A typical day
In my experience, our pets thrive on routine. My goal is to provide as similar a daily routine as possible, with some extra stress relief and love thrown in while your pets’ favorite people are gone. Whether this means lots of exercise and stimulation, or quiet time in the house, I’m happy to cater my days to your pets’ needs.

Pet care experience
I have a long and varied history of animal care: dogs large and small, cats, reptiles, chickens, and more! I currently live with multiple cats and volunteer weekly at the local shelter with dogs. I think my biggest asset as a caretaker is my ability to be patient and perceptive with animals- they tell us so much with their body language!

Makayla was a great sitter. She sent me pictures which really helped me while I was out of town. She gave my cat the space he needed and he felt very comfortable going about his routine with her. He had 3 times a day feedings with special instructions to open windows for him and let him go on my porch when she got there so he can eat grass and get a little fresh air. She followed them all to make my boy as comfortable as can be. My recommendation is to definitely hire her if she’s available. Thank you Makayla!
Makayla is a wonderful sitter. She’s so patient with my cat and makes sure he’s comfortable. My boy doesn’t warm up to new people well and she lets him manage that by giving him space when he needs it and continues with the routine that he is used to. I would definitely request her help in the future.
