“Michael and wife Patti gook wonderful care of Gigi for a week. Without hesitation, I booked them for a return visit. Their house and yard is ideal-- fully-fenced front and rear, no restrictions on furniture, and a dog door (their own little dog recently passed away, sadly.) They even invited Gigi to sleep on their bed. Patti took Gigi on a couple of walks to the beach and gave lots of tummy rubs. It was clear from Gigi bouncing around their house when I returned to pick her up that she absolutely enjoyed her doggy vacation!”

“Absolutely amazing! Sent updates regularly and my dog was exceptionally happy being there. Place is great for running around and all dogs are happy being there. Strongly recommend!”

“Extremely happy with our booking with Anusha. Great communication with video and text updates throughout the days Buddy stayed. Felt very comfortable leaving him in Anusha’s care. I would recommend Anusha to anyone and would use her again🤓”

“This was our first time using Kimberly’s services for our chihuahua terrier, Zoe. Kimberly was excellent and took good care of Zoe and sent us regular updates and pictures. Zoe seemed very comfortable and happy. Highly recommended!!”

“Always a pleasure to have Juliana take care of my senior dog. She's very caring and attentive to his needs and medication schedule. She also sends plenty of pictures and updates!”

“I was lucky to find Michelle and Michael. My dog is young golden retriever with high energy. Michelle and Michael gave my dog plenty of cuddles and attention. They gave my dog long walk and played fetch with him. Michelle sent me updates frequently that helped relieve my separation anxiety. I couldn't be happier to have my dog stay with Michelle and Michael, who are really nice and caring people.”

“Julie was amazing. Our first time using Rover and 100% would book her again. She sent pictures and updates frequently and I think Oreo would have chosen to stay longer if he had the option.”

“Brian and his son Kyle are absolutely wonderful sitters! They’ve taken such great care of our French bulldog, Charlie. She is always so happy to see them and comes home relaxed and well-loved. It’s such a comfort knowing she’s with people who treat her like family. Highly recommend!”
“This is the second time yami has stayed with Joyce. Joyce provided frequent updates about how yami was doing and her family showed yami a lot of care and attention.”

“Steve took great care of my dog and my dog loved being there. Steve kept me updated and sent me pictures of dog. Highly recommend Steve and will be rebooking with him for next time.”

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, both my own and others’. I’m currently in a veterinary technician program, which gives me good perspective on the unique needs of your animals. I also have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments and life stages as well as cats and even rabbits. I can handle high energy dogs or puppies as well. I am in a veterinary technician program that I do remotely, which gives me the flexibility to care for your pets any day of the week! I live in a house with an unfenced yard, therefore because safety is my top priority I will always walk your dog on a leash for potty breaks and outdoor sniffing- they will never be left unattended. I have the capacity to take your dog out for activities like beach walks or hikes, as well as just chilling or snuggling. Because of my schedule I can also accommodate frequent bathroom breaks and specific feeding times. I have a very sweet, friendly resident cat who loves company. We love hosting dogs who are already socialized and comfortable around cats! My only other ask is that your pup be potty trained :)
“I had a wonderful experience with Dipanjana and felt completely at ease leaving my dog in her care. She was attentive, communicative, and clearly genuinely cared about making my dog feel comfortable and happy. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog came home relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. I truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness throughout the stay. I would absolutely trust her with my dog again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“When our regular sitter wasn’t available for the last night of our vacation, Christy and Cornell came to the rescue. Zoey was very happy and cared for at pickup and they were great communicators!”

“Nancy and her husband welcomed our dog with open arms. She responded very quickly to our request and we were able to set up a meet and greet that same night. She took very good care of our fur baby Chloe. We got pictures and updates every day. She was very flexible with the pick up and drop off times, which is a ++. We will definitely use her service again. She is highly recommended.”

