About: Hello, my name is Dawn and I love pets. I grew up with cats but over the last 20 years I have had dogs. They have been a part of my life since. I have raised pugs from puppies and had the joy of adopting an older daschund mix that I receive from the local shelter. I currently taking care of a frenchie now. I am very attentive to my dogs. They are a part of my family. They get fresh water and healthy food during the day. I walk then often and give them tons of TLC. I would treat your doggies the same way that I would treat mine. I live in Santa Cruz County. I enjoy taking walks in nature and would share that joy with yours dogs for an afternoon/ evening stroll. I understand that pets are part of a family and their daily needs should be met as part of anyone else's day. I will take care of your pets as the owner would want. I will like to keep their environment as close to the environment that they normally have to reduce stress for them for when their person is away. I do have a fenced backyard in my home for doggies.

About: I have experience with pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the past year along with having had all different breeds of dogs growing up and enjoy their company. I love to go for walks, hikes, the beach and would love to take your dog with me. I've had to give senior dogs medication and look after them. I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your fur baby when your away and I'm that person and I will treat them like royalty. I am home everyday at 12:00. My husband works from home so one of us is always home with your dog. I am ready when I get home to take your dog with me on a walk or hike. Your dog will have access to a dog run area all day long and a large backyard when we are home. I have a house with a large fenced in yard and your dog will have complete access to outside at all times. At this time I don't have a dog of my own, so there will be no conflict between dogs. I want your dog to feel at home as much possible.

“Celeste is wonderful. We had met and already agreed to a three night pet sit later in the month, and some weekend walks with Duchess so they could get better acquainted before the overnights. Then I sprained my ankle and my wife's lower back went out. Celeste on very short notice stepped up by taking Duchess for unscheduled neighborhood walks so we could rest and recover. Two walks in now and Celeste and Duchess have clearly bonded. Duchess is a totally happy love bucket who thinks every person is her friend, but she responds best to people who are naturally relaxed and comfortable around pups while being the loving person in charge. Celeste checks all those boxes. We are very happy that we have more walks and a pet sit scheduled with Celeste.”

My husband has been the manager of a farm at a children's summer camp for a number of years that has dogs, chickens, goats pigs and more. About: Hi everyone! I’m just starting out on Rover but I’ve been a dog lover since day one. I have experience with dogs both big and small, in urban landscapes and suburban. I am attuned to their varying levels of energy, motivations, and comforts, all of which lets me form a quick bond with them! I’m a full time student at the UC, and work a part time job. Unfortunately, our hours at work were cut so until September, my schedule is relatively light! College dorms and apartments dont exactly have an abundance of dogs so I’ve been lacking in animal love. I hope to get my fill on Rover! My dogs have always been a part of the family, so that’s how I treat them! On my dog walks, I like to let them sniff all they want (but no eating!), I have no problem jogging if they’ve got some zoomies, and above all, I just want them to feel satisfied and ready to rest when they return home. I respect dogs as much as I respect people!

About: I have owned big dogs my whole life. Two labs, a retriever and a Catahoula mix. I have never know my life without a dog in it. Since I was little I would help take care of the dogs. From them being puppies to elderly dogs. I have watched my own dogs as well as others. I have also an accompanied a mobile dog groomer during her work. I helped wash the dogs as well as keep them calm and happy while she worked. I definitely learned A LOT about cleaning up after puppies while working with her. I am currently home for the summer from college and I do not have any other jobs so I have a lot of free time. I available all week except for when I will be out of town. I understand that every dog has different needs. I am fully flexible and willing to work with your dog in whatever way they need. For example, I have helped my dog through her fear of fireworks by wrapping her in a blanket and holding her (a little peanut butter helped too). Or if your dog needs a lot of exercise to stay calm and happy I will run around for hours. I am adaptable to the dog and I can help in whatever way is needed!

About: Stemming from a childhood with German shepherds, I’ve loved being constantly surrounded by animals for most of my life. I have experience with dog walking, playing with other dogs, watching overnight, and can accommodate as needed! I have open availability with a preference toward mornings and afternoons.
