About: I’m a UC Santa Cruz Legal Studies graduate and former student athlete, originally from San Diego, who recently moved to LA. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I’ve cared for dogs throughout college and have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including through Unleashed by Petco, friends, family, and my own dog. I have a safe, comfortable home with a great patio, and would love to meet your dog and give them lots of love! My schedule is flexible and opened throughout the week here in Santa Cruz and I’m able to consistently fit in pet care. I have open availability on weekdays, weekends, and for overnights. I have enough flexibility to provide walks, drop-ins, and overnight care assuring all dogs I take care of get all the care they require and more. I have a safe, pet-friendly home with a large front yard and grassy patio that is fully fenced in. All dogs have plenty of safe space to relax and play. My home is a non-smoking environment, and I keep it clean and safe for all pets. I also have a dog of my own, so I’m used to daily care, structure, and making sure pets are comfortable and supervised at all times. I do pet care partly because I miss my own dog when I’m away, and I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and giving them attention. It feels natural to me, and I treat every dog I watch with the same care and attention I would want for my own.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, and I truly believe that they are a part of the family. I grew up hiking, training, and playing with my own dogs, as well as pet-sitting for my friends and family in high school. My two childhood dogs were both big and high-energy, so I have experience with dealing with intense personalities-from hyper puppies to senior dogs with health issues. I am also used to walking and taking care of two dogs at once, so if you have more than one pet, I am prepared. Most of all, I love seeing dogs happy, whether that be through taking them on walks or giving them love and attention. I am a UCSB student, but I am home for the summer (until I go back to school in mid-September), so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur-babies! I am available anytime of day, all days of the week. I am extremely responsible and detail-oriented, and I will do whatever I can to make sure your pets are safe and happy. I will send frequent updates and pictures as I understand the anxiousness that can come from being separated from your pet. I also have experience with taking care of dogs that need to take frequent medication or have other ailments, as my first dog (an Akita mix) was seizure prone and arthritic but, with much love and care, lived to be 16. She recently passed, so I am eager to love your dogs as if they were my own.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs. My parents and my sister have dogs that I help take care of and love to take on walks! I don’t have a dog of my own because I’m not allowed to have one where I live but I’d love to get my dog fix through helping take care of yours! I’m currently in the middle of finding a new job. I just moved back home from San Luis Obispo. I’m open weekdays mostly mid mornings. I walk/run down at rio almost everyday and love to stay active. Would love dog friends to join! I have a fenced yard off the main roads. My parents have a golden doodle and a couple of cats that love to run on the property plus it’s a very family oriented and friendly neighborhood.

About: I take my dogs for runs, and I travel with her some times! I love watching after dogs and being physical! Exercise is very important! Currently I live with family and they help take care of our animals as well and take my dog and cat for walks, we live in nature so they sun bathe and frolic . I can offer going to peoples houses and that means making sure they're well fed and entertained and just really taking care of them anyway they need. I've also had an animal that had surgery so I'm familiar with giving shots and pills as well!

About: I have experience with pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the past year along with having had all different breeds of dogs growing up and enjoy their company. I love to go for walks, hikes, the beach and would love to take your dog with me. I've had to give senior dogs medication and look after them. I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your fur baby when your away and I'm that person and I will treat them like royalty. I am home everyday at 12:00. My husband works from home so one of us is always home with your dog. I am ready when I get home to take your dog with me on a walk or hike. Your dog will have access to a dog run area all day long and a large backyard when we are home. I have a house with a large fenced in yard and your dog will have complete access to outside at all times. At this time I don't have a dog of my own, so there will be no conflict between dogs. I want your dog to feel at home as much possible.

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets.