About: Experienced dog owner and sitter. Studied dog psychology to become a good dog parent. Had two female spaniels who passed earlier this year. We used to compete in dog frisbee and hunt. Also have experience working in a grooming salon, as well as walking and boarding various size dogs - from labs and German shepherds to Jack Russel terriers and mini Aussies. Additionally at no cost I can provide basic behavioural training and teach new tricks - I love to communicate with dogs of any breed and move in one rhythm with them. And I really feel their needs and able to connect with dogs of all ages. I can board puppies and older dogs, take them for a walk someplace new and play ball or frisbee. But safety and well-being is my main focus and if your dog doesn't want too much activity, I can provide a more mellow experience, too. Available on weekdays and weekends but please make appointments at least 2 days in advance. I would love to meet your furry friend! I'm working remotely from home part-time, so have lots of time to spend with doggies. I'm available both weekends and weekdays and rarely leave home for more than a couple hours, so your dog won't be alone for too long. I have a fenced backyard and deck, and two mellow spaniels to keep your doggo company. I also have a crate where your pet can rest if needed.
“Jenna was super great to work with! Easy to communicate with and quick to accept the booking. Lola had an amazing time with her pup and kids. Would definitely work with them again :)”

“Excellent job again with my reactive guy. He was calm after she left which has not always been the case with dog sitters after they leave. She takes time to mellow him out and it pays off. Very grateful for your kindness and care for my pup <3”

“Such a gem! I've used Lillian on multiple occasions & have been able to travel with complete peace of mind knowing my kitties are in good hands. They warmed up to her right away & enjoy her presence when I'm away. I really appreciate her updates & flexibility. Absolutely recommend her services⭐️”

About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life. I’m currently in a veterinary technician program, giving me perspective on the needs of cats of all temperaments and life stages. I know every cat is unique and has their own wonderful personality; I currently have a cat of my own as well
About: Throughout my younger years at home beginning in middle school, I have been the neighborhoods pet sitter. Whether it was dog walking, cat sitting, and even duck sitting, I was always happy to help. Growing up I always had a special place in my heart for animals. I had everything ranging from a tortoise to a pet rabbit and of course a dog. Growing up in Santa Cruz, I have always enjoyed having an active lifestyle and love getting outside with both high-energy dogs and senior pets who need a slower pace. As someone who played multiple sports all throughout High School, I have become especially good at my time management skill's especially when others are relying on me. As a second-year Agriculture Business student at Cal Poly, I am a dependable, organized, and committed person who takes jobs seriously. You can expect clear communication, updates with both texts and photos, and someone who will give your pet not just the exercise, but also all the love and attention they need to keep them happy and safe. With a shorter Summer this year, I have a ton of free time and am open to dog walking, house sitting, or if needed just drop-in visits. I am available on pretty much all weekdays as well as all day on weekends. Anytime you need a helping hand you can count on me to be there. During walks your pets safety and comfort is my top priority. I always stay aware of my surroundings especially if your dog is more sensitive to others I will make sure to cross the street or do what’s needed to keep your dog in the best hands possible. I also adjust my pacing based on your dogs energy and comfort levels. I am also comfortable handling big or strong dogs keeping them securely leashed unless instructed otherwise. For drop-in visits or house sitting I always follow instructions carefully making sure to go over anything with you I am not 100% sure about before I begin, in order to maintain your pets routine and minimize stress on your pet. I also respect your home and property as if it were my own and will provide consistent updates and photos so you feel comfortable and confident in your pets safety. I just got done with my Freshman year at Cal Poly and have a ton of time this Summer for dog walking and/ or dog sitting. I take my dog on daily beach walks and hikes as well as throw him the ball daily. I am more than willing to stay at my clients house and take care of their pets.

“Yuliya was great! She took great care of our cat and home. She also sent lots of photos and had excellent communication throughout the process. I would definitely have her back! Thank you so much Yuliya!”

“Tarah was fantastic! She did 4 drop-ins a day with our 2 dogs and always sent updates and photos. Our Whippet/Husky mix can be quite a rascal, but Tarah handled her energy very calmly. Very friendly and reliable.”

