About: Growing up my family loved and cared for many pets. Now I have a fur baby of my own, my kitty named Pan. I have a great deal of experience looking after furry loved ones and I would treat your babies as if they were my own! About: I have had animals growing up my whole life. I love all types of animals and love being outside! Whether it’s a dog or a cat or even a bunny, I’ve had experience with them all. :) I am free early mornings, midday between 12-30pm and overnight. I have work from 4-10pm most days but free all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. I currently have no animals living at home. I have a backyard that is fenced off with a grass lawn. I am a quick walk to the beach.

Later, another emergency came up where we missed our connecting flight and couldn’t make it home for an extra day. About: Over the course of my life I have owned, raised and cared for dogs (Husky + Pitbull mutt, Lab and Chihuahua), chickens, quail, fish, lizards and cats. Shylynn took wonderful care of my sweet shy cat while I was away for four days. She sent lots of great pictures with her daily updates, and it was reassuring to see him having fun and making a new friend. He was calm and happy when I got home. She also very considerately took initiative to water my plants because the weather had been hot. I hope to have Shylynn take care of him again the next time I need a sitter.

We LOVE Melanie! As former pet sitters ourselves, our standards are pretty high— none of the other Rover sitters we’d tried in the past had quite met them until Melanie! We unexpectedly had to delay our trip by a day because we got sick. Melanie promptly accommodated this change and sent along such a thoughtful message. We knew right away we were dealing with a true professional! Melanie’s attentiveness stood out right from our meet-and-greet. She didn't just ask what our cats' favorite toys were—she asked how they each liked to play with their toys. We showed Melanie our cat Plum's exercise wheel and mentioned that her favorite way to use it is with someone jogging alongside her. We never expected a sitter to adopt our silly little routine, but Melanie jogged next to her at every visit! It was no surprise to hear that Plum was greeting Melanie at the door and rubbing against her for pets by the end of our time away. Our other cat, Lyra, is a little more wary of new people, but Melanie is extremely well versed in cat body language and boundaries, and took that into account when interacting with the less-trusting Lyra. Even if Lyra wasn’t fully on board with the whole “new person” idea, she still chose to hang out nearby Melanie at all of her visits, which told us she felt safe. As anxious pet owners, we like updates that are as detailed as possible with lots of pictures. Melanie delivered in spades, providing sweet and thoughtful visit summaries with 25+ photos per visit. Her summaries went beyond the basic tasks of the visit— she let us know how our cats greeted her, how much they were eating, if they wanted pets, what toys they played with, and her sense how our babies were doing overall. Most importantly, she let us know they were LOVED. We look forward to hiring Melanie again soon!
Nicole took care of my cats when I had to go out of town last minute for Memorial Day weekend. She arrived each evening to feed them, clean the litter box, play, and fill their waters. She was prompt and kept everything clean, and she even got my super shy kitty to come out and play & made sure he ate! I would definitely recommend booking Nicole if you need pet care.
Grace was amazing!! It was clear that our cats really liked her during our meet and greet. During the sit, she left detailed report cards and sent many photos. Our cats were in great hands. She’s really on top of everything and I felt at east while away. I’d recommended her for sure! :))

Terra was great. She understood my cat needed space while I was away and adhered to all of my requests. I was not able to do a meet and greet and she stepped in without an issue by talking it over on the phone. She made me feel comfortable leaving my baby with her. I’d recommend her and hire her again.
Makayla was a great sitter. She sent me pictures which really helped me while I was out of town. She gave my cat the space he needed and he felt very comfortable going about his routine with her. He had 3 times a day feedings with special instructions to open windows for him and let him go on my porch when she got there so he can eat grass and get a little fresh air. She followed them all to make my boy as comfortable as can be. My recommendation is to definitely hire her if she’s available. Thank you Makayla!
