About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. We enjoy the rhythm of our daily routines just as much as all of our animals. To keep it humming everyone works in concert sharing the load of responsibilities.

About: With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs, I adapt effortlessly to every personality, delivering reliable, safety first care that keeps your pets safe, happy, and on their normal routines. As a remote software engineer with a flexible schedule, I easily build my daily routine around your pet's needs, providing attentive, reliable care whenever they need it. I care for your pets in their home environment with strict security, double checked locks, floor hazard checks, and detailed text and photo updates after every visit.
“Bianca was so great with Olive! Her communication and care for her was fantastic. She understood olives quirks and put our tips and commands to work. I had a last minute meeting come up and she extended the sit without issue. So happy to have found and met Bianca!”

“Jenni took care of our pup for the day. She was very sweet and a good communicator. She has a small place but she took Archie to the beach at the river. At the end of the stay she drove him to meet us so we didn't have to backtrack to pick him up. She arrived on time and sent a photo during the stay.”

“Josslyn was very kind and loving to my dog Elsa. She had a very calm and soothing way about her, which intern made Elsa feel right at home with her and her dog Nova. I would recommend her to anyone needing her experienced services.I will diffently use her again.”

“I am so happy Enzo got to spend time with Anusha. He was such a happy tired boy, by the time I picked him up he was ready for a long nap. She did a fantastic job providing me with videos of him playing in her beautiful backyard, snuggling and napping. And really happy she had another dog for Enzo to play with. She walked him and played fetch. I would absolutely give Anusha five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ she was also very friendly and nice. 👍 I am sure Enzo will be happy to be dropped off to be puppy-sat again sometime soon.”

“If you’re in the area and need someone to watch your dog, or if your dog needs a fun vacation, this is absolutely the place for your pooch! Marina and her husband are super nice and communicative, and their property is incredible with a fully fenced, 3 acre dog park with plenty of shade and space to run around in a beautiful setting, and they have 2 wonderful dogs for your pooch to play with. They sent regular updates on how our dog was doing, and Marina’s husband is an aspiring photographer so in addition to quality care for your dog you’ll get a free photoshoot of your dog playing and chilling with their new dog friends. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I have owned and cared for two dogs, including one who lived to the remarkable age of 22. My current dog is 15 years old and still acts like a puppy, giving me valuable experience caring for both senior dogs and energetic companions. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have been dog sitting for friends and neighbors since I was around 13 or 14 years old. Over the years, I have gained experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining their regular routines while their owners are away. I understand that every dog is unique and deserves patient, attentive care. Whether your dog loves outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply relaxing with a companion, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My goal is to provide dependable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their dogs are in good hands. I am currently a part time surf instructor. My schedule varies week to week depending on how many lessons are booked. That means I will have lots of time to hang out and take care of your dogs! I live in a nice neighborhood with a spacious backyard that is fenced in with a mix of astroturf and small rocks. I also have a shed in the back where the dogs can hang out when it is either raining or when it is super hot outside. It is a perfect hangout spot for your dogs to enjoy!
About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends, relatives and clients for years. Our house is their pets’ second home when they travel or need us. I can do the same for you, too. During the weekend I am mostly home. Weekdays, I partially work from office and home. There is plenty of time to spend time with your pet or walk them frequently. My husband works from home full time, so there is always one or two adults at home. We live in a single house with a fenced backyard, and there is a big greenbelt right outside our backyard ( see images). Therefore it’s very convenient for frequent walks or play time for your pet. They can also meet other dogs as well. As a family, we are comfortable with being around furry friends. We volunteer with my daughters at a local farm cleaning, caring, patting…. Love it! Our own cat-Zeytin is very calm and friendly. We love to play, walk, cuddle, spend some quiet time with our pet and guest pets and will do the same with yours, too. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet! Nevin

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