About: Hi, I’m Nicolina! I’ve spent the last 10 years working in animal rescue and have been a proud pet owner my entire life. If you're looking for someone who truly understands animal behavior and safety, you've found them. Why choose me? Clinical Experience: Years of working in vet clinics and rehab centers mean I’m trained to handle everything from routine care to emergency situations. Educated Care: I've taken college level courses in animal training and care. Future Vet: I am continuing my journey into Veterinary Medicine this September! I am committed to treating your pets with the same high standard of medical awareness and love that I give to my own.

“Wonderful care, as always! Tula is an old lady now, but AnnMarie is so sweet and attentive to her needs. She always goes above and beyond to make sure our kitty is comfortable and safe, and our house is always well-cared for. We so appreciate the job well done!!”

“Callie takes such good care of our pets! She always fits us in last minute and goes above and beyond. You can tell she really cares about making sure our pets (dog & cat) are well cared for in our absence. Even our shy kitty came to greet her.”

About: Since I was a kid, I have loved all animals. I was fortunate enough to learn how to take care of multiple pet cats and rabbits in our home. I previously volunteered at a bird rehabilitation center, and interned with a sea turtle conservation group in order to help save hatchlings. I also assisted my family in training our pit bull, who was adopted as an extremely anxious and reactive year old puppy. With compassion and patience, he is now a confident adult dog. In addition to pet-sitting, I currently volunteer at the animal shelter in my spare time, providing enrichment to dogs of various ages, breeds, and temperaments. I have taken care of a variety of pets, from cane corsos to chickens. I love spending my time with animals and will make sure I do everything to keep them entertained and at ease. With each animal I meet, I aim to understand their needs and behavior in order to provide proper care. I’m currently in graduate school, so while I am taking classes and working part-time, my schedule is often flexible. I am happy to accommodate you and your pets’ schedule to the best of my availability. I try my best to update my rover calendar, but please know it may not be 100% accurate as my work schedule is weather-dependent. I am flexible and hope to meet the needs of each individual pet and owner. I am happy to come to your home, or take your pets outside in various parks or beaches around town. For your pet’s safety and well-being, I exclusively walk dogs on a leash. I prefer not to use retractable leashes and can bring my own leash if necessary. I require a meet and greet prior to all first time clients. While taking care of your pets, I keep my phone notifications on and respond promptly.
“Melanie was so awesome and really made us feel comfortable being away from our cat, Buster. She was so attentive in taking care of Buster, and being so patient in waiting for him when he was late for her visit. She went above and beyond to help us with our service when we had to extend our trip. We will be asking for her again on our next trip away. Thank you again, Melanie! ?❤️Diane and Mark”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for 30 years. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. My own dogs have graduated top of their class in puppy training school. I currently work from home, so I can arrange my schedule to make sure dogs in my care get all the love, affection, and attention they need and deserve. I have a small fenced in yard, good for small and medium dogs. My dog is friendly and even shares some toys. I can crate your dog if preferred. I am also within walking distance to a dog park, and an easy drive to dog beaches
“Be honest Guillermo is the first rover I will leave review for. He's very patient to the puppy. My dog is a young eskimo who is very hyper everyday. Guillermo brought my dog for several walks everyday and send me pictures. My dog came back home tired lol. He's very responsible as well! My dog learn several tricks from him. He's the best rover I've met. I go travel a lot. I will definitely come back if I travel.”

About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. Hilo and Koa go most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel, fenced yard or inside depending on weather. We enjoy the rhythm of our daily routines just as much as all of our animals. To keep it humming everyone works in concert sharing the load of responsibilities.
“Bianca was so great with Olive! Her communication and care for her was fantastic. She understood olives quirks and put our tips and commands to work. I had a last minute meeting come up and she extended the sit without issue. So happy to have found and met Bianca!”

