About: My family and I have raised and owned pets in the house since I was a young child. As a member of your family, they deserve the utmost care and respect. I love playing and taking dogs out for walks. Entrusting your dog with me means they are given the same love and respect that you do, and hopefully going above and beyond. It’s a huge leap of faith leaving your animal with someone else and I hope to be like a secondary family member to your dog instead of just a caregiver! I currently have an open schedule. I can provide pet care as much or as little necessary. I am flexible and great with time management in order to provide the best service for your pets! It is important as a new person coming in to not disrupt you and your animals routine too much. I want to provide care that can match your daily life or needs as much as possible. It is important to me to gather all the appropriate information and to follow instructions ensuring you and your pets happiness.
“Honestly one of the best walkers we’ve ever had. Timely, communicative and understanding. One of our doggos is a rescue and has trust issues, so it can be challenging for new people to walk him. Sandi, however, has been incredibly patient with him and seems to have earned his trust. You won’t regret booking her!”

I would love to share those experiences with your loved ones aka dogs!! I know we live in busy world and sometimes we need just a little help keeping the pups happy, please let me help so you don't have feel guilty for not taking your buddy out. A few things your dogs will experience while in my care are attention, love, affection, and of course some treats if you will allow. I am a very out going person and your pups will be in good hands. I am here to help. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for your pets to take on walks and more. I am available on weekends and weekdays. All dogs I for care will receive walks, snuggle time and more throughout the day, rather they are in my home or their home. Thanks
About: I’ve taken care of family and friend’s dogs and cats: for 2 years now. Often times I would have their dogs stay with me. I kept them safe, cleaned, fed, and happy with play time and walks. I also have spent time with cats, doing drop-in visits, and feeding them. In addition I have an 11 year old cockapoo, so I can confidently say I have experience with animals and dogs that are different breeds and ages. I enjoy being around friendly animals. I’m currently off of school for the summer, so I’ll have lots of free time to take care of any friendly cats or dogs, happily! I enjoy taking morning walks with my dog, and would love to share this experience with other dogs! I am an owner to an 11 year old cockapoo who has a unique personality. I can confidently say I have great experience with taking care of pets. In addition I’ve taken care of 4 other dogs with different personalities and breeds, so I’ve gotten the hang of being adaptable. I offer dog walking and check-in services, providing exercise and care. Your pet will receive personalized attention, ensuring their happiness and well-being while you're away. I make sure your pet is well-fed, has water for hydration, and is being taken out for walks, bathroom breaks, and provided play time. I think it’s important for dogs to let out their energy, as storing energy can cause anxiety. In my eyes your dogs, are your children, and during my time and visits, they are my number one priority!
“I have asked Mary Ann to help with the care of our family dog twice now and both times she was responsive with booking, cleaning up an accident inside the house, giving meds and showing up in time frames requested. We are really grateful for her help and service.”

“I’m glad Kim was our first experience with Rover because we are dog sitting a potential second dog for our household, and it was important to us that we gave exercise to our puppy. He was professional and gave updates along the way from arrival to completion. Definitely more than satisfied with his services and will be rebooking!”

About: I have been working with dogs for about 3 years at a daycare and boarding facility. I absolutely love what I do! With my work experience I have training on understanding a dog's body language, and I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I currently work part time with flexible hours, essentially I make my own schedule. My work allows me to be flexible while providing pet care. Safety is a priority for me. Every dog is different and pet parents know their fur babies the best, so it is important for me to follow the request and instructions provided by the pet parent.

“Zhengjun is amazing! She’s very reliable and great with communication, always sending lots of photos and updates. My dog absolutely loves her. I’m so grateful for her extra care on rainy days, making sure my dog is clean and dry before heading back into his crate. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a thoughtful and caring walker!”

“Sydney has walked my dog, Louis, on several occasions. His interaction with Louis is very positive and Louis is excited when Sydney comes. Sydney has always been on time and sends pictures during the walk to let me know that he has Louis. I definitely recommend Sydney!”

“Jamie was wonderful to work with! She took the time to calmly listen as I shared all the details about my dog’s daily routine, arthritis, likes, and needs. I really appreciated how patient, attentive, and caring she was. She also showed me her home and backyard, which made me feel very comfortable and confident that my dog would be in a safe, loving environment. We had a great 30-minute walk together, and Jamie was so gentle and kind with my dog. It was clear that she genuinely cares about animals and takes the time to get to know each pet. I would definitely recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a compassionate pet caregiver. In fact, after our meet-and-greet walk, I felt so comfortable that I’ve already booked her to dog sit for my dog for 10 days in July. Thank you, Jamie!”

“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Mountain Home. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Mountain Home.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
