“We went on a last minute trip & Lillian was so amazing with our two cats! One of our cats gets very nervous with people she doesn’t know & she did so well with Lillian. You can tell she really has a love for animals. 100% will book her again!”

About: For walks: I'm very experienced at dog waking. I can handle big and small dogs. I can move at any pace on walks including running. I like to let the dog set the pace. I will typically ask owners what commands they use with their dogs so I can help keep them trained and have them heel on walks. I always avoid other dogs just in case. And on hot days I plan my walks in advance and leave water out for the dog on the route before I start the walk. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets. I'm free every day, but Thursday and I'm not free Saturday after 6pm I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm great about making sure the house is completely locked up and the key put back in it's place when I'm done.
“Tarah was fantastic! She did 4 drop-ins a day with our 2 dogs and always sent updates and photos. Our Whippet/Husky mix can be quite a rascal, but Tarah handled her energy very calmly. Very friendly and reliable.”

“Jonathan was great with our two kitties! They were well taken care of while we were gone and we got daily Rover card updates with their pictures. He is also very communicative and let us know about any details that we should be aware of.”
“Callie takes such good care of our pets! She always fits us in last minute and goes above and beyond. You can tell she really cares about making sure our pets (dog & cat) are well cared for in our absence. Even our shy kitty came to greet her.”

“Melissa kept in great contact and even sent a bunch of photos showing that Elsie is doing well. I can't wait to get home to see her, but I feel comfortable having her in Melissa's care. She checked on the food and water dispensers, asked for details about keeping the litter box clean, and spent some time playing with Elsie. I will contact Melissa again to see if she will be available again soon for another visit.”
“Melanie made us feel so safe leaving our cat Alice in her care. Alice is normally a skittish cat, but Melanie must be a cat whisperer because she gained Alice’s trust right away. Would totally recommend Melanie to others as your furry loved ones will be well taken care!”

“Sandra is the best! There are very few people I’d trust with my cat and being in my home without me there. Sandra is one of them. Kind, respectful, dependable, attentive, and. caring. Not to mention my cat adored her almost immediately. This is rare, as she hides from most people. I can’t recommend Sandra high enough.”

“Grace was very prompt to respond. Very flexible and easy to communicate with. Felt very comfortable with her taking care of the dog and the house. Highly recommend and look forward to working with her again.”
About: I have been caring for my 13 year old dog, Molly, for 11 years. I am also an active volunteer at the county animal shelter, working with dogs (1,000+ hours) and cats (400+ hours). I have a special place in my heart for dogs with behavioral and medical needs, and working with them at the shelter has taught me patience and skills that help to make the animals more comfortable. I also have training in puppy care, senior dog care, walking leash-sensitive dogs, and caring for injured animals. The time I get to spend with dogs is the most fun I have doing anything, and I take a lot of pride in caring for them with the appropriate level of attention and patience they need. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so I am available to walk and care dogs at a variety of hours. The length of walks is up to you and your dog-- I am happy to do short walks or longer outings depending on what you need! I am happy to refer you to references (animal shelter staff and volunteers) who can attest to my dog-handling skills and my ability to work with dogs from a variety of backgrounds. The safety of your pet and your home always come first, and I am very comfortable taking any steps needed to ensure that everything goes smoothly.

“Wonderful care, as always! Tula is an old lady now, but AnnMarie is so sweet and attentive to her needs. She always goes above and beyond to make sure our kitty is comfortable and safe, and our house is always well-cared for. We so appreciate the job well done!!”

“Yuliya took incredible care of my cat Petunia. I could tell she truly loved spending time with her, and it made me so relieved to have someone who cared for her just as much as I do! Yuliya sent tons of cute photos and updates. She also took wonderful care of our home and even moved our laundry into the dryer for us. Can’t recommend Yuliya enough and would have her back anytime.”

Rob Roy Junction cat parents share their Rover experiences
Lillian was great! She did drop ins for our cats 3 days in a row and sent report cards each day. We came home to happy cats, knowing they were well cared for. She also came over for a meet and greet and asked important questions about the cats’ routines and vet info in case of emergency. Would recommend!

Yuliya is definitely a cat person, and our cats took to her right away! Our older cat Plum can be a little prickly if overstimulated, so seeing pictures of her rubbing up against Yuliya’s leg made me feel secure that my cat felt comfortable and safe. We also loved seeing photos of our younger, more active cat Lyra getting plenty of play time and affection. She understood and expressed the importance of routines for cats, especially when their people are away, and her care for our cats reflected that. Our cats have a fairly complicated food routine, and Yuliya did well adhering to it. Part way through our trip, she noticed that one of our cat’s food was running low, let us know, and even measured out how many portions were left to ensure there would be enough to last the rest of our trip. We are the type of cat owners who appreciate very detailed visit summaries, and it would’ve been great to have had a little more of that, but we did receive lots of photos and enough written updates to feel that our cats were in safe and caring hands. Thank you, Yuliya!
