About: I have had dogs all my life and a good pup brings me joy. I have 1 dogs of my own that I love to take on long walks, hiking, and to the beach. I would love to share those experiences with your loved ones aka dogs!! I know we live in busy world and sometimes we need just a little help keeping the pups happy, please let me help so you don't have feel guilty for not taking your buddy out. A few things your dogs will experience while in my care are attention, love, affection, and of course some treats if you will allow. I am a very out going person and your pups will be in good hands. I am here to help. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for your pets to take on walks and more. I am available on weekends and weekdays. All dogs I for care will receive walks, snuggle time and more throughout the day, rather they are in my home or their home. Thanks
“Quynh did an amazing job taking care of our dogs during her drop-in visits. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy and comfortable. Communication was great, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Quynh again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! 🐾”

“Delaney is amazing. Even with somewhat short notice she came through for me and provided an amazing experience. Rosa loved her and I would not hesitate to ask Delaney to come back. Wonderful girl, sweet and caring, everything a person could ask for. Highly recommended.”

“Shylynn did a fantastic job taking care of my two cats while I was out of town for two weeks. It was clear that Noodles and Butter were well cared for, and everything in the house was left in great shape! I really appreciated her reliability and her communication with me while I was gone was excellent. I highly recommend booking with Shylynn as your next pet sitter.”

“She took great care of our pups! When she met them they warmed up to her really quickly which is a great sign! When we met her we knew instantly that it was a good match. She communicated very well and we were very comfortable leaving our babies is her hands. I highly recommend you book her!!!!! We are already planning our next booking!”

“Serena was great to my little dog. LOL 😆 Hera is a 9 month old pup and she weighs a little over 90 lbs. Serena was very good with her, Hera loved her and was happy to see her. I will absolutely use her again top-notch to say the least.”

“Sara did a great job for their first drop-in engagement with Leo and Phoebe. They followed directions well, including play time, administering medication, feeding, litter box hygiene and sending me updates. They were easy to communicate with and helped to transition Leo to new food and medication while I was out of town. I will be rebooking them. Thanks Sara!”

“Melanie was amazing! Despite our last-minute booking, she was incredibly accommodating. We received detailed messages and multiple adorable photos of our cats, their food/water dishes, and cleaned litter box, every day, which gave us peace of mind during our trip. She followed our cat’s particular feeding instructions to a tee. She also engaged with them and had playtime during her visit. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. It’s not often that we find such reliable pet care or someone experienced with cats. We will definitely be return customers. Highly recommend!”

“Jerri did a great job playing with Kianna while my wife and I were out on a long trip. Jerri provided photos and videos to keep our mind at ease that our little elder cat was have fun and had good company”

About: Hello, I am new to the area. I am from Jacksonville, Fl but relocated to San Jose for my Fiancé’s job. I am excited to get to know the area, new people, and of course your pets! Let me introduce myself… I am dependable and kind. I will treat your animals like they are my babies, too! I will walk them, play with them, and if you allow them to get in the bed, I will snuggle with them! If they are not allowed on furniture I will sit on the floor and cuddle with them! ? I have been sitting family and friend's pets for years and through word of mouth have ventured out to all over the Jacksonville area and beyond. I have clients in St. Augustine, Fl and Ferdandina Beach, Fl. I love all breeds of dogs and have some experience with elderly animals. I can't wait to meet you and your fur babies; I will make them feel safe and secure! ❤️ I am a preschool teacher and work long hours throughout the week. My availability is to start dog sitting Friday night after work through Monday morning. This way your pet gets the most attention from me. I will love on them the way that you do. If they sleep with you at night? They will sleep with me too. I will try my best to make them feel like you have never left!
“Jake was fantastic! He took care of our pups needs as expected, but he went above and beyond with lots of TLC and snuggle time. Our guys loved him and were calm and relaxed when we got home to them. Thanks so much!! 🤗”

About: Over 20 years as a dog owner. I'm semi-retired. I've been watching friends' and friends of friends' pets for years. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.
“Fuliang did a great job. I felt my cat Alba was well cared for. I got a nice detailed report on the last day. Could have used a picture of my cat everyday but otherwise I am a very satisfied customer and will use this sitter again for my pet sitting needs.”

About: Welcome Pet Parent, thank you for checking my profile. I enjoy working with animals. My dream would be to have a ranch and rescue animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, mice, rats and fish. I am Dog and Cat First Aid Certified. I work well under pressure, and I can monitor pets that may have seizures. As well as look out for other potential health concerns. I enjoy learning dog and cat personalities. To know their needs for socialization, stimulation, games and walks. During dog walks, I am observant when encountering other dogs or people to ensure the safety of my client's dogs. I like to make sure my clients home is sharp and clean and ready for their return home. I give nothing short of my very best when I take care of your pets. I treat them as if they are my own. With love, care and affection. I look forward to hearing from you. I am working on multiple projects and have a flexible schedule. If I am given enough notice I do my best to accommodate new clients. When I come into client homes, I do nothing less than professional. I take good care of their pets and their home. If I have any questions or concerns, I communicate them. I also know a lot of professionals in veterinary field that I ask questions too. Their pet safety and safety of their home is priority. I do my best to adapt their pets routines during my time there to provide the best sitter experience for them while their humans are away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sveadal. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
