Because my schedule is highly flexible, I am available for consistent potty breaks, timely feedings, and plenty of one on one playtime without having to rush. Neighbors and friends have always trusted me with their animals because I prioritize safety, comfort, and peace of mind for the owners. I am currently living in Santa Cruz and focusing entirely on pet care. My wide-open schedule gives me the ultimate flexibility to fit seamlessly in your weekly routine, weather you need regular daily dog walks, early morning feedings, or someone around for companionship. Instead of a fenced yard, I focus on dedicated, one on one outdoor time. Your pet will receive my full attention on multiple leash-walks throughout the day to get their energy out. Indoors ill keep a sharp eye on them, clear away any potential hazards, and provide plenty of mental stimulation with games and toys so they are safe and entertained.

About: I love dogs, have had my own but school and work are too demanding for full time care. In the time I have your dog rest assured they will be treated as if they were my own. I look forward to my time with them . I am available most weekdays and weekends, especially morning or day time. I think my love for dogs is my greatest skill, every time I see one I can’t help but go and give it some love. I’m up for anything from walks and play time to down town together just bonding. Beach time is one of my favorite things to do and I would love the company of your dog by my side, everything is more fun with a dog .

About: Since I was a kid, I have loved all animals. I was fortunate enough to learn how to take care of multiple pet cats and rabbits in our home. I previously volunteered at a bird rehabilitation center, and interned with a sea turtle conservation group in order to help save hatchlings. I also assisted my family in training our pit bull, who was adopted as an extremely anxious and reactive year old puppy. With compassion and patience, he is now a confident adult dog. In addition to pet-sitting, I currently volunteer at the animal shelter in my spare time, providing enrichment to dogs of various ages, breeds, and temperaments. I have taken care of a variety of pets, from cane corsos to chickens. I love spending my time with animals and will make sure I do everything to keep them entertained and at ease. With each animal I meet, I aim to understand their needs and behavior in order to provide proper care. I’m currently in graduate school, so while I am taking classes and working part-time, my schedule is often flexible. I am happy to accommodate you and your pets’ schedule to the best of my availability. I try my best to update my rover calendar, but please know it may not be 100% accurate as my work schedule is weather-dependent. I am flexible and hope to meet the needs of each individual pet and owner. I am happy to come to your home, or take your pets outside in various parks or beaches around town. For your pet’s safety and well-being, I exclusively walk dogs on a leash. I prefer not to use retractable leashes and can bring my own leash if necessary. I require a meet and greet prior to all first time clients. While taking care of your pets, I keep my phone notifications on and respond promptly.

About: What can I say, I am an absolute animal lover! and I am sure your dog would have a great time with me! I have had animals my whole life and love to shower them with care and affection! I am local teacher with a lot of extra time on my hands for the summer. I love to go on long hikes and adventures or just hangout in my grassy fenced in backyard. Whatever your pet desires, I can make it happen! I live alone but do share my yard with two cats. Not only do I have years of owning my own pets, I also have years of experience volunteering at animal shelters. Working there I have learned some behavioral training techniques, though I am not fully a professional trainer. I am a full time teacher with summers off. I am single with no kids. I have availability in the mornings & afternoons and full availability in the summer. I have a fenced in yard and a pet friendly environment inside my house with no other pets. When at other houses I treat them with care and respect.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, big and small alike all my life. I grew up with a boxer and a golden retriever in the home so I’m accustomed to the joy of having pets in the house. More recently I’ve pet sat for families who have homes in Europe, and would go visit during the holidays. I’ve been caring for this elderly dog in particular for over 10 years. He’s a sweet tempered dog but takes medicine everyday so I’ve become well adept at hiding his meds inconspicuously to get him to eat it without any problems. I also love working with puppies and find that caring for younger dogs is a lot of fun, and is exciting too! I love aussies, border collies, and spaniels but find that I can get along with just about any breed. I’m the type of person to always stop to ask to pet your dog on walks, and love showering dogs with affection and love. One of my favorite past times, is letting a dog run free off leash, and play frisbee with him or her. I’d love to provide loving, friendly, and fun care to your furry friend and I look forward to our first paw-shake! Currently in school, but available after and before classes start-and free on weekends! I’m in school, but I have plenty of time to run around and meet your pets. I care for pets mainly in your home, I find it easiest because some pets can get flustered in new environments. I strive to get to know them and build trust by being in their home turf to see all their favorite toys, and where they feel most comfortable. About: I have been caring for my 13 year old dog, Molly, for 11 years. I am also an active volunteer at the county animal shelter, working with dogs (1,000+ hours) and cats (400+ hours). I have a special place in my heart for dogs with behavioral and medical needs, and working with them at the shelter has taught me patience and skills that help to make the animals more comfortable. I also have training in puppy care, senior dog care, walking leash-sensitive dogs, and caring for injured animals.
