“We were leaving abroad for about two months. I’m very grateful to have found Weichen on Rover to take care of my cat. Weichen was very easy to communicate with and always thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire time. I really appreciated the care and attention given to my cat, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I’m very grateful for the help and would absolutely trust Weichen to take care of my cat again in the future. I highly recommend Weichen to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter on Rover.”

About: I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember, including behavior and training. I believe that every dog is a good dog. I began my career in animal care at an exotic pet shop in my teens. Between retail gigs, I had the privilege of working at a rescue shelter and a zoo, where my passions for animal conservation and welfare continued to grow. After that I spent some time in the veterinary field, where I gained valuable experience as a veterinary assistant. It was working in the veterinary field where I really got to pursue my passion for working gently with anxious and "aggressive" animals. Due to some physical limitations, I am not able to work full-time anymore, so I am now taking time to focus on what I really love to do, which is making pet and owner's lives easier. In my free time, I love to crochet, play video and borad games, and go on hikes with my partner. I am currently available full time to walk, sit, or drop-in on your pet! I can make most days and times work. Let me know what you need. I am not able to host for pet-sitting currently, per my lease at my current living arrangement, but I am available to stay in the pet owner's home if requested.
About: I’ve had several dogs over the years including puppies whom I’ve trained from scratch, as well as temperamental seniors. I love them all and they usually like me too. ☺️ To get $20 off your first booking, use this link: https://www.rover.com/sit/sonalv50918 I work part-time from home so I’m able to dedicate a lot of time and attention to your pet. Walking them is one of my favorite forms of entertainment and exercise. I have a 5 ft high fenced backyard and the Sierra Azul trail entrance is just a 5 minute walk from my house so there is plenty of walking terrain for your doggies. While at my house, your cutie pies will be allowed on the sofa and bed unless you say otherwise. I’m also able to drive out to your place and spend some cuddle time with your fur babies. Just let me know what their needs are, I’m adaptable.
“Elaine helped us tremendously over a couple of days when we weren’t around so much to take care of our pup. Clear communication, arrived and left on time as planned. Very reliable. Thank you so much Elaine!”

“5 stars! Tingting & Willow were fabulous cat sitters. Excellent communication, paid attention to details, and sent pictures daily of Mary. I highly recommend them!”

About: I have been pet and house sitting for 18+ years and work from home 3 days a week. I have a car and am pretty flexible Since I work from home 3 days a week with flexibility and often can do long weekends(Friday-Mondays). 2 days/week I work in San Francisco. I don’t mind dogs in my car or administering meds. Very familiar with cleaning litter boxes etc. I have a fenced yard and animals are okay to get on bed and couches. No smoking. Only 2 steps getting in/out of house. I have experience with post surgical care of my own pets.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. I currently own an F2 Savannah cat, one of the most active, intelligent, and demanding exotic breeds, which has sharpened my ability to read animal behavior, establish routines, and provide both mental and physical stimulation for high-energy pets. I'm comfortable administering medications, managing feeding schedules, and handling pets that require extra patience or attention. My experience with an exotic breed means I'm unfazed by strong personalities, and I naturally create calm, structured environments that help animals feel secure. I treat every animal in my care the way I treat my own, with consistency, attention, and genuine affection. My flexible workday allows me to be present and fully available throughout the day, ensuring pets in my care are never left alone for long periods. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-safe environment at all times. Every animal in my care is supervised, secure, and treated with consistency, patience, and genuine attention.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attentiveness I give every pet. I truly treat them like family and pay close attention to their comfort, behavior, and routine. I have experience caring for senior dogs, including those with mobility challenges or cognitive decline, and I’m comfortable assisting with medications, mobility support, and maintaining a calm environment. I’m also patient with puppies/younger pups and can reinforce basic commands to keep routines consistent. I can also care for cats, though do not have as much experiences with them compared to dogs. You can expect reliable communication, regular updates, and lots of love while you’re away. I have an extremely flexible schedule, so please let me know how I can best accommodate your needs! I am available 7 days a week from 10am - 10pm and can do later night check-ins (11pm-1am) if needed. I tailor my care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their established schedule — including feeding, walks, medications, crate time (if used), and any special instructions. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable, minimizing stress, and maintaining the environment they’re used to. I also provide regular updates with photos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I’m always happy to conduct a meet and greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.
About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. I like to take pictures and/or videos for you so you can get your daily dose of your pet!
About: I have been a veterinary technician since 2015. I always knew working with animals was my passion. Prior to being a vet tech, I was a dog trainer at Petco for 1.5 years. My expertise and knowledge in this industry is of no doubt. I currently work in an animal clinic close to home which is so convenient. I’m an active young mother so I enjoy outside time as well and love going on walks. I’m capable to administer subcutaneous fluids and medications of any sort if needed. My husband works from home so someone will be home all day with your fur baby! We go on 2 long walks daily along with 2 extra bathroom breaks in between. PREFERRED DROP OFF/ PICK UP TIMES : Monday - Friday before 7:20 AM OR after 6 PM. Saturdays & Sundays are completely open. This is just so we can meet each time. If needed outside those time frames my husband will the one to receive your furbaby ♥️ I currently do not have pets of my own, but I treat them all as if they were. The love, care, and attentiveness I carry within myself will show through your pet’s happiness and well being.
About: I've had dogs all my life from a newborn pup to old age. Animals are like family and will be in the best care while you are away. I work from home full time so am able to be with your pets all day so they will not be alone. Lots of playtime, exercise and belly rubs. Your pets will have their usual routine in your own home, or can mimic their routine in my home for an easy transition while you are gone. Pets are walked multiple times a day. I love playing with the dogs to expel that extra energy!
About: I've been an animal lover since day one and have been fortunate enough to have lived with many types of animals growing up. Dogs, cats, giant rabbits, toads, hermit crabs- you name it! I was an avid volunteer at the Santa Cruz SPCA for the last couple of years taking care of cats and dogs of all ages. I just lost my 15 year old dog and 22 year old cat in the last year so I am eager to be around animals again and treat them as I would my own. I take a very gentle approach and believe in meeting each pet exactly where they are whether they are social and friendly or shy and anxious. I’m in a transition period right now so my schedule is pretty flexible currently h h h h h h h hbu h hb . He did did disks Shenandoah j I j j in n n n n n n n nn n n n n n n j
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life. Caring for them isn’t something I picked up—it’s just part of who I am. For the past 15 years, I’ve worked alongside my mom caring for animals regularly, and I’ve also pet sat for friends and family throughout my life. Right now, I have five cats and one dog of my own, and over the years I’ve cared for many dogs with different personalities, needs, and routines. I know how much pets mean to the people who love them, and I take that responsibility seriously. I understand that every pet is different, and I treat them with patience, attention, and genuine care—like they’re my own. Because I work remotely, I have the flexibility to be available seven days a week, including weekends. I can provide consistent care, stay on your pet’s routine, and be there when needed—not just rushing in and out. I provide care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable. I follow their routine closely—feeding, walks, medications, and attention—while keeping things calm, consistent, and stress-free. I give them consistent attention, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
