, in order to maintain your pets routine and minimize stress on your pet. I also respect your home and property as if it were my own and will provide consistent updates and photos so you feel comfortable and confident in your pets safety. I just got done with my Freshman year at Cal Poly and have a ton of time this Summer for dog walking and/ or dog sitting. I take my dog on daily beach walks and hikes as well as throw him the ball daily. I am more than willing to stay at my clients house and take care of their pets.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I have owned and cared for two dogs, including one who lived to the remarkable age of 22. My current dog is 15 years old and still acts like a puppy, giving me valuable experience caring for both senior dogs and energetic companions. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have been dog sitting for friends and neighbors since I was around 13 or 14 years old. Over the years, I have gained experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining their regular routines while their owners are away. I live in a nice neighborhood with a spacious backyard that is fenced in with a mix of astroturf and small rocks. I also have a shed in the back where the dogs can hang out when it is either raining or when it is super hot outside. It is a perfect hangout spot for your dogs to enjoy!

I have had many pets of all sizes and ages I’m currently attending college online so I have plenty of time to pay attention to your pets throughout the week. About: Aloha! I have been a lover of animals all of my life and a pet sitter for over 20 years starting in Hawai'i where I grew up and continuing in Santa Cruz where I've lived for the past 18 years. I was a veterinary technician for 14 years and while I've had to say goodbye to that career I still love caring for animals. Your pet will be in great hands! Please note-I do work full time during the day-see "availability" section for my schedule. Thank you! I am currently working full time - Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am-5:15pm. I can only offer visits or walks before or after work on those days. If I'm doing an over night stay for you I will not be able to provide potty breaks during these hours but I will be there in the mornings and evenings to give them plenty of love and care. About: I currently have a pet cat and dog. I've had them for two years. I understand that both are completely different and have different needs. I'm able to work well with both (: I make sure to take my dog on daily walks as well as giving her baths when needed. I also set aside time for quality time / cuddle / play time for my pets every day. In my home, our pets are treated like family members. Their safety is very important to me. I make sure they get their exercise in, stay clean, eat well, and get the attention they need!
