About: Hi! I’m Peyton. I’ve grown up with large dogs my whole life, so I’m very comfortable caring for and walking bigger, energetic dogs. I’m also a gymnastics coach, which means I’m responsible, active, and used to keeping things organized. I’ll make sure your pet gets lots of attention, exercise, and care! I currently work part-time and am a full-time student during the week. I’m available on Saturdays after 2 PM and all day Sunday for walks, drop-ins, and pet-sitting. I am a high school graduate this year and am excited to get to know you and your dog! At home, I make sure my dog gets plenty of attention by playing with him, taking him on walks, and spending time with him so he doesn’t feel lonely. I’ll make sure your dog gets the same care, exercise, and attention during our walks.
“Quynh did an amazing job taking care of our dogs during her drop-in visits. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy and comfortable. Communication was great, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Quynh again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! 🐾”

“Angelina was an incredible sitter for our 2 cats while we were out of town for a few days! The cats warmed up to her quickly and she always sent a bunch of photos and updates. I'd book her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I provide attentive and reliable care for pets of all kinds. I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and happy, whether it’s feeding, giving attention, or maintaining a clean environment. My goal is to make every pet feel secure and well cared for while their owner is away. I’m working from home so my availability is pretty open. I make sure pets have access to fresh water, proper feeding, and comfortable resting areas. I supervise all interactions, maintain a calm atmosphere, and follow any specific instructions from the owner to ensure their pet feels secure and well cared for at all times.
“Courtney was fantastic with Eaton! He's a grumpy old man with Cushing's disease and she made sure he was fed, watered, and medicated. Most importantly she went above and beyond in taking him on interesting walks so that he didn't turn into a lump of boredom while we were gone!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. I currently own an F2 Savannah cat, one of the most active, intelligent, and demanding exotic breeds, which has sharpened my ability to read animal behavior, establish routines, and provide both mental and physical stimulation for high-energy pets. I'm comfortable administering medications, managing feeding schedules, and handling pets that require extra patience or attention. My experience with an exotic breed means I'm unfazed by strong personalities, and I naturally create calm, structured environments that help animals feel secure. I treat every animal in my care the way I treat my own, with consistency, attention, and genuine affection. My flexible workday allows me to be present and fully available throughout the day, ensuring pets in my care are never left alone for long periods. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment at all times. Every animal in my care is supervised, secure, and treated with consistency, patience, and genuine attention.
About: I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember, including behavior and training. I believe that every dog is a good dog. I began my career in animal care at an exotic pet shop in my teens. Between retail gigs, I had the privilege of working at a rescue shelter and a zoo, where my passions for animal conservation and welfare continued to grow. After that I spent some time in the veterinary field, where I gained valuable experience as a veterinary assistant. It was working in the veterinary field where I really got to pursue my passion for working gently with anxious and "aggressive" animals. Due to some physical limitations, I am not able to work full-time anymore, so I am now taking time to focus on what I really love to do, which is making pet and owner's lives easier. In my free time, I love to crochet, play video and borad games, and go on hikes with my partner. I am currently available full time to walk, sit, or drop-in on your pet! I can make most days and times work. Let me know what you need. I am not able to host for pet-sitting currently, per my lease at my current living arrangement, but I am available to stay in the pet owner's home if requested.
About: I'm a hard dedicated and reliable Mother of two wonderful children, working and going to school full-time, and wanted to earn some extra money in doing something I love and enjoy. I always been passionate about all animal's, when I was a child I rescued and took care of many different species. My children are also animal lover's and great with animals as well. I care about animals well-being and believe they should be treated how we would like to be treated and nothing less. I'll be happy to lend a hand and care for someone's best friend, daughter or son while their gone because, I know animal's are like family at time's and not necessarily pet's. I can't wait to meet my next bestfriend!
About: HELLO ...... My story started at a young age. I was blessed with the gift of communicating with God's magnificent creatures. In my well-traveled journey, I have gained working vet tech experience, knowledge, and wisdom that spans over 30 years. My family and I founded a sanctuary for animals in Washington State that the SPCA recognized. We rescued, rehabilitated, trained, and provided education classes for the care and proper nutrition of all creatures, great and small. We have worked tirelessly with the SPCA for the welfare and prevention of animal cruelty and care. So whether you are traveling for work, relocating or pleasure we are here to help care for your fur baby. I am a single grandmother raising my only granddaughter, I wanted her to experience the unconditional love God's creatures can bring to her daily life. I am blessed to have my granddaughter work alongside me in this business venture. Rover has allowed me to grow my passion and experience into a loving home business in the Bay area area I am a home-based professional dog care specialist so I can be a hands-on grandmother while raising my granddaughter. So I try to be as flexible and accommodating for upcoming visits ( personal schedule permitting), Thank you, Stevie. I have a very dog-friendly fenced yard that your fur baby can have easy access to throughout their visit. Plus walkable neighborhood with parks for socialization, exercise, and play.

“Tracey is 100% trustworthy and professional. Not only did my pets respond very well to her, she took notes and made sure everything was perfect. We will certainly be going to her as our first option!”

About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. I like to take pictures and/or videos for you so you can get your daily dose of your pet!

About: My family and I have raised and owned pets in the house since I was a young child. As a member of your family, they deserve the utmost care and respect. I love playing and taking dogs out for walks. Entrusting your dog with me means they are given the same love and respect that you do, and hopefully going above and beyond. It’s a huge leap of faith leaving your animal with someone else and I hope to be like a secondary family member to your dog instead of just a caregiver! I currently have an open schedule. I can provide pet care as much or as little necessary. I am flexible and great with time management in order to provide the best service for your pets! It is important as a new person coming in to not disrupt you and your animals routine too much. I want to provide care that can match your daily life or needs as much as possible. Given the right information, I can follow instructions that will make you and your dog proud.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sveadal. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
