About: I have had animals most of my like although I don't have any right now due to my seasonal work in Alaska. I will take care of your fur babies like they were my own. While I'm in California my schedule is completely flexible. I can come as often as you like or stay the whole time. I love animals and love spending my time with them. I will show your animals all the love and affection they want. If they are more of a loner, some cats are definitely loners, then I will just give them attention when they want it. I will stick to whatever your routine is so we don't cause them any stress.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and have watched friend’s, family’s, and neighbor’s pets for many years. I love all animals but have a soft spot for greyhounds, whippets or any sight hounds. I currently work during the weekdays but am available in the evenings and on weekends. I work full time but am available in the early mornings, afternoons, evenings or weekends! I’m based in Aptos so have more flexibility for walks and drop ins if you’re close to here. I’m happy to come to your home to take care of your pets, but cannot host them at my current place. I always treat your home with full respect, and happy to help with other housesitting related things like getting your mail or watering plants.

We both work remotely which makes us very flexible for pet care. I can work remotely from anywhere on my laptop (part time!) which allows me plenty of time to care for your dog or cat. About: I have been caring for my 13 year old dog, Molly, for 11 years. I am also an active volunteer at the county animal shelter, working with dogs (1,000+ hours) and cats (400+ hours). I have a special place in my heart for dogs with behavioral and medical needs, and working with them at the shelter has taught me patience and skills that help to make the animals more comfortable. I also have training in puppy care, senior dog care, walking leash-sensitive dogs, and caring for injured animals. I truly love taking care of all kinds of animals, I have had dogs and cats all my life and I am attuned to their needs and varying personalities. I have 5 years professional pet sitting experience and I been a dog mom to large dogs for 10+ years. Brian has been a dog parent to large dogs for 30 years. We are always the person that my friends, co-workers and neighbors come to when their dogs or cats need care. We both love spending time outside in nature, hiking, and keeping an active lifestyle your pet will enjoy. We do not own any pets, so we are always looking forward to having new companions to welcome into our home. We love to take dogs outside to explore nature, play a game of fetch, beach romps, and redwoods hikes. We are experienced with dogs from puppies to elders, especially with senior dogs. We can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! We are available for long weekends and most holidays. Our guest dogs stay, nap and play in an open environment. We want to know what would make a fun and happy stay for your dog. We live in the fog belt along the coast so it stays nice and cool here when its hot everywhere else. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: We to keep your dogs patterns as close to the way they are at home as possible. If your dog sleeps in their own bed or crate we will honor that. Typically their bed is in our room or the living room. We allow dogs on our bed, and have a dedicated dog couch so they can relax in the living room and are treated like a member of the family. My partner Brian’s schedule has recently changed so we can only board weekends, or possibly over a long weekend: We can take a Friday evening drop off at 5pm earliest, and can schedule a Monday morning pickup until 10 am or so. We live in a quiet, low-traffic beach neighborhood of Aptos, with a front and back fenced in yard, a two minute walk to a dog friendly beach, and 5 minute drive to a redwoods state park. The backyard is shared with my awesome neighbor who own a dog. The backyard has a fence that is split down the middle, and he is kept on his side of the fence. He is only let outside occasionally, under supervised conditions. We do not allow guests dogs into the backyard when he is present, until we have had time to properly introduce them. He is friendly, but we always take care to introduce dogs. Our front yard has a low fence so our guest dogs are only allowed in the front yard under supervision, the backyard has a much higher fence, and we have a sliding glass door so they can go outside easily. We can crate your dog if needed. Both yards have shade, flower gardens, and are wonderful places to take a nap in the sun.

We have Schwan Lagoon trails, and an assortment of beach walks close by. I have a nice sunny balcony with bed/cot and many dog neighbors. If they love people, I have no problem taking them out to socialize.

My dog is very friendly with small breeds she grew up with chihuahas so she thinks she’s one too.. lol Larger dogs it takes her a minute to get comfortable she can be territorial. Although when I board other dogs I crate her.

About: I love dogs, have had my own but school and work are too demanding for full time care. In the time I have your dog rest assured they will be treated as if they were my own.
