About: Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! Let's start at the beginning: My mother was a vet tech, so I basically grew up around animals. I've been dog sitting/walking for friends and family since I was 16 and have always found it to be a rewarding experience. This past year I became certified as a dog trainer in an effort to expand my knowledge of animal behaviors. I have definitely found this new knowledge to be extremely helpful with my business as a whole, not just with training. I currently have a Golden Retriever puppy named Calcifer. About: I’m a proud owner of a crazy dog and a wannabe independent cat, and I’ve been pet sitting for most of my neighbors, taking their dogs on walks, and making sure all of their animals are fed and have had some time to play! I love all animals and I can handle anything from the most energetic puppy to a grumpy cat. I’m something of a pet whisperer I’m currently in highschool, so my scheduling for the next couple months is Monday-Thursday after 1:45pm, Fridays after 12:15, Saturdays after 3:15, and anytime Sunday I can stop by once a day or multiple times a day depending on what is desired in order to feed, check on water, take on walks, or just to get some play time in. “I think Melanie is an animal whisperer. We have a thirteen year old cat that over the years our neighbors would care for her and another that has since transitioned. Our one neighbor could never really see her and neither of our neighbors could ever really pet her. Melanie could. She did this within a day or two. We currently have our thirteen year old Queen and two, year old kittens. They were so well loved and cared for we couldn't ask for more. The kittens followed her around and the photo's she sent are priceless. Played laser tag with them and doted on them. Not only is she an animal whisperer but a great animal photographer. When we got home their feeding area was well kept the kitchen counter was nicely cleaned, the litter box was topped off and clean and the floor was vacuumed and free of fur. Aside from all that it was obvious that the felines were happy. Peace of mind was also included.”

About: I have loved cats and dogs forever and have had cats for 25 years. I have taken care of friends’ dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I am kind, and will treat your beloved pet like my own. My cat passed away last year and I am not yet ready for a permanent addition to my home. I am working full-time, however I have hybrid schedule. In the summer I work one day in the office and the rest from home. During the rest of the year I work three days a week in the office and two days from home, however, I can make flexible arrangements as well, I live in an apartment on a quiet street and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. About: I’ve got experience dog-sitting, and dog-walking, as well as living with dogs and love when I get the chance to take care of them. I’ve had a dog my entire life until her recent passing and have loved and cared for all animals even before I got one. I’m incredibly comfortable with dogs of all sizes, types, and temperaments. About: I have been around and caring for dogs since I was a little girl and have always held a special place in my heart for them. Throughout my life I have owned dogs as well as been trusted by friends and family to care for their animals when they are unable to do so. I live in an urban but quiet environment where I am able to take dogs for all kinds of walks- whether it be filled with hills or a flat sidewalk; and my apartment will be a comforting "home away from home" for your dog. “This was the first time I had ever brought my two pups to someone outside of our family so I was a little nervous! Yajaira was very sweet and calm and helped to alleviate my worries. Our Pomeranian, Duckie, is super easy going so I wasn't too worried about her but our Chihuahua, Fig, can require a little more understanding at times. When I picked them up they were happy and calm and Fig even seemed like she wanted to follow Yajaira back into the house :) We will definitely be seeing Yajaira again!”

About: Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! Let's start at the beginning: My mother was a vet tech, so I basically grew up around animals. I've been dog sitting/walking for friends and family since I was 16 and have always found it to be a rewarding experience. This past year I became certified as a dog trainer in an effort to expand my knowledge of animal behaviors. I have definitely found this new knowledge to be extremely helpful with my business as a whole, not just with training. I currently have a Golden Retriever puppy named Calcifer. He's a little fireball and brings joy to my life every day! I'm a very friendly and outgoing individual with keen attention to detail. Your dog will be in great hands with me. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life! I’ve always enjoyed walking and caring for dogs. I even started my own dog walking business in middle school :) I work full time in office but I am available early morning and after work. I would prefer a consistent schedule but I am also available for drop ins. Growing up with pets I know how important they are.
