Marissa is fantastic. She’s always on time and takes my pup on different walking routes all the time to keep him excited and interested. She lets him take his time sniffing around and people watching. We’ve already referred her to other neighbors and friends. 100% recommend!

About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! If there are behaviours you’d like to work on or would like me to be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss them further. I am available for full time pet care, I am also available for part time + available to board if needed. There has not been an hour where I have not been in the company of 1 or more dogs since 2015. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to go potty and run uninhibited. I have a small scale toy and treat business which means the dogs will have plenty to keep them occupied and if he/she would like to go home with their favourites, we can arrange for that too. I am capable of pickup and drop off as well as supervised visits to the park, creeks, the beach, trails, etc.

About: I am a long term animal lover and trainer. 20 years experience with larger dog breeds. I have a flexible schedule and excellent references. Many years experience with Cats too. Will provide care and feeding, exercise and play, grooming and clean up. Can handle multiple pets. rates flexible depending on type of pets, number of pets and if overnight. I have local references upon request. I am currently working part time, so I have lots of flexible time available to spend giving your dogs, cats and farm animals the very best of care! I provide a complete variety of pet services in your home. I am overly cautious about safety in and out of the home. I take extra precautions when walking your dog near other dogs and with allowing pets outdoors where wild predators can be nearby. I am very aware of other dogs and will not allow to approach unless previously known. My availability changes. Sometimes I work remotely from home doing business office support for clients. This affects the type of pet care assignments that I may accept due to logistics and pet needs. I care for pets in your home only and take dogs on outings and employ daily frequent play and walks. Your pets get lots of attention!

We love Katie! She agreed to walk our puppy on short notice, and quickly arranged a meet & greet. She is always on time, friendly, reliable, and responsible. Best of all, she has taken the time to get to know our pup and all of his favorite things (playing with sticks, etc.), and has made time for him to play on each walk. So glad to have found Katie, and highly recommend her to other nola dog owners!

About: I have specific skills in fostering kittens, working with senior dogs and caring for them overnight, walking energetic and crazy dogs, and training with puppies. I can squeeze pet care into my schedule whenever. I am pretty flexible in schedule and am willing to work with you for whatever you need. In my home, I do not have pets because I live in a studio. At other people's homes I like to have a detailed written list of where everything can be found and what certain routines and schedules look like.

About: As a lifelong dog parent, I love being a leader, cuddle puddle, walker, ball thrower, and runner for dogs of all kinds (100% adorable, every single one!) Whether your fuzziest family members prefer long walks on the beach or romps in the mountains, I love taking the furry friends out & about. Daycare, boarding, walking, medication management & special needs are all part of the arc of care, and am confident in showing your dear dogs the same care that my dogs get! I’m currently working part-time, and have a flexible enough schedule to accommodate weekday and weekend care as needed. I’m an early riser & love starting my day outdoors with a nice long walk. I have a fenced in yard & two friendly dogs to keep your pup company, and can accommodate crates for training if you prefer. We’re less than a miles from the beach and go for walks every couple hours, with plenty of play time & meals, as needed.

About: 10 years of veterinary and hands-on animal care experience and truly enjoy working with all types of dogs. I live with a Great Pyrenees and an Australian Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds and strong pullers. Over the years, I’ve also cared for cats, chickens, goats, lizards, snakes, hamsters, and many other animals, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of species and personalities. I prioritize safe, calm, and positive walks, tailoring exercise to each dog’s age, energy, and personality. I can administer medications, including injections like insulin, and I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and special care instructions. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been the one who disappears at parties or events to hang out with the animals, that passion for being around and caring for pets has never left me. I have three young kids and recently transitioned out of a full-time job to focus on pet care, giving me flexible and reliable daytime availability. I’m available most days and times of the week. I’ve recently transitioned out of a full-time job to focus on pet care, which allows me to provide flexible, reliable visits tailored to each pet’s needs. I provide care in your home to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain a safe and clean space, and pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, routine, and any special needs.

About: I am a 24 year old, Clinical Psychology Masters graduate from San José State University, working to pay off my student loans. I have worked as a nanny for several years and have grown up with at least one pet at all times, and intend to keep it that way. I have had experience caring for all shapes and sizes of animals, and treat each one as unique as they are! I am very patient and empathetic with both humans and animals. I love to see everyone having fun whilst making sure they are not getting into trouble. I absolutely LOVE all animals and am a great little cat mom myself :) I am a part time Associate MFT and part time waitress. I am paying my way through student loans and so happy to spend as much time with pets during my time slots and days off. Although I am UNABLE TO STAY OVERNIGHT, I’m very communicative and flexible. I understand how it feels to be away from our fur babies, so I love to spend as much time with yours as possible while you’re away. Willing to help in any way I can! I make always put the animals first, making sure they have everything they need to be happy. I will communicate with you about what you do and do not allow regularly. I can be stern or lenient. About: For walks: I'm very experienced at dog waking. I can handle big and small dogs. I can move at any pace on walks including running. I like to let the dog set the pace. I will typically ask owners what commands they use with their dogs so I can help keep them trained and have them heel on walks. I always avoid other dogs just in case. And on hot days I plan my walks in advance and leave water out for the dog on the route before I start the walk. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets. I'm free every day, but Thursday and I'm not free Saturday after 6pm I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm great about making sure the house is completely locked up and the key put back in it's place when I'm done.

About: My love of dogs is lifelong--our family dog was a Boxer named Maggie who snored like a tractor. Ever since then I have loved pet sitting for family and friends. I live in an apartment currently and don't feel like it's the right time for a dog of my own, but I can provide experienced care to your four-legged family member. Please note: I live on the third floor up. If your dog is elderly or has mobility issues with stairs this won’t be a good fit. I currently work from home, which makes my availability flexible. The best times for me to care for pets are at lunchtime and in the evening/overnight. I am extremely responsible and use supervision and good judgment to ensure the safety of your pets inside of my home, and outside my home during walks and play dates.

About: I have owned big dogs my whole life. Two labs, a retriever and a Catahoula mix. I have never know my life without a dog in it. Since I was little I would help take care of the dogs. From them being puppies to elderly dogs. I have watched my own dogs as well as others. I have also an accompanied a mobile dog groomer during her work. I helped wash the dogs as well as keep them calm and happy while she worked. I definitely learned A LOT about cleaning up after puppies while working with her. I am currently home for the summer from college and I do not have any other jobs so I have a lot of free time. I available all week except for when I will be out of town. I understand that every dog has different needs. I am fully flexible and willing to work with your dog in whatever way they need. For example, I have helped my dog through her fear of fireworks by wrapping her in a blanket and holding her (a little peanut butter helped too). Or if your dog needs a lot of exercise to stay calm and happy I will run around for hours. I am adaptable to the dog and I can help in whatever way is needed!

Kat is an excellent dog walker! She made sure our Mabel got all the exercise she needed during the day, and even stayed inside with her while it was raining to allow her to have socialization while our daughter was at work. Kat is very communicative and kept us updated on Mabel while she was walking her!

I have a strong German Shepherd (Rosie) and, although trained, I would worry about an inexperienced person taking the reigns. I had never considered a sitter before but an injury meant I needed help walking her for a couple of weeks. Any worries were soon allayed. Shawna took such good care of Rosie, that she now beats her tail with absolute delight when she spots Shawna. I found Shawna to be a very capable person who is control, made it fun, and kept my dog safe.

Nieves is so good with dogs! My pup was immediately at ease with her, rolling over for her to scratch his belly. He went with her easily, and he does not do that. She is responsible, timely and communicative. I highly recommend Nieves for taking care of your dog/s.
