About: Throughout my younger years at home beginning in middle school, I have been the neighborhoods pet sitter. Whether it was dog walking, cat sitting, and even duck sitting, I was always happy to help. Growing up I always had a special place in my heart for animals. I had everything ranging from a tortoise to a pet rabbit and of course a dog. Growing up in Santa Cruz, I have always enjoyed having an active lifestyle and love getting outside with both high-energy dogs and senior pets who need a slower pace. As someone who played multiple sports all throughout High School, I have become especially good at my time management skill's especially when others are relying on me. As a second-year Agriculture Business student at Cal Poly, I am a dependable, organized, and committed person who takes jobs seriously. You can expect clear communication, updates with both texts and photos, and someone who will give your pet not just the exercise, but also all the love and attention they need to keep them happy and safe. With a shorter Summer this year, I have a ton of free time and am open to dog walking, house sitting, or if needed just drop-in visits. I am available on pretty much all weekdays as well as all day on weekends. Anytime you need a helping hand you can count on me to be there. During walks your pets safety and comfort is my top priority. I always stay aware of my surroundings especially if your dog is more sensitive to others I will make sure to cross the street or do what’s needed to keep your dog in the best hands possible. I also adjust my pacing based on your dogs energy and comfort levels. I am also comfortable handling big or strong dogs keeping them securely leashed unless instructed otherwise. For drop-in visits or house sitting I always follow instructions carefully making sure to go over anything with you I am not 100% sure about before I begin, in order to maintain your pets routine and minimize stress on your pet. I also respect your home and property as if it were my own and will provide consistent updates and photos so you feel comfortable and confident in your pets safety. I just got done with my Freshman year at Cal Poly and have a ton of time this Summer for dog walking and/ or dog sitting. I take my dog on daily beach walks and hikes as well as throw him the ball daily. I am more than willing to stay at my clients house and take care of their pets.

About: Since I was a kid, I have loved all animals. I was fortunate enough to learn how to take care of multiple pet cats and rabbits in our home. I previously volunteered at a bird rehabilitation center, and interned with a sea turtle conservation group in order to help save hatchlings. I also assisted my family in training our pit bull, who was adopted as an extremely anxious and reactive year old puppy. With compassion and patience, he is now a confident adult dog. In addition to pet-sitting, I currently volunteer at the animal shelter in my spare time, providing enrichment to dogs of various ages, breeds, and temperaments. I have taken care of a variety of pets, from cane corsos to chickens. I love spending my time with animals and will make sure I do everything to keep them entertained and at ease. With each animal I meet, I aim to understand their needs and behavior in order to provide proper care. I’m currently in graduate school, so while I am taking classes and working part-time, my schedule is often flexible. I am happy to accommodate you and your pets’ schedule to the best of my availability. I try my best to update my rover calendar, but please know it may not be 100% accurate as my work schedule is weather-dependent. I am flexible and hope to meet the needs of each individual pet and owner. I am happy to come to your home, or take your pets outside in various parks or beaches around town. For your pet’s safety and well-being, I exclusively walk dogs on a leash. I prefer not to use retractable leashes and can bring my own leash if necessary. I require a meet and greet prior to all first time clients. While taking care of your pets, I keep my phone notifications on and respond promptly.

About: I have had animals growing up my whole life. I love all types of animals and love being outside! Whether it’s a dog or a cat or even a bunny, I’ve had experience with them all. :) I am free early mornings, midday between 12-30pm and overnight. I have work from 4-10pm most days but free all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. I currently have no animals living at home. I have a backyard that is fenced off with a grass lawn. I am a quick walk to the beach.

About: I’m Cynthia, your go-to pet sitter for personalized, worry-free care. With years of experience across breeds and ages, I offer walks, play, feeding, medication management, and peace of mind through photo updates and open communication. Available for in-home visits or boarding in a loving, secure environment. I'm currently working PT and have time in early morning and evening to walk dogs and care for cats. I'm usually home by 3pm every day so I will have plenty of time to socialize with your pets. My place is a duplex with a fenced yard and 2 bedrooms, so your pet can stay in their own room. I'm also available to stay at owner's house if that is preferred.

This affects the type of pet care assignments that I may accept due to logistics and pet needs. I care for pets in your home only and take dogs on outings and employ daily frequent play and walks.
