About: I’ve taken care of and owned animals of all kinds since childhood. Taught and trained by my mother, who’s been a vet tech for over 40 years! I have extensive knowledge of proper pet care practices and continue to keep up to date with all the latest information and research. I have experience handling, training, and caring for pets of various sizes and breeds; including large-small dogs, senior dogs & cats, puppies & kittens, and high needs pets! About: When I was 10 I moved with my family and my neighbors had two Rottweilers that terrified me so much that I had to cross the street to walk by their house. One day I went up to my neighbor and asked to meet them and they ended up becoming my best friends in the neighborhood, and I would feed and walk them every-time my neighbors went out of town. Ever since then I have loved dogs no matter how big or scary, and have taken care of pets for my friends and family, from little cocker spaniels to German shepherds and everywhere in between. I am currently in the midst of a job search, so my availability is open to look after and pets for the time being. I have spent a lot of time this year pet/housesitting for my parents and a few of my friends. I currently do not have any pets at my home since I have a studio apartment with not a lot of space, but I have reliable transportation and I live close to a few parks, beaches, and woods where I take dogs that I am looking after. I’m good about sticking to scheduled walk and meal times and am a fairly active person so your dog will get plenty of exercise!

About: I love pet sitting for any animal! Cats are my soft spot but I have had most of my clients on rover for dog sitting :) Currently taking a break from school so my schedule has opened up immensely! Yuliya is definitely a cat person, and our cats took to her right away! Our older cat Plum can be a little prickly if overstimulated, so seeing pictures of her rubbing up against Yuliya’s leg made me feel secure that my cat felt comfortable and safe. We also loved seeing photos of our younger, more active cat Lyra getting plenty of play time and affection. She understood and expressed the importance of routines for cats, especially when their people are away, and her care for our cats reflected that. Our cats have a fairly complicated food routine, and Yuliya did well adhering to it. Part way through our trip, she noticed that one of our cat’s food was running low, let us know, and even measured out how many portions were left to ensure there would be enough to last the rest of our trip. We are the type of cat owners who appreciate very detailed visit summaries, and it would’ve been great to have had a little more of that, but we did receive lots of photos and enough written updates to feel that our cats were in safe and caring hands. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
