A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, either around their neighborhood or for a hike at Santa Teresa or Quicksilver. Playing catch is the best! Sometimes they just need a good cuddle session, though. When I'm watching cats I like to wear them out by playing with feathers or little stuffed toys. They also love cuddles and being brushed. Guinea pigs and rabbits love to be played with, too!

Pet care experience
As a child my parents told my brother and myself that we could have any pets that we could take care of ourselves. We then started a small zoo, with turtles, rabbits, lizards, dogs, and anything else we rescued! At the age of 10 I started pet sitting and taking care of neighbors pets as well as my own. I have volunteered for rescue organizations as well as kept up with pet sitting. Now that my children are in their teen years I find that I have time on my hands to enter back into the world of animal care more than ever before. I work a full time job in addition to volunteering as a Girl Scout troop leader, but would love to help take care of pets in my downtime.
