About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, both my own and others’. I’m currently in a veterinary technician program, which gives me good perspective on the unique needs of your animals. I also have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments and life stages as well as cats and even rabbits. I can handle high energy dogs or puppies as well. I am in a veterinary technician program that I do remotely, which gives me the flexibility to care for your pets any day of the week! I live in a house with an unfenced yard, therefore because safety is my top priority I will always walk your dog on a leash for potty breaks and outdoor sniffing- they will never be left unattended. About: Throughout my younger years at home beginning in middle school, I have been the neighborhoods pet sitter. Whether it was dog walking, cat sitting, and even duck sitting, I was always happy to help. Growing up I always had a special place in my heart for animals. About: Since I was a kid, I have loved all animals. I was fortunate enough to learn how to take care of multiple pet cats and rabbits in our home. I previously volunteered at a bird rehabilitation center, and interned with a sea turtle conservation group in order to help save hatchlings. I also assisted my family in training our pit bull, who was adopted as an extremely anxious and reactive year old puppy. With compassion and patience, he is now a confident adult dog. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, big and small alike all my life. I grew up with a boxer and a golden retriever in the home so I’m accustomed to the joy of having pets in the house. Our older cat Plum can be a little prickly if overstimulated, so seeing pictures of her rubbing up against Yuliya’s leg made me feel secure that my cat felt comfortable and safe. We also loved seeing photos of our younger, more active cat Lyra getting plenty of play time and affection. She understood and expressed the importance of routines for cats, especially when their people are away, and her care for our cats reflected that. Our cats have a fairly complicated food routine, and Yuliya did well adhering to it. Part way through our trip, she noticed that one of our cat’s food was running low, let us know, and even measured out how many portions were left to ensure there would be enough to last the rest of our trip. We are the type of cat owners who appreciate very detailed visit summaries, and it would’ve been great to have had a little more of that, but we did receive lots of photos and enough written updates to feel that our cats were in safe and caring hands.
