About: I have been pet sitting for the past 3 years using Trusted House sitters. But grew up with dogs, have lived with cats the last 10 years and love being around all types of animals! I have watched a variety of pet with a range of needs. I love learning about the unique personality each animal has! I work a completely remote job as designers from 7 am - 3 pm PST. During these times, I have sporadic meetings, but nothing that would take me away from watching your animal for over nights. I am a flexible and great at adapting to different schedules and routines. I am an active person so am able to go for walks, hikes or runs based on your dogs needs. I am a naturally tidy person and I will leave your home exactly in the state as when you left. I am available to watch any type of pet in your home! I only can accept dogs in my home. I live on farm with a fenced in yard but outside of that there’s a lot of space to roam. I live with 3 other roommates who are also animal lovers. We live with a cat but he is outside most of the day and feels quite indifferent about dogs.

“Melanie has done a great job taking care of our kitties! We know that our mountain home driveway isn’t the easiest and she also managed that with grace and no complaints! She writes a detailed report at the end of each visit so we know the care and love our cats received! She also fed our wild birds! Melanie also sends many photos of cats, food and litter boxes. She gets better photos of my cats than I do! We highly recommend her for the care of your fur babies!! She also accommodated us when we had a kink in our travel, delaying our arrival home. She was able to visits cats one more time to make sure they had food and water while we were on our way home.”

About: I've been a lover of pups since I was a young boy, and that still remains true to this day. My fiance and I now have 2 large dogs - a boxer & a husky mix! They are truly our fur-babies! 🫶🏻 One of our dogs is ESA certified - as am I. And we've assisted in the training of my parents 2 service dogs. My experience has taught me how to tend to the varying needs and temperaments each dog may have. Rest assured your dogs will get & feel the same love, patience, and excitement that we give our own. 🐾 I work remotely (from home) full-time so my days and evenings remain flexible so I can care for your dogs as needed. I offer dog walking during working hours, and dog sitting as needed. While caring for your pet in your home, I'm happy to play with them, snuggle with them, or allow them their space to feel as comfortable as possible. At our home our boxer loves to play Frisbee and tug of war, but our husky just wants head scratches - we cater to both, in very different ways. :)
