“Marissa is friendly and a great communicator, keeping us up to date on our pups. She took excellent care of our 2 large retrievers, was patient with our elderly lab who needs medications and is stubborn to come inside from walks and potties (he just loves to be outside!) We would absolutely request Marissa as a pet sitter again!”

“I’ve used Johnathan twice so far to feed and walk both of my dogs while I’ve been away. He has remained consistent, communicative, and flexible and I really appreciate his thorough updates and lots of photos after each visit. Being available last minute has been a huge relief also! Having both a hyper, younger dog and a senior dog can be a lot but he handles them well and makes sure to accommodate all of their needs correctly - diapers, medication, etc. and I feel like I can trust his services. I have never had to rely on a stranger for my children before but Johnathan made the process smooth and straight forward from the start. I was very impressed with the schedule he put together for them with all of my details - instructions to my apt, where to park, etc. He’s on top of it!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attentiveness I give every pet. I truly treat them like family and pay close attention to their comfort, behavior, and routine. I have experience caring for senior dogs, including those with mobility challenges or cognitive decline, and I’m comfortable assisting with medications, mobility support, and maintaining a calm environment. I’m also patient with puppies/younger pups and can reinforce basic commands to keep routines consistent. I can also care for cats, though do not have as much experiences with them compared to dogs. You can expect reliable communication, regular updates, and lots of love while you’re away. I have an extremely flexible schedule, so please let me know how I can best accommodate your needs! I am available 7 days a week from 10am - 10pm and can do later night check-ins (11pm-1am) if needed. I tailor my care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their established schedule — including feeding, walks, medications, crate time (if used), and any special instructions. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable, minimizing stress, and maintaining the environment they’re used to. I also provide regular updates with photos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I’m always happy to conduct a meet and greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.

About: I have been pet and house sitting for 18+ years and work from home 3 days a week. I have a car and am pretty flexible Since I work from home 3 days a week with flexibility and often can do long weekends(Friday-Mondays). 2 days/week I work in San Francisco. Only 2 steps getting in/out of house. I have experience with post surgical care of my own pets.
About: I have had dogs and cats in my family home since I was a child. My mom and I provided fostering services and we took care of any needs the pets had. We had to deal with many emergency situations and we got very familiar with animals and what they need. I have also volunteered at the Humane Society and helped in any way that I could. I give my 100% to animals because they don't have a voice and they all deserve the best care! I treat the animals like I would like to be treated myself. I will always make sure to check on their needs and be very proactive. I have a dog friendly apartment community that is perfect for dog walking as well. I also have watched a lot of senior dogs, and I’m very familiar with giving them their medication and taking extra good care of them. I work from home full-time, so I am able to give your dogs the attention they need and take them out however often you would like. I am very good with animals and understanding what they need. I am extremely attentive and over protective and I am always monitoring my pets and others pets at all times. I just want to make sure they are happy and comfortable at all times. I truly believe in making the owner, feel confident and comfortable that they can enjoy their time away by knowing that their baby will have the best care.
“Laura did an amazing job taking care of my Roxie! She was able to come through last minute when a different sitter fell through at the last moment before I had to leave town. She always informed me when arriving and if there were any issues. I would highly recommend her especially if you have a senior dog. She took extra good care of her!!”

“Our shy cat warmed up to Crystal on the first visit which is pretty rare. I think he sensed right away that he’d be in good hands and he wasn’t wrong. We really loved the long notes and several photos that Crystal sent us daily. She followed our detailed notes perfectly and was very respectful of our home. This was our first time using Rover and we won’t hesitate to use it again. Our experience with Crystal was great and we highly recommend her!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. I currently own an F2 Savannah cat, one of the most active, intelligent, and demanding exotic breeds, which has sharpened my ability to read animal behavior, establish routines, and provide both mental and physical stimulation for high-energy pets. I'm comfortable administering medications, managing feeding schedules, and handling pets that require extra patience or attention. My experience with an exotic breed means I'm unfazed by strong personalities, and I naturally create calm, structured environments that help animals feel secure. I treat every animal in my care the way I treat my own, with consistency, attention, and genuine affection. My flexible workday allows me to be present and fully available throughout the day, ensuring pets in my care are never left alone for long periods. Coyote cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kierstin did a wonderful job taking care of our kitty! She was able to and willing to add the additional care of giving our kitty eye drops twice a day after a recbent eye scratch. She communicated well and gave us lots of updates, which was helpful with our kitty’s health not being 100% while we were gone. We have used her several times and would absolutely use her again!

Desirea does a wonderful job taking care of my outdoor cat. She is flexible with my feeding setup and is always prompt and professional. When Desirea is caring for Shadow, I don't need to worry when I'm away, because I know he's well cared for. Thank you Desirea!