“Keren is thorough and professional with her service! Upon meeting my lab she took her through simple steps to acclimate and make her feel comfortable in her surroundings! She asked lots of questions and made sure she had all the information needed to make my puppy and me feel welcome and less stress for the first time! When I picked up my puppy she was happy and had bonded with Keren and her children! My pup was tired and slept all the way home and throughout the evening! I would highly recommend Keren and plan on using her service if we go on vacation! I wouldn’t worry about my sweet lab while she is in Keren’s hands!!”

“I am over the moon about Daisy's full-day stay with Shannon and her family! I knew that Daisy had a great day because she fell fast asleep on the way home, and while she was happy to see me at pick-up, I could also tell she really liked her hosts. She went back and forth greeting me and going back to Shannon or her husband to get her head scratched; there was big tail wagging going on there! Shannon is certainly knowledgeable and experienced in caring for dogs, responsible, kept my pup safe, and supported Daisy's quirks and needs. She and her family followed my requests and instructions perfectly. Shannon sent pictures, which my husband and I so appreciated, and was responsive and clear in all her communications. She was flexible when I requested a time change for drop off and was fine when I wanted to come a bit earlier than scheduled for pick up. Daisy will be very excited, and I will be very happy & confident leaving her again with Shannon ~ I highly recommend her to care for your pet! You get her and her wonderful family!”

About: For walks: I'm very experienced at dog waking. I can handle big and small dogs. I can move at any pace on walks including running. I like to let the dog set the pace. For drop ins and sitting: I will comfort your dog while you are away as well as feeding them, walking them, and playing with them. I can also give medications orally, but I can't inject any medications. I'm currently a student and since all my classes are online, I will have plenty of time for your pets.

“Jenna was super great to work with! Easy to communicate with and quick to accept the booking. Lola had an amazing time with her pup and kids. Would definitely work with them again :)”

“Debra did a great job of making us and our dog, Skye, feel welcome. She sent us daily updates with pictures of Skye with her family or out taking walks. She was a last minute provider for us as our usual care person was not available for the dates we needed. She only keeps one guest dog at a time. Skye and her dog, Ginger, got along well.”

“Zonic was well looked after by Madhumita, she would update me with photos and sometimes video clips of Zonic every morning. I highly recommend Madhumita as she is a caring and detail person.”

“We left our dog Bo for the first time. Jatin worked very well with Bo. We were impressed with the reliability of the images Jatin sent of Bo throughout the day, and his interactions with the other pups. Jatin is responsive to questions and feedback, which we highly valued. We will book Jatin again. We finally have a home away from home for Bo when needed.”

“Lana took great care of our golden Maggie over the Christmas holiday. Maggie had plenty of exercise at the nearby park and Lana provided great pics of Maggie throughout the course of the stay. Definitely recommend and will use again in the future.”

“If you have a doodle, you know they are a species of their own. And Sepia's home is the best place for them. She is the most caring, kind and gentle dog sitter I met. She treats them as their own and cares for them as a pro. She sent tons of videos and photos everyday and took care of all his needs. We feel like Indigo had the best time ever with his aunty and cousin and made a lot of wonderful new friends. Even when she takes more than a dog a the time, she is very thorough in her interview process and only doggies that matches will stay together. We all are so grateful we found her and I know our pup loooooves her too!”

“Amelia is wonderful! We were so happy to be able to be away and know that she's taking good care of our pup. The fact that our anxious little dog loves her says it all.”

“Wow simply amazing. Meghan is so kind and took incredible care of my dog Luna. I received multiple updates with photos and it brought me peace of mind since this was my first Rover experience. She took her on several walks and made Luna feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend Meghan and I’m incredibly thankful she was able to watch Luna on such short notice.”

“Yajaira and her dog Luna are AMAZING! My dog is anxious and often scared. She met me and my dog prior to confirming the booking which worked out well. Her dog Luna is amazing with other dogs and incredibly cute. She really helped my dog feel at ease and trust the situation. Yajaira sent me multiple pictures daily, took her to the beach, administered medications and even gave her a bath. Thank you for taking such good care of her! Yajaira and Luna are definitely my go to from now on for dog boarding :) I HIGHLY recommend her services!”
