We want to know what would make a fun and happy stay for your dog. We live in the fog belt along the coast so it stays nice and cool here when its hot everywhere else. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: We to keep your dogs patterns as close to the way they are at home as possible. If your dog sleeps in their own bed or crate we will honor that. Typically their bed is in our room or the living room. We allow dogs on our bed, and have a dedicated dog couch so they can relax in the living room and are treated like a member of the family. My partner Brian’s schedule has recently changed so we can only board weekends, or possibly over a long weekend: We can take a Friday evening drop off at 5pm earliest, and can schedule a Monday morning pickup until 10 am or so. We live in a quiet, low-traffic beach neighborhood of Aptos, with a front and back fenced in yard, a two minute walk to a dog friendly beach, and 5 minute drive to a redwoods state park. The backyard is shared with my awesome neighbor who own a dog. The backyard has a fence that is split down the middle, and he is kept on his side of the fence. He is only let outside occasionally, under supervised conditions. We do not allow guests dogs into the backyard when he is present, until we have had time to properly introduce them. He is friendly, but we always take care to introduce dogs. Our front yard has a low fence so our guest dogs are only allowed in the front yard under supervision, the backyard has a much higher fence, and we have a sliding glass door so they can go outside easily. We can crate your dog if needed. Both yards have shade, flower gardens, and are wonderful places to take a nap in the sun.

About: I’m a proud owner of a crazy dog and a wannabe independent cat, and I’ve been pet sitting for most of my neighbors, taking their dogs on walks, and making sure all of their animals are fed and have had some time to play! I love all animals and I can handle anything from the most energetic puppy to a grumpy cat. I’m something of a pet whisperer I’m currently in highschool, so my scheduling for the next couple months is Monday-Thursday after 1:45pm, Fridays after 12:15, Saturdays after 3:15, and anytime Sunday I can stop by once a day or multiple times a day depending on what is desired in order to feed, check on water, take on walks, or just to get some play time in. Also super down to just keep your pets company for a while, because I know some of them miss their people.

About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends, relatives and clients for years. Our house is their pets’ second home when they travel or need us. I can do the same for you, too. During the weekend I am mostly home. Weekdays, I partially work from office and home. There is plenty of time to spend time with your pet or walk them frequently. My husband works from home full time, so there is always one or two adults at home. We live in a single house with a fenced backyard, and there is a big greenbelt right outside our backyard ( see images). Therefore it’s very convenient for frequent walks or play time for your pet. About: I’m a 21 year old college graduate looking to fulfill her hopes of pet setting once again! Being a full time student meant busy weeks, leaving no time for pet care. Something I actively did before transferring to UCSC. But with this newfound, post-graduate freedom, I’m eager to get back into the gig. Besides caring for my own kitties, I’ve worked with 7 clients over the past four years. I have work from 4-10pm most days but free all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. I currently have no animals living at home. I have a backyard that is fenced off with a grass lawn. I am a quick walk to the beach.

“This was our 2nd time using Ayushi & Parth. We made the change from a company that boards pets to home care because our dogs kept getting kennel cough during their stays. There were quite a few pets at Parth’s home on the Holiday weekend, but our fur babies, Bear and Biscuit really enjoyed their time playing with the other dogs there and came home ready for rest! “Jacqueline took exceptional care of our pup, Luka, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. We received daily updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from every picture that Luka was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Luka is a Belgian Malinois, so he has a lot of energy and requires plenty of physical and mental engagement. Jacqueline did a wonderful job meeting his needs while also making him feel at home. Their home is beautiful, with a secure backyard and plenty of toys for the dogs to enjoy. One of the coolest parts of his stay was that Luka learned to use a doggie door for the first time. It gave him the freedom to come and go into the yard as needed, and I know that also makes things easier for the family caring for the dogs. Although this was only a short stay, Jacqueline followed all of our care instructions, including Luka’s feeding routine, and treated him like one of her own. One thoughtful detail that really stood out was how carefully they packed all of Luka’s belongings exactly the way we had brought them. It wasn’t something they had to do, but it showed how much care and attention they put into everything. We truly appreciate the excellent care Luka received and will absolutely be booking with Jacqueline again. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive sitter.”
