Our older cat Plum can be a little prickly if overstimulated, so seeing pictures of her rubbing up against Yuliya’s leg made me feel secure that my cat felt comfortable and safe. We also loved seeing photos of our younger, more active cat Lyra getting plenty of play time and affection. She understood and expressed the importance of routines for cats, especially when their people are away, and her care for our cats reflected that. Our cats have a fairly complicated food routine, and Yuliya did well adhering to it. Part way through our trip, she noticed that one of our cat’s food was running low, let us know, and even measured out how many portions were left to ensure there would be enough to last the rest of our trip. We are the type of cat owners who appreciate very detailed visit summaries, and it would’ve been great to have had a little more of that, but we did receive lots of photos and enough written updates to feel that our cats were in safe and caring hands. About: I have taken care and have 2 dogs/ 1 cat of my own that I actively care for. Also I have taken care of my family friends farm with all kinds of animals for days on end including walking, feeding, letting them out and in, etc. I also just love animals and love taking care of them! I work part time but normally only 4 hour shifts so i’m very flexible and can visit your animals multiple times throughout the day as well as working. I also only work around 3 days a week so i’m very available for the most part! In my home my dad has a service dog who is very well trained and also has a crate your pup could go in. We also have 2 older dogs with a fenced in outdoor area for them and a doggy door that gives them free access if going inside and out.

About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. About: I have specific skills in fostering kittens, working with senior dogs and caring for them overnight, walking energetic and crazy dogs, and training with puppies. I can squeeze pet care into my schedule whenever. I am pretty flexible in schedule and am willing to work with you for whatever you need. In my home, I do not have pets because I live in a studio. At other people's homes I like to have a detailed written list of where everything can be found and what certain routines and schedules look like.
About: I grew up with pets from the time I was born. We had cats, dogs, turtles, lizards, bunnies, horses etc. I’ve assisted in rescuing kittens from the jungle in the Caribbean as well as providing food to the stray dogs and cats. Both fenced in I have trained dogs in the house that can be separated from the dogs I take in or they can mingle up to the pet parent! Dogs are allowed on beds and furniture and around the home !

About: I have owned big dogs my whole life. Two labs, a retriever and a Catahoula mix. I have never know my life without a dog in it. Since I was little I would help take care of the dogs. From them being puppies to elderly dogs. I have watched my own dogs as well as others. I have also an accompanied a mobile dog groomer during her work. I helped wash the dogs as well as keep them calm and happy while she worked. I definitely learned A LOT about cleaning up after puppies while working with her. I am currently home for the summer from college and I do not have any other jobs so I have a lot of free time. I available all week except for when I will be out of town. I understand that every dog has different needs. I am fully flexible and willing to work with your dog in whatever way they need. For example, I have helped my dog through her fear of fireworks by wrapping her in a blanket and holding her (a little peanut butter helped too). Or if your dog needs a lot of exercise to stay calm and happy I will run around for hours. I am adaptable to the dog and I can help in whatever way is needed!
About: Stemming from a childhood with German shepherds, I’ve loved being constantly surrounded by animals for most of my life.
