“Serena was great to my little dog. LOL 😆 Hera is a 9 month old pup and she weighs a little over 90 lbs. Serena was very good with her, Hera loved her and was happy to see her. I will absolutely use her again top-notch to say the least.”

“Quynh did an amazing job taking care of our dogs during her drop-in visits. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy and comfortable. Communication was great, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We would absolutely book with Quynh again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! 🐾”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over seven years through the Wag! platform in addition to friends and family’s pups, and have experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. Over time, I’ve discovered that I truly excel with smaller, calmer, and more mellow dogs—and that’s where my focus is for Rover. I take a gentle, attentive approach to dog care, paying close attention to each dog’s comfort level, routine, and preferences. I’m especially mindful of dogs who thrive in quieter, low-stress environments and do best with patience and consistency. Whether it’s relaxed walks, cozy companionship, or simply maintaining their normal routine, my goal is always to create a safe, low-stress experience where dogs feel secure, respected, and genuinely cared for. Pet care is my top priority. My schedule is flexible so I may step away for some dog walks, but I am mindful of my schedule and adjust taking additional walks accordingly. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously in both my home and my clients’ homes. I approach every pet with patience and respect, allowing them time to adjust and feel secure in a new environment or routine. In my home, I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly space that’s especially well-suited for smaller, mellow pets. I have a fully fenced yard, and all outdoor time is closely supervised to ensure safety at all times. I’m mindful of doors, gates, and potential hazards, and I create a quiet environment where pets can relax without unnecessary stress or overstimulation. I closely follow each pet’s routine, feeding instructions, and any specific care preferences shared by their owner. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect and attention as my own. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain consistency with the pet’s normal schedule, and ensure their environment remains safe, familiar, and comfortable. I’m attentive to changes in behavior or mood and communicate promptly with owners if anything seems out of the ordinary. Above all, I aim to build trust—both with pets and their people—by being reliable, observant, and genuinely attentive to each pet’s well-being.

“Angelina was an incredible sitter for our 2 cats while we were out of town for a few days! The cats warmed up to her quickly and she always sent a bunch of photos and updates. I'd book her again in a heartbeat!”

About: Welcome Pet Parent, thank you for checking my profile. I enjoy working with animals. My dream would be to have a ranch and rescue animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, mice, rats and fish. I am Dog and Cat First Aid Certified. I work well under pressure, and I can monitor pets that may have seizures. As well as look out for other potential health concerns. I enjoy learning dog and cat personalities. To know their needs for socialization, stimulation, games and walks. I do my best to adapt their pets routines during my time there to provide the best sitter experience for them while their humans are away.

About: My family and I have raised and owned pets in the house since I was a young child. As a member of your family, they deserve the utmost care and respect. I love playing and taking dogs out for walks. Entrusting your dog with me means they are given the same love and respect that you do, and hopefully going above and beyond. It’s a huge leap of faith leaving your animal with someone else and I hope to be like a secondary family member to your dog instead of just a caregiver! I currently have an open schedule. I can provide pet care as much or as little necessary. I am flexible and great with time management in order to provide the best service for your pets! It is important as a new person coming in to not disrupt you and your animals routine too much. I want to provide care that can match your daily life or needs as much as possible. It is important to me to gather all the appropriate information and to follow instructions ensuring you and your pets happiness.
About: I’ve had several dogs over the years including puppies whom I’ve trained from scratch, as well as temperamental seniors. Walking them is one of my favorite forms of entertainment and exercise. I have a 5 ft high fenced backyard and the Sierra Azul trail entrance is just a 5 minute walk from my house so there is plenty of walking terrain for your doggies. While at my house, your cutie pies will be allowed on the sofa and bed unless you say otherwise. I’m also able to drive out to your place and spend some cuddle time with your fur babies. Just let me know what their needs are, I’m adaptable.
About: I will treat your fur baby like my own! I have had dogs my entire life. I understand animals and their needs. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I am a stay at home mom. “Courtney saved my bacon when I mis-booked my days with her. She got to Eaton ASAP and made sure he was fed and got his medication. She's a lifesaver and Eaton loves to go on walks with her.”

About: I’ve raised five dogs of my own from puppyhood; as well as watched the dogs of my friends and family since I was young. I’ve had everything from mixed breeds, to French bulldogs, pugs, and even a pit bull! I have experience with oral medication administration and elderly dog care. My current dog was in my care before he could be weened, so I know plenty about little puppies! I believe in keeping my dogs as active as their health permits, so walks are a crucial part of the day for me. (If they can, of course. I’ve also had a senior dog with arthritis I’ve accommodated.) I have a knowledge of dog psychology and feel that it’s important to recognize dog behavior correctly. I’m currently working part time with a flexible schedule. As long as I know ahead of time, I’m most likely able to accommodate your pet. I always care for your pet as requested. Whether or not your pup is crate trained doesn’t matter, I’ve cared for both. If your dog needs medication, walks at certain times, a health specific diet, has allergies, can’t be around certain animals/noises/environments- I will go out of my way to make sure your pets needs are met. I will always treat your pet as my own.
“This was our first visit by Shaden and she was wonderful. Took very good care of our 4 slightly high maintenance cats. We will be sure to have her back at another time. Thank you!”

“Venkata went above and beyond watching Bear. Bear is a puppy with serious separation anxiety so I was glad to see his good temperament when I got home. Venkata clearly spent time to nurture him and address his emotional and physical needs. I highly recommend her.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mountain Home. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
