About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! About: I have loved cats and dogs forever and have had cats for 25 years. I have taken care of friends’ dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I am kind, and will treat your beloved pet like my own. My cat passed away last year and I am not yet ready for a permanent addition to my home. I am working full-time, however I have hybrid schedule. In the summer I work one day in the office and the rest from home. During the rest of the year I work three days a week in the office and two days from home, however, I can make flexible arrangements as well, I live in an apartment on a quiet street and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. I will typically ask owners what commands they use with their dogs so I can help keep them trained and have them heel on walks. I always avoid other dogs just in case. And on hot days I plan my walks in advance and leave water out for the dog on the route before I start the walk. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets. Nieves is so good with dogs! My pup was immediately at ease with her, rolling over for her to scratch his belly. He went with her easily, and he does not do that. She is responsible, timely and communicative. I highly recommend Nieves for taking care of your dog/s.
Alyssa is great- she’s conscientious, a good communicator, and most importantly was comfortable with our 30 pound terrier mix.
