4. Jena M.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since my first pup when I was 14 years old. I am now 37 years old and recently lost my 15 year old German short hair pointer to cancer, very hard time saying bye to her. I am not ready to get another dog but I do miss having dogs around and love going on walks, runs and hiking with dogs. I recently moved to Santa Cruz and am in the midst of building my massage business, so I have lots of spare time on my hands to help with your pup walking and taking care of needs. I make my own schedule, and have plenty of spare time right now. Recently moved to Santa Cruz and just starting to build my massage business, I have plenty of free time right now. I am passionate about making pets comfortable, and can accommodate their needs. I follow instructions well with daily routines or medications they need to take.

5. Jennie J.
About: My name is Jennie. I grew up on a farm in Eastern Washington. We had tons of animals, including many different types of dogs, big and small. We regularly took in rescue animals and pets with special needs. I now live in Santa Cruz, and I have a sixteen year old muggin (pug/min-pin) named Genghis. I'm new to the area, and I'm looking to work with pets of all types. I have regular and occasional availability. I offer dog walking, petsitting and house-sitting services. I am experienced with animals of all ages and stages, from puppies and kittens, to senior cats and pups. I am able to administer oral and topical medications, and I am happy to offer health monitoring for pets who are under veterinary care. While I do not offer full grooming services, basic bathing is in my wheel house. Whatever your pets need to be happy, healthy, and comfortable is what I want to provide! My schedule is very flexible. I am new to the area, and I'm looking to establish both regularly scheduled and occasional clients. For petsitting clients, I can be available for 2 visits per day. For walks, I accept same day appointments, as well as recurring advanced bookings. I aim to always provide the same level of loving care to pets as their humans would, if they were home. To this end, I like to get detailed instructions regarding feeding schedule, play preferences, and personality. It is my commitment to my clients to follow their instructions to the letter. When it comes to adventures outside of the home, safety is my #1 priority. I want your pups to have a great time, and to do that, they've got to be safe. For this reason, I do not take pups to off leash areas, when other dogs are present. There are just far too many risks to take into account with unfamiliar dogs around. Keeping dogs on-leash in group settings offers me a greater amount of control and ability to protect them, in the even that we are approached by another unfamiliar dog while out and about.

6. Sendy V.
About: I have learned so much about caring for dogs and cats. I love giving all babies the attention they need. They are safe in my hands. I currently work part time as a receptionist 3 days a week. I also attend Cosmetology school 4 nights a week. In my free time I would be walking or sitting dogs I would carefully read the pet descriptions to identify any needs the pet may need. If I were to have any questions I won’t hesitate to contact the owner

13. Diyana A.
“Diyana has been a constant reliable and trustworthy housesitter for us for several years, in both short term and long term trips where we had to leave our three pets behind. She is organized and reliable, friendly, kind, and has become a dear friend of ours over the years. Our two dogs are a handful, and she has always managed to maintain a calm demeanor around them and a willingness to support them in any way she can when we are gone. She adapts to their mealtime needs (which are always changing) and gives them constant love when we are gone. Our cat Ninja also loves Diyana, as she always gives him snuggles and he remembers her when she stays with us. Whenever we come home from our trips that Diyana has housesat for, the home feels full of warmth and peace and the animals are all very calm and healthy and happy. We love Diyana, she has been a lifesaver for us in so many last minute trips!”

14. JKathleen W.
